Interest Check
It's late November, 2004, in Nerima, Tokyo, and something strange is about to happen. To the sounds of chimes new and old, several youths are whisked away into another world. They are the Digidestined, their task, gather and form the Royal Knights of Legend and cement their prophecy into reality!
Intrigue! A mysterious figure monitors their progress from the shadows! Is this watcher friend or foe? How does he/she know of the fledgling Chosen Children? And what does this mean for the newly hatched Digimon?
Okay, this is going to be a semi-realistic, somewhat serious Digimon RP, in which 10-13 human characters, played by as many players as we get, (Six or so?) do the above- form the Royal Knights. Now, there are currently all 13 cannon Knights revealed. Does that mean you're stuck with them? No. I'm allowing custom/non-cannon Knight like Digimon who are either already Holy Knight type, close enough to it, or a Warrior/Godman type. You can also design your own, just let me know about your choices and clear them with me first.
Okay, so a few rules.

There are a few things I'd like to tell you. Namely:

Setting: I specifically picked 2004, because I figure it can be as 90's as we need it to be without having to be like "oh yeah, that didn't exist then". So, older style cellphones being popular, but no uber-widespread wireless internet is fine. Actually, that's what I expect. The more 90'sness the better. Its' a work of fiction so we can tweak it.

Personality: Short of speech, but seems incapable of perceiving the emotion of others. Very likely to repeat what others say about individuals to said individuals.

Personality: Similar to Fufumon, Kyokyomon is very short in speech. However, she seems to be beginning to comprehend emotion.

Technique:
-Iaijin: Releases a Katana blade from her mouth during a rapid approach
-Kabutogaeshi: Repels and counters an enemy attack with concussive force when a defensive stance is taken.
Personality: Unlike other Vaccines, Ryudamon is not very active on her own in combat. Contrawise, she seems more apt to act on specific orders rather than general situations or even her own well-being. She is aware of the emotions of others, but is not entirely aware of how to express them herself, or react to them in any way. Ryudamon's sense of self also seems to be lacking, in that things that would usually register as a violation of person even to Machine Digimon do not seem to provoke the same kind of reaction.

Technique:
-Crash Charge: A full body assault which utilizes the various armored portions of her body.
-Ambush Crunch: Moves with great speed and bites the target, such that a large ordinance appears to be in use. The return trip is slower than the attack.
Personality: Raptordramon remains similar in personality to Ryudamon, but seems to exhibit an underlying anxiety. The source of which is unknown.

-Trident Arm v9.9: An attack utilizing the retractable metal cable in the mechanical arm attached to the left limb. Tools are amplified when used in this way.
-Giga Destroyer: Launches a bio-ordinance from the plates behind the chest armor. Secondary uses without rest have significantly reduced power and volume.
-Metal Slash: A slash with the razor edged claws of the Trident Arm v9.9.
Personality: Retains disposition of Ryudamon with little alteration. Metal Greymon X is vaguely aware of actions performed by herself as Raptordramon and other forms, referring to them as instances of the "other me".
Mega 1'-

-Terra Force: Charges energy in the form of a fireball, and unleashes it.
-Hades Force: Collects shadow energy and launches it in a barrage of shots.
-Dramon Killer: Unleashes a sharp strike from the claw gauntlets of the same name.
-Dramon Fire: Launches a series of fireballs from a hidden port in her gauntlet
-Terror Shield: Conjures the metal armor from her back and projects a barrier.
Personality: BlackWarGreymon X remains similar to MetalGreymon X, however, she is more aware of previous and alternate actions that may be taken, but still remains one to be obedient. She seems to be aware of a presence inside her which makes her occasionally hesitant to attack.
Mega II-
Name: Gaiomon

-Rinkazan: A series of energized slashes from the Kikurin katana which leave highly destructive tracks of spectral light behind. The points at which two tracks cross are said to attract the entire energy of the blades if crossed.
-Rinkageki: Using a bow reconfigured from the Kikurin katana, an arrow of spectral energy is fired. This attack is more effective at farther ranges, but is limited in total range, and creates focal points in the Rinkazan.
-Terra Reactor: Focuses a great deal of energy in one place to the point of detonation. This can be targeted to anywhere within sight, but requires concentration for continued use.
Personality: Strikingly similar to Ryudamon, but seems wholly unaware of previous actions taken by other forms. However, the potential actions that can be taken by her are increasingly apparent.
Royal Knight-

-Digitalize of Soul: Launches concentrated energy beams from her hands, which can be left at specific points and triggered later, but can only travel in straight lines.
-Seiken Grandalpha: A slash of light which progresses in a wave is emitted from the Seiken Grandalpha.
-Digitalize of Soul': Uses Digital Powers to summon a monster from another dimension(Much to Nekane's enjoyment.)
-X Inlet: Alphamon distorts personal time to recall a Technique of one of her previous forms, similar to Digitalize of Soul'.
-Bay of Alpha: Exerts her mythical presence to drain away the Data within a Digicore. In small amounts, this can restore others by draining enemies. Extended use could be disastrous, but Alphamon is unaware of the full extent of this Technique, and it is rarely used.
Personality: While similar to Ryudamon, Alphamon possesses a clear memory which is unhindered by Digivolution. She uses her Alpha inForce to see all possible actions in battle, so as to counter them. As such, her attacks in close quarters rarely miss.
Other: Nekane has the habit of referring to her by the prefixal portions of the various Digimon's forms' names.

Note: Stands around 5'0 and his build seems fairly lean and small though he has a pretty toned body due to his years of training. Though he's usually still mistaken as girlish sometimes.
Dossier: Karn is a pretty carefree fun loving girlish man. He honestly could be mistaken either gender due to his pretty looks. Although unexpectedly, he seems to rather enjoy playing either role. He's pretty playful and often a curious sort who ends up getting into a bit of trouble on his own. He revels in making friends and attempting to please others to the best of his abilities. He's a bit immature and acts just like a child, while being a bit directionally challenged, but when push comes to shove in a serious situation, he will fight for his friends to his grave.
Karn grew up in a fairly small town, he had loving parents and a elder brother. However, at the age of six, his mother had gotten caught in a storm during a fishing trip she took him on, inevitably drowning to her death. He had barely survived the incident. When his father realized what happened, he became depressed and started to drink more. Karn's elder brother had to work hard in order to keep them fed. Their father was a bad alcoholic, and took out his frustrations on Karn, blaming him for his mother's death and ended up doing quite a bit of horrific things a parent can do to a child. Karn's elder brother ignored him, wanting no part in his younger brother's or was simply too busy to pay any mind to anything.
At the age of ten, he and his brother were taken away by child services after someone reported their father being unable to properly care for his children. At the age of eleven, Karn was adopted by a kind , if not a odd man. A fashion designer and crossdresser, he adored Karn's adorable looks and often used him as a model for various clients. Leading the young boy to enjoy dressing up, since it was one of the ways to show live for his new father. Never wanting to disappoint his new family, he tries his best in school, was always the friendly sort and always did his best to help others.

Personality: She acts pretty mature and ladylike, finding most other Digimon childish. She doesn't enjoy getting dirty and likes keeping her pretty fur nice and clean. Acts like a prim and proper little princess, but despite her attitude, she's pretty clever.

Icy Pounce: Ice covers her front and back paws doubling the size of her claws, then she runs towards an enemy and jumps on it biting and slashing. Most of the ice will break of while she slashes and hamper the enemy till it melts.
Ice Pack: An icy mist forms around her. Out of it charge what look like 3 Leormon made of ice. They bit and slash at the enemy till they are shattered.
Death Hold: She bites the enemy's neck and weak spots. Once she has a good bite she doesn't let go. This attack is able to bring down a Ultimate Level Digimon although the critical chance is very very low.

Personality: Her personality doesn't change much from rookie stage, but she does lash out less and chooses to keep her head cool and ignore irritable immature Digimon. She enjoys cleaning her fur, gems, and wearing pretty accessories but she does have a more kinder side to her.

Cat Claw: She slashes at her enemies with the claws she holds.
Holy Claw Whirl: An holy aura surrounds her claw and feet, then she slashes and kicks her enemies.
Shield of Ice: She covers her Left Claw in ice to create a shield. Doing this freezes her claw and hand leaver her unable to use it after the shields gone for a while.
Fang of the Beast Queen: She crosses her claw together then spreading them apart releasing an Ice Huntressmon that bites the enemy. This attack is able to bring down a Mega Level Digimon though the critical chance is very very low.

Personality: She has a strong sense of justice and is a force to be reckon with. She's protective over her friends and isn't afraid to slice down evil. But she does always plan before actually going into battle.

Heaven Protection: She and those near her are surrounded by an glowing sphere that repels all attacks.
Celestial Huntress- The Jewel on her head glows surrounding her in a holy aura. She then pounces on her enemies slashing and biting there weak spots.

Personality: A mature and almost motherly figure, she's kinder and less vicious and temperamental then her lower stages, but she's also more vicious towards her opponents.

Personality: Wise and calculating, Leopardmon is a master strategist and able to think on her feet with ease. She keeps her head cool and her abilities sharp. No matter the situation, always preparing for many possible outcomes. She's kind, and hardworking, but it's rare for her to share her ideas and plans.

Dossier: Due to a sheltered upbringing, Katie doesn't have the same amount of life experience as others age and, because of this, hasn't really seemed to have matured much in the past few years. She acts like someone much younger, very innocent, very gentle, always desiring to see the good in people and considers everyone, even strangers, to be her friends. The minutes you see her, she'll automatically be very warm and accepting towards you, no matter how you act in return. She'll always be very caring towards you, feeling upset when you're upset and happy when you're happy and always willing to help you if you need it. However, this has two disadvantages for her: for one, she can incredibly clingy. When she has made a 'new friend', she'll constantly hang around them, often sticking her nose in problems she has no business with, has no sense of personal space of boundaries, and rarely getting the hint when someone wants to be left alone. Second of all, it also means she's extremely gullible. Her great trust in others and her desire to please her 'friends' means she is leaving herself open to persuasion and manipulation and, due to her naiveté, she has no idea that others will try to take advantage of this.
Katie has grown up as a well-loved but also lonely child. During her early years when her parents were still together, her father was rarely at home as he spent a lot of time at work, leaving Katie alone with her mother who, while she did care about her daughter, was... well, eccentric. Her mother suffered from manic-depression and this could make her very unpredictable, often switching from cheerful to sad in a matter of minutes, getting obsessed with various fads and tending to treat her daughter the same way someone may treat a doll or a cute pet rather than a child. With her father not around so much and her mother being such an air-head, Katie didn't really have anyone to talk to. She didn't have many friends at school as her father, being a bit of the protective sort, wouldn't let her have friends round to the house all that often and this caused her to lose a few points socially. It started to get worse around age ten when her mother started leaving her in the house alone, going off and often coming back drunk. At first, this didn't seem too bad, but as a year or so passed, Katie's parents began to argue a lot, though Katie wasn't entirely sure what they were arguing about. Then, one day, her father and mother just decided they couldn't live together anymore and split up, which greatly upset and confused Katie. Didn't they love each other? What had gone wrong? There was then a custody battle between the parents and Katie found herself going between her parents' houses from week to week until, after her mother got arrested for being drunk and disorderly, her mother considered an unfit parent and Katie came to stay at her father's permanently. Since then, her father started to become a lot more protective, purposely keeping things that he fear might upset Katie and doing his best to shelter her from things he felt were inappropriate for her to know about, meaning Katie is ignorant of a lot of things.

Personality: Far more sociable than his baby form, and can now speak. In fact, not only can he tolerate the presence of others instead of running scared, but he actively tries to join in with groups, whether they want his company or not. He tends to follow the group, never voicing his own opinions, and like his tamer, he will cling to those he deems as his 'friends' constantly. Following them and never giving them a break or taking any hints when he's overstepped any social lines. He's clumsy, gullible, is unable to understand sarcasm or jokes - especially when they're at his expense - and possesses a stutter along with already quick and nervous speech patterns.

Thunder Kote - An electricity-charged blade stroke aimed for the wrist.
Personality: While Kotemon still craves the attention and friendship of others as he did as Kapurimon, he's mellowed out considerably, though not for good reasons. Having discovered from others' reactions towards him that he is annoying or over-clingy, he has gained a very low self-esteem and started to gain a very negative view of himself, seeing himself as bother, a burden, ugly, rude, unpleasant etc., and when around others, expect him to at one moment be talking and then suddenly stop and say "Sorry, I'm probably babbling too much" or some other variant. He talks less and much slower than Kapurimon and his stutter, while still present, is far less prominent. He takes criticism against him very personally and will try to alter behavior in hopes of making himself 'perfect', a person who everyone will find likeable. While on the surface this may make him seem very different from Katie, he actually suffers from similar problems to his tamer, in that he desperately wants people to like him and therefore can be a people-pleaser and, therefore, very gullible and easy to manipulate. He still doesn't seem to have any strong opinions of his own and basically a doormat, doing all he can to fulfill wishes of others and please as many people as possible, and instead will alter his opinions and suggestions to fit a view that he feels everyone will agree with. In situations where he can't please everyone, it can cause him to get a little upset, knowing that he's letting others who depend on him down. He takes these things to heart and desperately desires to be as useful to people as he can.

Lizard Dance - Attacks with a series of quick and powerful slices from its two smaller swords.
Akinakes - Attacks the foe with a heavy swing from its largest sword, Akinakes.
Personality: Dinohyumon has gained quite a lot of backbone since his rookie self, changing from the nervous and clumsy Kotemon to a stoic hero, even to the point where he's completely lost his stutter. He's quiet, confident, throwing himself into battle immediately to help his comrades at the first sign of danger. He's much more comfortable in this form, feeling he's actually of use now, and will probably dislike reverting back to his rookie self. However, he's still Kotemon deep down and, during battle, he's more likely to follow orders and act as a support to those he considers to be 'more skilled' unless the circumstances are dire. In this form, he's very protective of his friends, especially Katie, and if things are dire, he'll go into a full berserker-like mode in order to protect them.

Berserk Sword - Wields the Berserk Sword crazily and smashes everything in half with a single swipe.
The Duel - Slashes rapidly with Berserk Sword.
Personality: Born from a desire to protect his tamer, Knightmon isn't too different Dinohyumon, still more likely to act defensively rather than offensively, though he is more willing to act on his own initiative in battle. In his previous forms, he didn't think much of his combat skill, only feeling he was reasonably strong as a champion. Now, he feels much more comfortable in a fight and takes pride in his appearance. He's even gained a sense of chivalry to match his knight-like appearance, talking a 'ye old' style of speech, and feeling it is his duty to defend those who cannot defend themselves.
Mega 1-
Name: SkullKnightmon

Spear Needle - Stabs at opponents with the two needle-like appendages on his arms.
Breast-eye Wink - One eye on SkullKnightmon's breast plate glow, cause momentary confusion for any enemy that looks at it.
Personality: SkullKnightmon's personality is veeery different from his previous forms as he no longer is a simple soldier who follows orders. No. SkullKnightmon is bold, brash, still knightly and with a desire to protect his friends, but he's now fully confident in his own abilities and power that he is now most likely the first to jump into battle... maybe a little too confident. SkullKnightmon's new power has probably gone to his head. Spending so much time feeling powerless, Skullknightmon is eager to prove he is now equal to his allies, so eager that he probably doesn't always think before he acts. He's also a lot more angry than his previous selves, anger that he probably has had stowed away for a while and, now that he is no longer weakling, he's willing to let anyone who upsets him feel his wrath. This probably had a lot to do with the fact that SkullKnightmon is not a data-type like his previous forms but is now a virus, and therefore is a lot more aggressive by nature. He still cares about his allies, but he no longer wants to feel like dead-weight.
Royal Knight-
Name: LordKnightmon

Urgent Fear - Instantly moves into zero distance of the enemy and fires sonic booms with the Pile Bunker.
Spiral Masquerade - The enemy is chopped up with 4 band knives which extend from its armor.
Justice Shield - Raises his shield up, the gem in the center glowing and causing a small, spherical force-field to form around him and anyone standing close to him. The force-field only has a limited space, unfortunately.
Personality: LordKnightmon is a stoic protector, having mostly mastered gained control of his virus-instincts which previously ruled him when he was SkullKnightmon. His deep desire to prove his worth is no more. He is aware he has power and he knows that he can rely on his own decisions in battle, so he'll no longer rush unthinkingly into a fight. Instead, he has retaken his role as a support, hanging back to protect those who need him or simply helping the fight from the side instead of feeling the need to be on the front-lines. He will come to the front if he feels he's needed, of course, and he is still a virus-type, with a hidden ruthless deep behind his stoic mask. He will not suffer his enemies lightly, and will deliver the brutal hand of 'Justice' if provoked. Just because he's calm and collected most of the time does not mean his anger is not a thing to be feared. Do not let his wrath fall upon you.

1, Casual RP Standards. Read 'em, understand 'em, use 'em. I don't want to read something that's short and impossible to understand and doesn't do anything but swell your character's ego.

Now, on to RP content.
There are a few things I'd like to tell you. Namely:
1. I'd like to have a few suggestions when it comes to your characters. a) Born between 1990 and 1985 (Age 14-17 with a max of 19). b) A non-tourist school going resident of the Tokyo area of Japan. They do not have to be fully or even partially Japanese, but at least be able to speak with other characters, c) No two characters should share the exact same feature. Unless there are siblings, no feature meant to be unique should be repeated. Not skin-tone per-say, but things like anime eye colors, hair colors, hair styles, or hereditary quirks. c) I'd like to privately make one request of each player's opening post at least. However, I leave an open line of communication in the OOC or through PM if you want to talk about plans and events in the RP. d) Digimon are newly hatched in this RP, so I'd appreciate not having elaborate backstories or points-of-origin for personality stemming too far from that. (PM me if you have an idea that might break or bend this rule.) e) Early Digimon should use English dub names for clarification, unless the name is really hard to spell/say/remember in either language, or very far from its origin through translational barbarism. In short, easier to write/remember names, and names that are closer to the point-of-origin of a Digimon are preferred. To get rid of the potential "Elephant in the Room", I'm okay with both "Omnimon" and "Omegamon". I think "Omegamon X" sounds better a little, and maybe we can decide that Knights call him/her Omegamon while others call the Digimon Omnimon, or we could have it where when he/she's addressed along with Alphamon, it's Omegamon, but otherwise Omnimon. We can do what we want, just be consistent so there's no confusion.

A proposed device is an item that would allow more precise communication between human and Digimon in the heat of dangerous battle and prevent permanent deletion by having the Digicore shielded. (This device will be in the RP unless majority says it's unwanted/a bad idea.)
3. Digivolving will work in the story through the data having to be processed and prepared after certain items are achieved or tasks are done. Reaching the final Knight form will take the use of a specific item at times, but may be allowed to be achieved in a temporary and limited fashion. Otherwise, it will basically be agreed upon in the OOC beforehand.
4. On the tone: Serious. There can be minor jokes, just don't expect lots of silly situations that are allowed to last long. Awkward situation humor and sarcasm are more welcome, but I will let someone be silly if they feel they need to cheer someone up with it(In Character of course.). Just don't expect an attempt to beat a Demon Lord with a cream pie fight to get very far. Also expect the result of a human attempting to punch a Digimon to be a broken wrist at least. Not a threat, just a statement of Digimon are strong and the majority of threatening ones won't mess around.
5. I'd appreciate if all human characters were new to Digimon stuff and the Digimon to have not been a very high level before- No Former Megas recently deceased, kay? Not without permission and asking first with good explanation. Ruins the fun otherwise.(Also ties into the story/has to do with 1-d up there.)

Unless your character has reason to be crazy. Certain Digimon, such as Alphamon, Omnimon, or others that are deemed very strong (Like it it sounds right calling them "OP"), may have three Mega stages including Knight stage, and wait longer to achieve Knightdom because of it. Things like Alpha inForce may be changed to a way of knowing all possible battle outcomes, or happenings, without knowing which one will happen, or both Alpha inForce and Omega inForce being defensive barriers (Default Omega inForce is Omnimon can't be surprise attacked, do with that what you will.) or Techniques that would be "instant win" being altered in some way to make it more fair. (Such as a certain Digimon not having three energy summons and instead being able to change forms similar to a certain Deoxys instead of being able to break physics at a moment's notice. Basically, one thing raises, everything else lowers, attempting to raise everything causes mortal damage.)

These actions are officially thought to be a cause of [REDACTED], and not serial isolation or frequent relocation as is the assumption by various individuals. After discovering this, her now permanent caretaker gave her a paint set, to prevent her from hurting herself, and to allow her a creative outlet.
No longer hiding away in dank spaces due to her more permanent living conditions, the young girl became aware of "Maho Senshi" a relatively obscure card game featuring various mage like figures, and a matching Virtual Pet toy line of the same name, involving 'raising mages to greater power through the bond of friendship'. She has since opened up, but due to her small frame and lack of "womanly shape", she was often mistaken for a much younger child by those of her age group. Her methods of communicating with others seem limited at best, but that doesn't mean she won't try. However, she is shown to be unlikely to initiate social encounters.

Personality: Unlike other Vaccines, Ryudamon is not very active on her own in combat. Contrawise, she seems more apt to act on specific orders rather than general situations or even her own well-being. She is aware of the emotions of others, but is not entirely aware of how to express them herself, or react to them in any way. Ryudamon's sense of self also seems to be lacking, in that things that would usually register as a violation of person even to Machine Digimon do not seem to provoke the same kind of reaction.

Personality: Raptordramon remains similar in personality to Ryudamon, but seems to exhibit an underlying anxiety. The source of which is unknown.

-Metal Slash: A slash with the razor edged claws of the Trident Arm v9.9.
Personality: Retains disposition of Ryudamon with little alteration. Metal Greymon X is vaguely aware of actions performed by herself as Raptordramon and other forms, referring to them as instances of the "other me".

Personality: BlackWarGreymon X remains similar to MetalGreymon X, however, she is more aware of previous and alternate actions that may be taken, but still remains one to be obedient. She seems to be aware of a presence inside her which makes her occasionally hesitant to attack.
Mega II-

-Rinkazan: A series of energized slashes from the Kikurin katana which leave highly destructive tracks of spectral light behind. The points at which two tracks cross are said to attract the entire energy of the blades if crossed.
-Rinkageki: Using a bow reconfigured from the Kikurin katana, an arrow of spectral energy is fired. This attack is more effective at farther ranges, but is limited in total range, and creates focal points in the Rinkazan.
-Terra Reactor: Focuses a great deal of energy in one place to the point of detonation. This can be targeted to anywhere within sight, but requires concentration for continued use.
Personality: Strikingly similar to Ryudamon, but seems wholly unaware of previous actions taken by other forms. However, the potential actions that can be taken by her are increasingly apparent.
Royal Knight-

-Digitalize of Soul: Launches concentrated energy beams from her hands, which can be left at specific points and triggered later, but can only travel in straight lines.
-Seiken Grandalpha: A slash of light which progresses in a wave is emitted from the Seiken Grandalpha.
-Digitalize of Soul': Uses Digital Powers to summon a monster from another dimension(Much to Nekane's enjoyment.)
-X Inlet: Alphamon distorts personal time to recall a Technique of one of her previous forms, similar to Digitalize of Soul'.
-Bay of Alpha: Exerts her mythical presence to drain away the Data within a Digicore. In small amounts, this can restore others by draining enemies. Extended use could be disastrous, but Alphamon is unaware of the full extent of this Technique, and it is rarely used.
Personality: While similar to Ryudamon, Alphamon possesses a clear memory which is unhindered by Digivolution. She uses her Alpha inForce to see all possible actions in battle, so as to counter them. As such, her attacks in close quarters rarely miss.
Other: Nekane has the habit of referring to her by the prefixal portions of the various Digimon's forms' names.

Dossier: Valdi is, in his element, generally a carefree young man who is laid back and more interested in playing games and reading horror stories than getting involved with fights. He'll occasionally pop out a reference to something he's played or read but is usually far more content to go with the flow. He may not be the most empathetic person and if you just need a shoulder to cry on, he's not your guy, but he is someone who will stick around and keep others going, trying to push them to get better.

Dossier: Karn is a pretty carefree fun loving girlish man. He honestly could be mistaken either gender due to his pretty looks. Although unexpectedly, he seems to rather enjoy playing either role. He's pretty playful and often a curious sort who ends up getting into a bit of trouble on his own. He revels in making friends and attempting to please others to the best of his abilities. He's a bit immature and acts just like a child, while being a bit directionally challenged, but when push comes to shove in a serious situation, he will fight for his friends to his grave.
Karn grew up in a fairly small town, he had loving parents and a elder brother. However, at the age of six, his mother had gotten caught in a storm during a fishing trip she took him on, inevitably drowning to her death. He had barely survived the incident. When his father realized what happened, he became depressed and started to drink more. Karn's elder brother had to work hard in order to keep them fed. Their father was a bad alcoholic, and took out his frustrations on Karn, blaming him for his mother's death and ended up doing quite a bit of horrific things a parent can do to a child. Karn's elder brother ignored him, wanting no part in his younger brother's or was simply too busy to pay any mind to anything.
At the age of ten, he and his brother were taken away by child services after someone reported their father being unable to properly care for his children. At the age of eleven, Karn was adopted by a kind , if not a odd man. A fashion designer and crossdresser, he adored Karn's adorable looks and often used him as a model for various clients. Leading the young boy to enjoy dressing up, since it was one of the ways to show live for his new father. Never wanting to disappoint his new family, he tries his best in school, was always the friendly sort and always did his best to help others.

Dossier: Due to a sheltered upbringing, Katie doesn't have the same amount of life experience as others age and, because of this, hasn't really seemed to have matured much in the past few years. She acts like someone much younger, very innocent, very gentle, always desiring to see the good in people and considers everyone, even strangers, to be her friends. The minutes you see her, she'll automatically be very warm and accepting towards you, no matter how you act in return. She'll always be very caring towards you, feeling upset when you're upset and happy when you're happy and always willing to help you if you need it. However, this has two disadvantages for her: for one, she can incredibly clingy. When she has made a 'new friend', she'll constantly hang around them, often sticking her nose in problems she has no business with, has no sense of personal space of boundaries, and rarely getting the hint when someone wants to be left alone. Second of all, it also means she's extremely gullible. Her great trust in others and her desire to please her 'friends' means she is leaving herself open to persuasion and manipulation and, due to her naiveté, she has no idea that others will try to take advantage of this.
Katie has grown up as a well-loved but also lonely child. During her early years when her parents were still together, her father was rarely at home as he spent a lot of time at work, leaving Katie alone with her mother who, while she did care about her daughter, was... well, eccentric. Her mother suffered from manic-depression and this could make her very unpredictable, often switching from cheerful to sad in a matter of minutes, getting obsessed with various fads and tending to treat her daughter the same way someone may treat a doll or a cute pet rather than a child. With her father not around so much and her mother being such an air-head, Katie didn't really have anyone to talk to. She didn't have many friends at school as her father, being a bit of the protective sort, wouldn't let her have friends round to the house all that often and this caused her to lose a few points socially. It started to get worse around age ten when her mother started leaving her in the house alone, going off and often coming back drunk. At first, this didn't seem too bad, but as a year or so passed, Katie's parents began to argue a lot, though Katie wasn't entirely sure what they were arguing about. Then, one day, her father and mother just decided they couldn't live together anymore and split up, which greatly upset and confused Katie. Didn't they love each other? What had gone wrong? There was then a custody battle between the parents and Katie found herself going between her parents' houses from week to week until, after her mother got arrested for being drunk and disorderly, her mother considered an unfit parent and Katie came to stay at her father's permanently. Since then, her father started to become a lot more protective, purposely keeping things that he fear might upset Katie and doing his best to shelter her from things he felt were inappropriate for her to know about, meaning Katie is ignorant of a lot of things.

Personality: While Kotemon still craves the attention and friendship of others as he did as Kapurimon, he's mellowed out considerably, though not for good reasons. Having discovered from others' reactions towards him that he is annoying or over-clingy, he has gained a very low self-esteem and started to gain a very negative view of himself, seeing himself as bother, a burden, ugly, rude, unpleasant etc., and when around others, expect him to at one moment be talking and then suddenly stop and say "Sorry, I'm probably babbling too much" or some other variant. He talks less and much slower than Kapurimon and his stutter, while still present, is far less prominent. He takes criticism against him very personally and will try to alter behavior in hopes of making himself 'perfect', a person who everyone will find likeable. While on the surface this may make him seem very different from Katie, he actually suffers from similar problems to his tamer, in that he desperately wants people to like him and therefore can be a people-pleaser and, therefore, very gullible and easy to manipulate. He still doesn't seem to have any strong opinions of his own and basically a doormat, doing all he can to fulfill wishes of others and please as many people as possible, and instead will alter his opinions and suggestions to fit a view that he feels everyone will agree with. In situations where he can't please everyone, it can cause him to get a little upset, knowing that he's letting others who depend on him down. He takes these things to heart and desperately desires to be as useful to people as he can.

He's much more comfortable in this form, feeling he's actually of use now, and will probably dislike reverting back to his rookie self. However, he's still Kotemon deep down and, during battle, he's more likely to follow orders and act as a support to those he considers to be 'more skilled' unless the circumstances are dire. In this form, he's very protective of his friends, especially Katie, and if things are dire, he'll go into a full berserker-like mode in order to protect them.

He's even gained a sense of chivalry to match his knight-like appearance, talking a 'ye old' style of speech, and feeling it is his duty to defend those who cannot defend themselves.

Personality: SkullKnightmon's personality is veeery different from his previous forms as he no longer is a simple soldier who follows orders. No. SkullKnightmon is bold, brash, still knightly and with a desire to protect his friends, but he's now fully confident in his own abilities and power that he is now most likely the first to jump into battle... maybe a little too confident. SkullKnightmon's new power has probably gone to his head. Spending so much time feeling powerless, Skullknightmon is eager to prove he is now equal to his allies, so eager that he probably doesn't always think before he acts. He's also a lot more angry than his previous selves, anger that he probably has had stowed away for a while and, now that he is no longer weakling, he's willing to let anyone who upsets him feel his wrath. This probably had a lot to do with the fact that SkullKnightmon is not a data-type like his previous forms but is now a virus, and therefore is a lot more aggressive by nature. He still cares about his allies, but he no longer wants to feel like dead-weight.

Personality: LordKnightmon is a stoic protector, having mostly mastered gained control of his virus-instincts which previously ruled him when he was SkullKnightmon. His deep desire to prove his worth is no more. He is aware he has power and he knows that he can rely on his own decisions in battle, so he'll no longer rush unthinkingly into a fight. Instead, he has retaken his role as a support, hanging back to protect those who need him or simply helping the fight from the side instead of feeling the need to be on the front-lines. He will come to the front if he feels he's needed, of course, and he is still a virus-type, with a hidden ruthless deep behind his stoic mask. He will not suffer his enemies lightly, and will deliver the brutal hand of 'Justice' if provoked. Just because he's calm and collected most of the time does not mean his anger is not a thing to be feared. Do not let his wrath fall upon you.
