Flood looked at Captain America as he begn to get up. He nodded his consent and Flood began walking to Power Devolopment class and arrived rather fast due to how close the classes were. When he got there he sat down and took out his journal. He was getting close to the end, he really should get a new one. He turned the page and was met by dozens of lines. Crap, forgot about those. Now he needed something else to keep him occupied otherwise he would start reverting into insanity mode. He looked around for someone and saw no one. Double crap. The voices were already starting to speak. He saw the chalk board and rushed over to grab some chalk. He started writing down math equations to try and keep his mind busy. Lines simply wouldn't do this time.

Sue

Sue went on to class, noted that Phoebe was close-by, but not Kijani. In her words, Sue could tell that she needed time alone – because at one point in her life Sue said the exact same words and it was when she was not at all happy. She’d let her be for now. She sped on to the classroom, in the hopes to be early. She was not.

She stood in place and watched the boy go mad in place on the chalkboard writing these math equations, some of which she’d never seen before with the strangest symbols.

The teacher wasn’t here yet, so she grabbed some chalk and drew two horizontal lines and two vertical lines which formed a grid. She tapped him on the shoulder, and once she got his attention, she drew a circle on the top right hand corner.

Tic-tac-toe, yo. But before he could write, she heard steps that were awfully familiar.

Mimic

He entered the class. "Sit down, you lot," though it was just two of the students. His wings fluttered, his feet adjusting to the contact of the cold floor of the air-conditioned room.

"And clean this up, you two," he pointed at the blackboard.

Sue

Not cool. She drew but 5 shapes, and she had to help erase everything. She didn't mind, but her only complaint was that she couldn't reach the upper parts of the blackboard. She erased her half of the board, well half of her half at first, then jumped repeatedly to reach for the top.

Katherin was frustrated and grateful when the PA called her to power development. She sent the partial letter promising to write more later. "Looks like Mimic wants to beat up some more of us."

Flood grabbed an eraser and quickly wiped down the board including some of Sue's side. "Sorry about getting you roped in with that." He said as he walked over to a seat and sat down. He had accidentally left his journal open revealing the hundreds of lines he drew for anyone to see.

Pheobe sat down, immediately opening her note book and writing a few bits and pieces down before she could forget them. She was in the process of doing a few quick sketches as Mimic came in.

Connor sat down, at a chair next to Flood. He figured he should get to know his roommate, if inky for the simple fact that they were roommates. He noticed the book open, seeing the lines and lines of weiting

Flood looked over at Connor and realized he was staring at something. He followed his gaze and panicked a little when he saw his journal open. He closed it quickly and began talking. "You don't always get lucky with who your parents are. My dad was incredibly insane. I have to keep my mind busy otherwise I'll slowly go insane as well." He explained as he looked at Connor. He studied him for a second and saw the spark. Flood always had a talent for judging people and what he saw was the spark of intelligence that all geniuses had. He saw it in himself whenever he looked in the mirror. Not that he looks in the mirror too often. The other things he sees in himself scare him too much.

"Everyones a little insane" Connor said, "you honestly think my father is sane? I mean jes not voices in the head crazy, but seriously?" He shook his nead, "you just gotta...figure out whats important, and focus on it"

Mimic

Mimic stood at the centre front of the classroom and watched as students settled down into their seats, an obvious phenomenon of social circle formation with the visible scattering of people. Over the years in the Academy, Mimic taught classes and observed these circles become a stronger bond which ultimately became an alliance, birthing a dynamic and powerful band of superpowered beings. However, he has also seen many groups break down in intolerance and distrust, and a lot of it has to be with an eclectic mindset of choosing the right people that you work best with and the people you desired in having. This is why Power Development class was basically an audition for potential leaders in organizing their teams and training together as allies. Mimic enjoyed the process, but sometimes the outcome was not as desirable when memory came to serve him.

He already had eyes on some of the power players and potential leaders that he had tested, but hoped to see more out of them by the end of the semester. It was a grading system in his mind and accessed based on an amalgamation of comments from all of the lecturers here. The academy will decide if they’ve been trained to what they’ve aspired to. But now, it was still day two, and there was still fresh meat to grind and pulverize.

“Katherin, you’re up,” he spoke as he walked into the battle simulation room.

"Again," he stopped halfway out the door and turned to the class, "feel free to watch your classmate and I duke it out," he switched on the TV, and entered the fight room.

"I don't know how much duking there will be." Katherin mumbled under her breath as she stood up. She couldn't decide if she was excited or terrified to be going first today. She already decide that using her powers for attacking would be pointless, but maybe she could use them as a distraction. Katherin took a deep breath before standing up. She repeated to herself that this was just like training with her dad. It would be tough be she would learn a lot from it. She wondered who would be watching and what they would think of her skills. Focus Katherin, she scolded herself as she followed Mimic to the other room.

"Good luck" phoebe said to katherin, "don't let him faze you!" She tapped her pencil on her desk, ready to watch

Mimic

Mimic, the man that taunted people to get that emotional and distracted, was prepared to go on a high with this girl.

"Well come on then, little girl. You don't need my permission," as he started to charge up his laser vision, the beam red and glaring which felt like staring into a light bulb.

Katherin thought snow. She focused her mind on the idea while running. Instead of the light snow she envisioned of course Katherin created a blizzard that made it nearly impossible to see more then inches in front of her face. Ok not what she wanted but she could work with it. Katherin slowed down. She didn't want to slip on the wet floor. Now if she could find him she might be able to get an attack in. Katherin tried to remember where Mimic had been standing before the white out. She aimed a round house kick where she thought he might have been.

Mimic permanently possessed Iceman’s manipulation of ice and snow. This gave him an understanding and array of abilities that gave him a chilling advantage over Katherin.

The blizzard she created was thick and it felt almost corrosive to the skin. It was a dangerous situation and quite frankly a sign of lack of discipline in their power.

“You fool! What do you think you’re goi-,”interrupted with a kick to the face, angry and flustered.

“You want snow!? I’ll give you snow,” as Mimic, using his own abilities, ranked up the speed of the blizzard. For the little atmosphere that they had, the snowstorm surprisingly picked up so much speed that it felt almost suffocating to be in the same room. Thankfully, they’re both cryokinetic, and unluckily for Katherine, Mimic blasted laser beams all over the room in short blasts, hoping to knock the little girl out.

He’d tucked his wings in, in the fear that they’d freeze overtime, his strong animalistic feet clenching hard and firm to maintain his ground against the strong gale.

His legs were as strong and powerful as Beast’s, and the low kick barely thudded on his shin. From there, Mimic reached down and grabbed her leg, lifting Katherin up upside-down, and finally using his telekinesis to hold her in place in the air, turning her upright, with a soft-powered concussive eye beam blast, she shot her to the opposite wall.

“You created your own weakness, Katherin. Work on it!”

“Call in the next one, please.”

"That makes no sense!" Katherin shouted as she stormed out of the training room. She thought she had done better then some. She was going to be hurting later. In the mean time she had to figure out what he mean. How could she create her own weakness? And how do you overcome something you created? Katherin sat at her desk deep in thought.

Phoebe went over to katherine, "that was awesome" she said, "don't worry. This is all about learning. One day, we will all kick his butt, and throw him down from his mighty perch" she smiled reassuringly at katherine, plopping down next to her, "I would really nate to be on the end of your snow"
