Because deposits of resources only appear in a single vein on a single continent. Obviously.

It does sound more like you're just going to do anything to spite whoever you're fighting if you're defeated. Draconians, at least these Draconians, would leave the spoils of war- otherwise, they never would've made it to space.

Or one could simply produce their own damned materials. Are tens or hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of lives worth a few deposits of metal?

It is actually. It's rather rare, and they have not found any other deposits of this material in their space.

Very well then. One Knightmare frame then equal all the equipment, training, upkeep, and transportation of said men, some for quite a while, then?

Funny thing is that if doing that would do what Duck wanted it to do (Namely destroy the planet's crust, despite later saying that it was only a single deposit in the middle of nowhere), then he would also be breaking the Roman promise despite the fact that retreating doesn't make any sense unless the Romans are honoring that promise. Besides, it was confirmed via steam that the Abh homeworld has sakuradite on it. Presumably, the Romans know about this. Therefore, either way, the Abh have it.

To be honest, I was expecting something more along the lines of "ONLY ROMANS HAVE IT IZ MINE ALL MINE AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA"

How would the Romans know the Abh have it on their homeworld? And for that matter, how did they know it was on Sibo?

Sometimes Wilson its just best to cover your ears, rock back and forth in the fetal position, and whisper "Its science fantasy" With intermittent sobbing if you roll that way.

Only three important things really. Finnegan's Tradehouse no longer exists after an Aeon attack and subsequent ship anti-matter store detonation. A large Roman fleet has invaded an Abh planet. A large Abh fleet has destroyed a Roman planet. Other than that, simply small skirmishes, expansion, and contact.
