[IC] Alpha and Omega

The girl watched Robin as this happened once the silver was out she laid it on the night stand. The wound started to heal up almost immediately the wound itself healing. Robin's eyes opened and she sat up quickly before falling over in pain. Looking around she saw the dagger on the nightstand and pounded her fist on to the mattress. "No that was my burden to bare. None of you should have taken it out. You should have left it there."

Daniel was surprised by the sudden outburst, "well talking you this now. It was either let you die by that and the wolfsbane or have mark take it out and I don't think he would have let you die anyway he's omega and your mate so stop being selfish for once he took the large amount of wolfsbane off of you and put it on himself. Look at him robin he would do anything for you." Marks breathing was shallow, while sweat beaded down his forehead as he fell into a fitful sleep again.

"That last member of my pack had stabbed that knife into my heart just as they died. It was supposed to kill me when the time came, I'm surprised I'm even alive right now." Robin said calmly and looked at Mark. "I can't let him handle that much wolfsbane at once, my organs feel like slush I can only assume what he's going through."

Mark groaned lightly in his sleep, Daniel looked at him. "If we don't get that fever to break and soon I'm afraid of what might happen to the omega. He took it on to save your life, though right now he's weak and his body is fighting off the wolfsbane the best it can."

"I need to take it back, his fever won't break with that much wolfsbane. Mine still isn't broken but it doesn't matter. I can't sit ideally by while he pretty much dies. If I take half we'll both survive. In order to do that I'll need to enable the mate's bond though. I don't know how to do that."

Daniel raised an eyebrow, before rolling his eyes. "Let your wolf touch his, his wolf isn't that weak yet so his wolf would probably be able to nudge back once his wolf agrees then the mate bond should be established. You better hurry though, with that much wolfsbane it's going to go slowly through his body and soon will weaken his wolf."

"Don't roll your eyes, I don't exactly get much help fromom my wolf. I've never even talked to her so how would I know what to do." Robin stated and closed her eyes concentrating on connecting with his wolf once it was done she opened her eyes and took back the wolfsbane. She immediately laid down as she felt the burning coursing through her again gritting his teeth in pain. The vampire child immediately switched out the towel on Mark's head and gave a cup of water to Robin. "You need to drink this."

Mark let a deep breath pass his lips, as some of the burning stopped. Though his body was still raging a fever as he fought off the wolfsbane out of his system. It didn't seem like a losing battle anymore.

Robin drank the glass of water in seconds and then laid back down. The silver that had been in her heart was still slowing down a lot of her healing. It had been fused into her heart, something like that wasn't going to be an easy fix. "Little girl what's your name?" Robin asked trying to keep her mind off the pain. "My name's Ana." The vampire replied. "How did you come to being here?" Robin asked curiously. "Daniel took me in after my parents were hunted by the government. He found me in the woods."

Daniel smiled, putting a hand on Ana's shoulder. "Couldn't let her die out there for the most part" mark lightly groaned. Starting to wake up, opening his eyes then shielding them from the lights in the room.

"Your a good guy Daniel. " Robin said with a pained smile and then closed her eyes deciding it'd be best to sleep. Ana walked over to Mark getting another glass of water. She walked over to him. "You need to drink this, it'll help your fever break."

Mark groaned, as he pushed himself up on one of his elbows. Taking the glass taking in the water with big swallows once done he laid himself back down and kept his eyes closed.

"Both of you should rest." Ana said and looked at Daniel gently pushing him out of the room as she herself left. Robin fell to sleep moments after they left her body not being able to handle all the stress and pain on it.

Mark soon fell into a fitful sleep, still reliving some of the old tortures that Luke put him through. Though his body was to tired to thrash in his sleep. Though the sleep he was in wasn't restful either.

Robin's dreams were filled with nightmares of her old pack. The one that had died last looking at her with such anger before he plunged the dagger into her heart. He had fallen to the floor dead after that. Her nightmares mostly had him in them. Him blaming her and yelling at her for not suffering until her death.

By the next day, the fever didn't break. Though some of the wolfsbane was out of his system, David looked between his alpha and the omega. Shaking his head someone had wanted there alpha dead, and mark did his job of being omega on protecting the pack.

Robin was doing better but the wolfsbane was still running strong through her system. Her fever had lessened looking like it was going to break soon. Ana had been up looking after them as long as she could before she herself fell asleep sitting against the wall in the corner. She was a child after all being able to stay up that long wasn't something she could do.

Another few hours had passed, David had taken up on changing the towels on theirs heads. Since Ana, needed her rest the silver that had hit mark was slowing down the process on getting rid of the wolfsbane it would be another few hours before his would break.

Robin woke up and stared at the ceiling her mind not fully awake. She started seeing things in a haze. Hallucinations racked her brain as her body tried fighting off the fever and wolfsbane. "Stop, you can't do that." She mumbled and few minutes later started saying random phrases here and there.

A few hours passed, finally marks fever broke. He groaned slightly as he woke up from his torture filled dreams. Sitting up slightly, to find robin on her bed still then to David who had just finished switching out the towel on robins head. David looked at him, "nice to see you up for once and able to sit up." Mark shrugged, "of course you are." His voice still slightly weak.
