I keep all threads in other tabs now so I can still work if the site craps out. I'm sorry to hear that you weren't feeling very well but at least things health wise may be clearing up now? And this site is putting such a damper on my writing. It's like, what's the point if it's gonna keep crashing ya know? *eye roll* But at least we're getting things started.

Yeah, I've started to put RPs I need to reply to in new tabs so that if I can write out responses when I feel up to it and when the site isn't going crazy. But seriously, no rush for posting. I'm good with waiting.

I'm ready to get my HP muse in check though. ^^ I haven't had a good HP RP in ages because I've been burned by great players in past. Urgh. But yeah this site sucks but always be prepared. >__>

Well I hope I can keep my writing skills in check for the time being! Either way, I am off to bed and when there is a reply, I shall most definitely kick my own muse into full working gear! That's if the site is still prepared to work.

Have a great evening!

I know. It's freaking insane. When ti functions, it's great but now it's just twitching in pain most of the time. It's such a pain to deal with. >___< It surely rattles my muse in a very unpleasant way. How are you doing? -sighs-

I hope that goes well for you!

I'm okay, been dealing with an unsettled stomach for two days now. And dealing with getting the house ready with decorations and food, etc. The holidays are awesome but craaaazy.

The holidays are always crazy, but that's an unwritten rule about Christmas. Everything is a little hectic in my house, even if we hardly do cooking / decorating. All the cooking is done on the day really.

Oooh what do you cook? Any baked goods or anything? I just got up and I have no idea what to do for breakfast, don't mind me latching onto some food ideas. ^^;

I'm mostly in charge if my mum wants biscuits or anything sweet, her favourite has to be almond biscuits though. But my step-dad likes to make lots of home-cooked meals, especially ones that just require you stick it in the slow-cooker and let it stew for several hours whilst he's at work. He makes things like beef stew, chicken and ham soup, and sausage casserole.

I'm not really the dinner dish sort of person, the most I know is how to make pizza and lasagna...Maybe Pasta Bakes as well, but I think that one doesn't count because that's just boiling pasta and adding pasta bake sauce. I watched my dad and step-dad make burgers from scratch though... I'll have to try one day.

...All of these are hardly breakfast like though. I normally skip breakfast, but if I ever do something it's often just cereal. I did one time heat up some of these mini baguette things and they were so nice with just a poached egg on top. Because it was like a pre-made bread roll that hadn't been baked that had been frozen so essentially you had freshly cooked bread.

But if you want something easy for breakfast, if I can ever be bothered, I just break an egg or two in a bowl (I usually do two eggs if I have extra mouths to feed or just keep the extra in the fridge for later), whisk eggs, add milk and whisk again. Take two bread slices, cut them in half then dunk them in your egg + milk mixture separately then fry in a frying pan on both sides. Voila, french toast (Or eggy bread).

Almond biscuits? Now those sound good! And slow cookers are great on cold days when you're out at work or something. I can never find a recipe I love though, is his from the family?

Pasta bakes are delish and you shouldn't feel bad about making those. I think they count. I'm pretty good with stir fry, yorshire pudding, several side dishes. I'm only now beginning to learn how to broil and grill meat but it isn't easy. I'm more of a baker myself. If I had time, I'd love to make ravioli but that is kind of a job meant for several hours because it's so time consuming...

Cereal is good. I don't mind oatmeal if I can add apples and brown sugar. I don't mind adding nuts either or milk. Mmm. My dad makes that every night so it cooks in the morning when he gets up for work. I love breakfast though, I'm pretty good with homemade pancakes, baking bacon, I'm slowing mastering the art of cooking eggs various ways but who knew they were so difficult to do properly? And hey, eggy bread is a good idea! There's something so comforting about fresh toast, like a blanket for your heart...or something.

And I'm super backed up but since you're online and not many people are, I'm gonna try and get you your post in a few hours! :3

Urgh, I can only imagine the foods at Hogwarts. *whines*

Almond biscuits are good. My step-sister taught me the recipe and I adapted it so it would need less...almond things. Also known as the "I'm lazy and can't be bothered to look for ground almonds and whole almonds" way. But both taste the same and are just as nice, though mine might be a little lighter on the stomach. His recipes are sort of a "I found a recipe online, and I'll slowly make changes till I perfect it" sort of way. And they are all pretty good.

As for the eggy bread, it's nice. Don't know why it's called "french toast" as it is hardly french and hardly toasted. But ah well. What tastes good is good in my book. I can make homemade pancakes, both thin or scotch ones. The Scotch ones tend to have a thicker consistency and look like this.

The beauty of pancakes is being able to have any sort of things you want on it depending on how you feel though.

The food at Hogwarts always looks delicious. Especially the sweets from the Wizarding World, I mean...I'd love to try a pumpkin pasty, or a cauldron cake, and chocolate frogs would be so cool. I remember when the first movie came out my dad bought me some "Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans" ...And it was disgusting. They tasted pretty horrible, and there was no nice flavours. My luck must have been awful :C

That all sounds very yummy. And hey if you can be lazy and end up making some good food, I think that's a pretty sweet trick! And there is a very fine line between toasting the eggy bread and burning it beyond recognition.

Oh those look good. We have a dry mix we use where we live which works, it sounds German but I dunno. I like it but if I'm feeling fancy I don't mind making my own, it's not hard nor too time consuming and it makes me feel a bit more accomplished. I like fruit on mine or just syrup and butter. Or chocolate chips! I love those.

I've had some decent Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans but they are more for show. I did try Butterbeer when I was over in FL at Harry Potter World about two or three years back. It was SO good. I wanna go back when I have more money because it was expended I think. But to wake up and have grommet food waiting and for each meal? God, everyone there should be obese! XD

They probably don't eat as much as we do since they have access to it everyday for the entire school year, for seven full years. And I've been wanting to try Butterbeer, it sounds so nice. I've never been to America, but if I do, that's where I want to go. And drink butterbeer. And lots of other goodies. Man, I'm peckish thinking about it xD I wish the Bertie Bott's Beans I had were decent...Now I never trust flavoured Jelly Beans :C

I'm not a big jelly bean fan...there are only two flavors I'd eat and otherwise I don't like the texture of them, too small and sticky, more texture than real flavor. Oh butterbeer is amazing, so amazing. And I had a full geeky day running around the park. You need to go, it was the highlight of my life. I'm calling it early I know, but it was just so fun and the best present ever. I'd also recommend a few other places around the park too, I had the best gnocchi I had at one of their fancy resorts for dinner. (You can take a boat ride around the park and its surrounding resorts and hotels) But you're right, they probably don't eat as much, maybe Ron is the exception there...heheh.

Nah, the exception to the rule is Crabbe and Goyle. That's something I never considered in this RP though...How will Crabbe and Goyle react to Draco having a change of heart and how will Draco react to their reaction. That could be interesting to see.

And I really want to go...I think my stepsister has been, where as I haven't...Lucky stepsister :C

I think Goyle might try to do something but I feel like Crabbe may be useless or not really concerned...those poor fellas probably need some development too. *nods*

Crabbe was always that useless one. Think of the harebrained schemes those two might have trying to get their little gang back together. I have a funny image in my head of Luna just not noticing or maybe even not giving the impression she has noticed, whilst everyone else has noticed all too well what Crabbe and Goyle are doing.
