I'd say alter the freeze trap so that it works like ion weapons. It can shut down parts of the ship for a short time but not the whole ship. (Unless fires from a ground installation or space station and even then it should be short term effects) that's my 2 cents. Everything else seemed good so far.

Military Overview: The Eeda have a relatively small military, but it is advanced. At least in the star ship category. The ships they have are known as Freeze Traps, as the first blast they do to other ships freeze the ships propulsion system for a short amount of time (at most 5 minutes) having it just float in space. After the ships propulsion systems are frozen, they then proceed to launch lasers at the rest of the ship, attempting to take it down from that.
