Ryan hugged her back tightly. "It's okay. " He whispered. He clearly was worried. "What happened?" He asked.

"The mist, what ever it was..." she shook her head, "I dont know. Somehow, it controled me. Changed what I wanted to do, into things I hope I never do again. Made me think things. I don't know...." she grimaced, noticing how late it was getting,

but she didn't want to be alone. She knew she wouldn't sleep if she were alone.

"Can I stay with you tonight? Please?" She didnt care if it broke some school rules. She felt safe with Ryan.

Austin looked at Connor and spoke," all of us have it in us to kill another person..." He moved a little," use this as a learning experience, for that is why we are here. And if you didn't feel the way you do now, I would truthfully be very, very worried. I'm worried about you now, but I at least know your not a crazy psychopath." He grinned softly, nudging Connor with his arm.

This made connor smile slightly. "I know. But how...how can someone just say "dont worry about it" after you have just killed them? It doesn't seem rational, of course, rational would be that this never happened. But I doubt this school is meant to be rational, really"

Katherin blushed. She couldn't speak for a whole minute. A date? The thought thrilled her and scared her. She didn't know anything about dating. But she definitely wanted to do this again. Katherin wanted to know she was good at something that she was wanted by someone. "I would love to do this again. A date it is. One of many I hope."

Aver'i felt exhausted, maybe not physically but definitely emotionally, considering everything that had happened. She had dragged her feet to her room and flopped onto her bed for a couple of minutes. Once the relief of being back had passed she changed into shorts and a tank top and walked over to her door and put it on the latch - she wasn't expecting visitors but she didn't like to lock her door just in case someone did want to talk to her, she'd hate to not be there for someone if they needed it. She put on some gentle music and picked up a book, curling up on her bed as she started reading.

He shrugged now and said," all we can so is try to adapt to things and learn and grow. At least we have a school like this unlike our parents."

Katherin didn't want to think about early that day. She just wanted to enjoy her time with Jack. He was giving her something she had never had. Something that had nothing to do with her powers. Katherin pressed her cheek against Jack's back. She breathed in his scent and enjoyed the trip back to campus. Tomorrow was soon enough to worry about anything else. "I liked the way the day ended. I think I like you and parkour."

Connor laughed, "I suppose that is true" but he k ew it would take him a long time to adapt to this knowledge. "Well, we jave been in that simulator all day, so I dont k ow about you, but im hungry"

Relief washed through phoebe, and she very nearly sob. She took a deep, steadying breath and said, "everyone keeps on saying that, maybe one day I'll be able to believe it. Thank you"

Jack smiled to himself. The first part had been terrible. Now things were looking up. A date and parkour. What a day. It almost made him forget the bad start. "I wanted to just stay in my room. Luckily I did not. I like you Katherin. We will get you to be an expert at Parkour. Trust me. " He said happily. This was a perfect ending to the day.

Ryan nodded and smiled. He reached over and hugged her again. "We all have a bit of darkness inside us. It's a fact. What we do about it is what matters. Phoebe, I like you. I mean you get the moron that's me. I'll always be there for you Phoebe." He promised her as he whispered to her. "Let's get some sleep. " He said throwing his shirt to the side. He lay down on his bed. He just wanted some sleep.

"I almost went to my room as well. I am glad that I did not. I have lost my trust in just about everything today. But I feel like I might be able to trust you." Katherin was tired. She could barely keep her eyes open. It had been a draining day both emotionally and physically. She simply didn't have the energy to stay awake much longer.

Austin chuckled," of chourse I'm hungry. I'm never not hungry." He chuckled a bit and stood up, glad he count at least cheer his friend up a little. He said," let's go!" He quickly walked to the cafeteria, looking back at Connor.

Avanhelsing said Ryan nodded and smiled. He reached over and hugged her again. "We all have a bit of darkness inside us. It's a fact. What we do about it is what matters. Phoebe, I like you. I mean you get the moron that's me. I'll always be there for you Phoebe." He promised her as he whispered to her.

Phoebe closed her eyes tight, "you aren't a moron. You are sweet, and kind, you are funny, and brillant, not a moron" she would be the girl she always was. Unable to hurt a single soul without fear. Always looking for the best in people. Always hoping, I'll always be there for you no one had ever said that to her before. She leaned up, and kissed him softly, pulling away "I like you too"

connor smiled, and followed Austin, stifling a yawn. His slept had been restless and disturbed, as Flood seemed to keep odd hours. Perhaps he would get use to having such a...erratic roomamte eventually. He got some food, sitting down

Jack arrived at her dorm. He lowered them both to the ground with a web. "You can always trust me. " He said quietly. Once she got off his back he moved quickly and kissed her gently on the lips. Once he broke off he smiled. "Use that as my promise. I won't lose your trust." He said quickly swinging off to the family house. He felt like sleeping at home. He swung into his open window. A habit. Keep the windows open. He flipped into his bed. It was good to be home. He fell asleep soon after.

Ryan kissed her back. Shocked she would kiss him. "I think we'll get along well. " He mused tired as heck. He needed sleep. Badly. He pulled her close to him when she lay down. Nothing immoral here. "Good night Phoebe. "

Katherin walked to her room with her hand to her lips. A kiss! She could hardly believe it. The day had been one heck of a roller coaster. Now that it was done all she wanted to do was dream of kisses. Many kisses.
