Phoebe sat thinking for a minute, "well, you just said that it wasn't what yiu had in mind, maybe thats it" she said, "ask him after class. What is he going to do? Tell you to bugga off? May as well try"

"Shoot more laser beams at me." Katherin said with a laugh. "If I am creating the reason I can't control my abilities what do I do about it? It isn't like I can just decide today I am going to be awesome and my powers are going to do exactly what I want them to do. Sometimes it sucks to be the child of a hero."

"Practice, practice, practice" phoebe said with a laugh, "and practice some more"

She grinned, "as opposed to being the kid of a villian? Of course I might just be lucky growing up without her, or whoever my father is. But if ylj want to practice, yoj should see if you can use this room, or just turn a prt of the school gardens into a snow field!"

"I suppose any super parent would be hard. and homestly im probably harder on myself then my dad ever is. There's an idea. I can just see it now. I turn the gardens into an igloo. Everyone can spend the free period playing in the snow. I'll have to ask where I can practice. No since in destroying something." Katherin wanted to be as confident in her abilities as the other students were.

"Ive just been using my power where ever, but I suppose with gsrdens all around us, whose gonna notice a treehere or there?" Phoebe mused, "maybe someome can melt the snow for you afterwards. No lasting damage"

Katherin hummed thoughtfully. She studied the class. She didn't remember anyone with light or fire abilities, but it was definitely an idea. "I will have to ask around, but I know a storm like I created in the other room can do serious damage not only to people but to buildings as well. I'm not sure I want to risk hurting anyone."

"Then ask about using the room" Phoebe said, "until you gain more control" she looked about thoughtfully "if you get turned down, maybe I can help. Don't k ow how. Have to think on tnat"

Katherin pondered the idea but didn't see how Phoebe's plants could possible help her learn control. Looked like she was going to have to talk to Mimic after class and hope he didn't shout lasers at her. "Well one good thing came out of today. I'll be able to tell my dad that I landed a round house kick on Mimic. That should entertain him."

Phoebe laughed, "not everyome can say that, at least" she said "we will all get better and better. The first step for you is asking for the room, or somewhere to prwdtice" she reached over, grabbing her notepad and pencil, "and learn to start small"

Kyra sighed, smiling thoughtfuly. "Okay..." she laughed slightly.

Illumi walked through the hall, just in time to catch Kyra's brother, Kurapika. He smuled. "Sup, Kura? He chuckled.

Kurapika smiled at his friend. He hadn't seen his sister in two years, so he wad excited to be able to see her. "Where's Kyra?" he asked.

John walks into Mimic's classroom as he asks for another student to come in. John shrugs, stands ands walks into the room. He leans against the wall, white tentacles beginning to cover his body as he asks, "Hey Teach. Ready to get your butt kicked? I discovered a new power last week."

Ben shrugs as he stands up, "First of all, I understand his reasons for his behavior. Secondly, he basically just pushed a guy. It's not really a big deal." Ben throws away his trash, then returns to the table and asks, "you two coming?"Anthony rises and tells Aver'i, "You're going to love the next teacher. His methods are rather...unique." He nods to the other two students and leaves them behind as he walks to Mimic's class.

She decided to drop the topic on the matter of the entire school seeming to hate Anthony. "Sure, yeah, already been late once, probably shouldn't make a habit of it." She stood up and listened as Anthony told her about their next teacher, but he left before she had time to say she'd actually seen him in action yesterday, oh well. "I only caught the end of this class yesterday, I didn't get a chance to, well.. you know, whatever it is you call it." She explained as they walked to class.

Austin amiled walking into the classes, figuring the two of the trio would be behind him and took a seat with a yawn, brushing his hand over his orange and black fur.

Ben leads Aver'i to the correct room, and sits down next to Anthony. He asks Anthony, "Did we miss anything?"

Anthony shrugs, "Merely a display of a largely useless, uncontrolled ability." He chuckles, then continues, "I'm kidding. Some girl made it snow, and now that muscle bound student tour guide is getting ready to go."

Kyra sat down next to Austin, not wanting to sit next to someone she didn't know... Or trust.

Illumi and Kurapika walked down the halls, laughing and talking, making up those six years of seperation from their friendship.

Connor shifted to sit with Austin and Kyra, watching the screens curiously.

Kijani wandered the school building, staying well out of the way of classroom doorways. She didn't want to get caught, she didn't want to be dragged back to class. The quiet halls were soothing, and her footsteps echoed slightly as she walked.

She walked for what seemed like ages, but it was probably less than 20 minutes before she found a door, marked with plain letters.

"Counselor".

Her whole body went still as she just stared at the door. Of all the places she could have found, she found a place where she could be forced to look at the cause of her distress.

"...not fair, Universe." She rolled her eyes and stuck a middle finger up at the sky, before turning the handle of the door and peeking around the eye, her golden eyes curious and slightly anxious.

As Kijani opens the door, she is greeted by a warm smile and an welcoming voice.

"Ah, Ms. Rayne." says Charles Xavier from behind his desk, "I was wondering when you'd finally make your way to my office." He extends a hand toward two chairs, one a rather standard wooden chair, the other a plush bean bag chair. "Please, take a seat." Once Kijani is seated, Professor Xavier comments, "As soon as you entered my history class, I knew something was bothering you. However, I thought it would be in your best interest to let you approach me, as opposed to the other way around." He leans back in his wheelchair and laces his fingers together as he asks thoughtfully, "So tell me, what's the matter?"

“Cocky boy, aren’t cha?” Mimic remarked on this boy’s posture. A complacent hero is a dead hero by his books.

Mimic extended his right hand out, and with his telekinetic powers, grabbed the boy by his chest, and flung him to the right hand side of the room. His eyebeams ready to shoot out a blast, “What’s the matter? Freak like me got your caught?”
