Here's my entry, written with haste. I will to answer to any post asking for more information anytime, though, and fill in the blanks soon.

Species: Korvichon (Korvichai in plural)
Description of government: Generally Democratic. The importance given in the words of a person, however, may increase with the age and physical status, because of the rather exotic (for Human standards) biological traits of the Korvichai (extensive despriptions of biology oming soon)

Technological Overview: The main reason for the Korvichai's vast tehcnological advances and innovations was the discovery of an Element with the atomic number 125, named Ravenadim. This element, naturally present around some parts of the universe, but abundant in their home system, was first discovered in their home planet's (Mireksia) second moon (Sarikae). The disovery of its properties have toppled a lot of the contemporary beliefs of the Korvichai's scientific community; Ravenadim has reached an island of stability, making it more stable than other elements at this end of the periodic table, but it decays much more aggressively than expected. A decaying atom actually is prone to ionising itself and surrounding atoms, disturbing some off their island of stability and speeding up the decay into a reaction, subcritical or critical. Sometimes, the high-energised electrons collide with other atoms' nuclei, resulting in the production of other leptons, which in such close proximity leads to an almost unfollowable series of events that are yet to be comprehended fully. Long story short, the composition of the Ravenadin atom enables it to transform different kinds of energy into others without external intervention, with great eficiency, and able to store large amounts of each. This created a revolution in the industry, enabling the Korvichai to innovate in a huge array of technoligical advances
