Ben walks up to Zack and holds out his hand, "Zack, it it?" he asks, "I'm Ben. You any good at dodgeball?"

John chuckles as Kijani's face goes red with embarrassment and responds to McCoy, "No problem teach." He then adds in a lower voice, "We'll settle it at my place later."

Anthony tilts his head in surprise as Sue picks him, and walks to join her team. "Well this is a surprise,"he thinks, "I thought Kijani would end up picking me." As he stands next to Sue, he gives her and his other teammates a small smile, "I'll give my all, but I must admit, you'll probably regret picking me. While I know the rules of this game, I've never played it."

Professor McCoy stands in the center of the gymnasium and announces, "Connor and Sue's teams are up first."

Austin directed his thought to Estella something about him just rubs my fur the wrong way... I can't really explain it however... He nodded to Connor then again as the starters were announced. He walked over to the court, stretching out a little. He rubbed his hands together, then tightened the strap of the amulet so it wouldn't bounce around as much. He took a deep breath, rolling his shoulders, mostly ready to begin.

Ben frowns, "What the hell is he talking about? Isn't Estella the alien?" Instead of voicing his thoughts, he smiles, "Nice to meet all three of you. Basically, in this game, when someone throws a ball at you, you want to either catch it, or dodge it. If you get hit by a ball, you're out of the game. To get others out, you throw the dodgeballs at them." Ben gets in a four point running stance, and nods at Connor, "Ready."

Connor followed Austin onto the court, looking over his team. "Ryan, I know you and Phoebe are an item, so if you don't want to attack her, throw the bal to one of us, okay? Let's all just do our best"

Sue

She gathered her team, and thought for completion-sake, they’d think of a name.

She poked Anthony, and made a circular motion with her finger which she aimed at everyone, and mouthed “name” and followed up “team name.”

Anthony tries to understand what Sue means as she waves her finger around, then asks, "You want us to make a team name? Using each of our names?"

Ryan walked over to Connor and his team. Might as well follow them. "Ready." He said getting into a sprinters stance. He was so ready for this.

Jack got ready to go. He loved this. "Your going down. " He said over to the side. He was hoping to win.

Austin crouched down, grimacing when he found he couldn't as easily go down onto all fours. So he didn't, he simply crouched. He said," so. Everyone ready?" He looked at the team, focusing on Connor while he waited for the other team to come out of their little confab. There wasn't much strategy in dodgeball he believed.

Sue nodded hurriedly, and mouthed "quickly." She jumped in place in hesitation.

I'll explain what Zack is talking about later, okay guys? She heads out onto the court. The game was simple enough. She hadn't done many physical activities like this on earth yet. But that doesn't mean she couldn't do it. The catching was new but dodging attacks is something she's had to do a lot of in the past.

Anthony nods, "From this moment forward, we shall be known as Sue's Japes. Now let's win this." He looks around and notices then running stances that others are using, and follows suit.

Suddenly, Hank cries out, "Go!"

Connor's Team:

Ben darts out as soon as the signal is given, reaching the half-court line in fractions of a second, and snatches a ball, before racing back and looking for a target.

Conners team:
Griffin watched the others a minute. Once he saw what Ben descripted in action Griffin understood the explaination better. He began picking up balls and throwing them at random people.

Connor pushed himself to start, running just behind Ben, grabbing a ball, just as Phoebe grabbed one next to him. She was gone before he could do anything about it, so he quickly backed up.

Sues japes

Pheobe snatched a ball up, holding her breath as she saw Connor and running back to the relative safety of the other side of the court. She looked for a target

Conor darted forward. Not using his speed he started to wait. He had a plan.

Jack ran foreword to try and grab one of the balls. He decided against it. He did not want to get hit.

Connor team

Austin raced forward grabbing a ball and dashing backwards again, his ball raised, looking for the first victim. He was on his toes, bouncing up and down. He was ready to dodge, ready to fight. His nose was flared in a desperate attempted to get more information. He hurls a ball straight at Jack, his body moving through the movements and nearing the line but in a distance where he could still react with plenty of time.

Sue’s Japes

She had no idea what Japes meant, but she went with it.

Suddenly, Hank cries out, "Go!"

Sue’s heart raced, adrenaline kicked in and it was on.

She knew she shouldn’t rush to the ball immediately, her legs far too short to be fast enough. So she stood where she was, near the back, and readied her body to dodge.

Conners team:

Griffin decided he loved dodge ball. He had not ever had this much fun. He was throwing the balls as hard as he could. Avoiding them was challenging but he had is animal reflexes so Griffin was not worried.
