This is a revival-rehash-continuation-of the previous thread, found [here](http://www.roleplayerguild.com/topics/69361/posts/ic), due to the GM's inactivity. Vampires in this RP are weakened by sunlight, live in families or clans – the Kingstons or the Blackmoores – and feed on blood to survive. Opinions on mere mortals differ from vampire to vampire, and the general outlook of each family is outlined below so you can make your choice as to which to join. Each family has a head, head members, and then humans that were turned into vampires. Furthermore they are weak when presented with fire and wood and, while a stake to the chest won't kill them, it'll drain their powers. Death only occurs for a vampire through decapitation. In this world of vampires, there is some pretty bog-standard lore to work with. Vampires are weakened, but not turned to dust by sunlight; they live in clans/families/covens (one of two, in this RP); and finally they must feed on human blood to survive, though animal blood can do in a pinch. Each family has a head, outlined somewhere below, and a set of guidelines to follow. As for the RP's OOC rules, they're straight-forward and likely to be those you find anywhere else. No godmoding, speed-posting or Mary Sues, and aim for civility. Has freezers full of blood-bags on hand. - Altering humans' memories is **strongly frowned upon**. Yeah, I love the idea of a characters tab! Best update yet, imo. No more scrolling through pages of OOC to fact check something about someone's character! :D

I'm excited, I can't wait to see where Trixy and Praetor go, I mean the fight scene between those two is going to be stupid awesome.

I just read that Praetor fought on the French side of the French and English (100 years) War, that'll move him up a bit in her book. XD

Praetor loves France, he just thinks that after Napoleon they became cowardly. He's a Roman at heart so just sort of see's Europe and America as Rome's children, fussy one's he has to look after.

I suggest perhaps putting out an interest check for this as well, if we are interested in new blood.

@DiamondBlizz - I'll discuss it with Kidd, when he shows up! But I'm thinking to stick to generic vampire lore rather than including Elder vampires and all that, ensuring everyone's on the same power level if not the same experience level. @Makarov - So am I! I also think I'll make a Klaus-equivalent for the Blackmoore family in addition to playing Alistair (who drinks animal blood exclusively as I already had her CS ready to go a few months back.)

Yeah, we can stick with the generic lore that we outlined on the old thread: weak to wood / fire, decapitation kills, etc etc. Did we decide on sunlight? I'm partial to it weakening--not necessarily instantly killing. One power per vampire. Anything else might be excessive, though other players are free to voice their opinions on it.

I like the lore about weakness to sunlight being like a timed thing, and the longer a vampire is exposed the thirstier they get.

So the generic bit and what-not, can I still keep the true vampire bit, as an antagonist? Also note that Vitae Manipulation is basically control over everything else if I wanted to do so... (Thus why I'll stick to Psychokinesis)
