Speaking of unseenshade's character, I think Nargesh would probably get along with Gaelel the most.Seeing as she's probably the few of the female warriors within the company. Kind of like a big sister probably, so prehaps not far from what Diabolicalrhapsody had in mind, they might even be friends of a sort.. Not being very religious due to circumstances of her life, she probably would not care much for Shar's zealous nature. Most of everyone else she judges almost purely on their martial skill, then their over all usefulness to the company. She's fairly pragmatic like that. (though she would probably favor Armauk a bit more due to his use of a sword.)Almost to bad Orgen is not is not her type, though, he is among the few orcs that would be her physical match.

:{

So just because he uses a sword he is favored. Point noted. xP

Honestly, it seems like Gaelel will end up as a spymaster for the group more than an assassin.

Actually it was a reference to her druidic/dryad nature

Hey man, don't blame me if girls like their pointy things.

Oh yes, also added fun linky image thingys for my weapons, though it's mainly for my own use.

Yeah, but the secrets part and her ability to keep people distanced are two big aspects of a spymaster

On it. I had to run around this morning, but I'm back now.

Edit: FWIW, Prince Bunny isn't there. This is an important outpost, but it's merely the first step of a campaign.

Also, the Chosen are not commanders. They do not run the companies.

I dunno, it wound up being a strategy meeting, when the reality was that the whole thing was meant to be 'get the gatehouse.'

That always seems to happen in these sorts of RP's, player overcomplicating a problem, always bogs down the RP too.

We should probably just go with an assault after some one sneaks the gate open.

Well, some bunnies in the gatehouse need to die to get it open. ;)

Sadly, this nifty invention called the arrow, makes getting close to it tricky.

As a side note, It occurs to me, Nargesh is almost as tall as the common palisade height. :K

She could literally throw half the chosen over the wall. ha.

Edit:
In fact, according to google, they are the same height. Hell who needs a ram, just give her a tree and she'll knock the damn gates down herself.

So before we get bogged down by another set of strategy talk let's just decide right now what we're going to do

Personally I'm in favor of the wargs jumping in and causing havoc with the big'uns clambering over the war and another small contingent out to take the hilltop. Fight shouldn't take too long

Seems simple enough, the how really does not matter that much.

As long as everyone one has a clear goal or purpose.

I think now that we have made that gaffe, everybody should just take their own actions into account and do up a post. Nargesh and Orgen are tall or taller than palisades, Armauk is nearly there and the rest of the Orcs can simply do the trick of storming the front gates.

I say we use the night cover to move our ballistas in range, we assault the tower and storm are main forces and Wargs in while two separate contingents rely on Orgen and Nargesh to punch through the palisades on either side.

Sure doing our own thing is cool, but there's the NPCs to account. If one person writes one thing and then another person writes another that contradicts it, complications happen. Much better to decide on a plan, if only for the sake of keeping the mass combat linear.

I'm thinking Gaelel would be in prime position to infiltrate the church and kill the commander while everyone else assaults. The assault would draw attention away from a lone warg rider coming in behind and taking out the head of command.

I like where this is going. My vote with this.

Seeing as Hrok is the"smallest" in the company and fairly stealthy maybe he could attempt to scale the wall and remove the gatekeepers, making way for the main onslaught. If he had the aid of another such stealthy orc they could infiltrate and get the gates open while simultaneously watching each others backs.

Another option is he piggy backs one of his larger companions to help him shake the wall during shift change. Although even if some by night complications could arise.

She assassinates a guard, uses a alter self spell to look like them and then go and report to the commander?
