I keep wondering how the draconians would react to the laujin. A hard fight? A simple arm wrestle? Best friends forever? They both really live for combat. Hmmmmm

Hey @Dead Cruiser, I've kinda been setting myself up for this in my posting, but I have been mentioning that the Brood was rapidly approaching Cephalid space, and if the growth of the expansion rate is exponential then I think it may be time to bring some Armageddon onto the heads of some unsuspecting squid colonists.

Probably a duel until one is unable to continue or yields. They may have honor, and they'll fight to defend it, but they themselves don't hold an overabundance of pride. Honor is how others see you; pride is how you see themselves. They fight for honor, but they won't kill for their pride. Mmk so making a "nation" that is highly divided is more difficult and confusing than thought Still having thoughts on whether to stick on the primitive race or the fairly advanced one

Draconians would try to conquer you if they found you as a primitive nation, that's confined to a solar system or under. A sizeable space-borne navy would be enough to keep their hostilities at bay.

Or strong friends. Contact the guan if you want a potential group of people on your.. Well, which ever side you favor. However, a invasion by the draconians would surely unite that race. Well, maybe. An RP story based on foreign occupation. I've done them before and sometimes, depending on the occupier, can be extremely fun!

I can't wait to do the Abh-Draconian first contact. I feel like the Abh will be pretty happy to have another species which can equal them in melee combat. Considering the Abh mindset right now ("Yes. We are extremely superior to them genetically and morally."), it'll be interesting to see how they react to a species that they have to acknowledge as their equals. (As well as the Draconian "Murder conquer murder" lifestyle. Given that the Abh generally don't like conquering people without good reason, this could be pretty interesting.)

The funniest thing is that the Abh have absolutely no idea that this happened. They know that an offensive was planned, but they didn't expect planetary bombardment (The Abh only went and destroyed the crust because of the Empress), and they sure as hell don't know that the Empress is MIA. The Abh don't have FTL comms aside from rare wormhole transmitters taken from ancient ruins. Baron Socal used one of these to send the distress call, the Socals thought that space would make them a major player in politics and thus were some of the first to the ruins. It's the only thing of major value that he owns. By the way, I'll be adding to my app a bit, then posting it in the dump. It needs a good overhaul, as I usually need to "break in" a species before getting everything in order.
