"You obviously do have a superpower. Your power is that every time you open your mouth, everyone in the room gets the powerful urge to throttle you." As I previously noted, violence is the last refuge of the ignorant, though I am disappointed that Miss Martins has resorted to it. I had such high hopes for her. "I have little fear of that, Cassandra. If I was ever in any real danger I'm sure you would warn me in due course." I give a pointed look at Ditto, putting attention to very the real danger she failed to warn him of, though I begin to feel bad about it almost immediately. I really must stop stooping to her level as it is rather unseemly for one of my stature. It is my own personal vice, I am afraid, that I can let no slight pass unnoticed. Deduction;Hubris. I am cursed by it. Fortunately for others to balance my pride I make a point holding no grudges. I nod approvingly at Cassandra's answer to Miss Mountain's query. Maybe there is still some hope for her after all. I sincerely hope so, otherwise my stay with this team will be marked by a distinct lack of intelligent conversation. I barely respond to Mr Harrison's orders 'to play nice'. By the love of all that is holy, can he not see that I am doing exactly that! I have shown a remarkable reserve while dealing with Cassandra and Armoury! After all, all I did was offer my own, uniquely brilliant assistance. If that's not being nice then I don't know what is. I let him spew his trite phrases with no more than a quirk of an eyebrow though, as he is right in his assessment that we do have more pressing concerns. Hellfire entered next, taking charge of the situation quickly and leading the team out (A quick check of my watch tells me it has been almost five minutes since I set off the alarm, and only now are we getting ready to leave with only a partial complement of our forces. Truly embarrassing, I'm almost glad Ditto is too incapacitated to witness this abysmal failure) Fenrir ordered me to keep close to Gabe, though whether that was for him to look out for me, or for me to keep an eye on him I am not sure. I suspect its a little bit of both. Never one to disappoint, I follow our resident pyromaniac to the teleporters, pulling my mask and hat into place. I pass the starstruck Bolt with an irritated sigh. Just what we needed. Another idiot. Sometime later Well, this is just delightful! Stuck in the middle of a warzone, locked in battle with a group of insane criminals (And an idiot based on a child's toy) while the local peons gawk on instead of, oh I don't know, running for their lives maybe! Case in point, the group of slackjawed college drop-outs gathered in front of me, filming the fight on their Q-phones, hoping to discover the next viral vid. I must admit, part of me is willing to leave them to the likelihood of their grizzly fate if they stay, though the rest of my team would probably frown on such an action "Gentlemen, I really do suggest that you depart this place, posthaste!" I advise them. The layabouts either laugh at my accent or declare the Rogues aren't all that scary. "I didn't think the Phantom Stranger was in Young Justice anyway." States one of the puzzled fools. I don't think he meant it maliciously, but it was the theoretical straw that broke this donkey's back. I shoot forwards, snatching his Q-phone from him. His fellows begin to voice their complaints. Despite their protestations I cast it far away in the opposite direction of the battle. Even I'm impressed at the distance on the throw. "You can't do that!" shouts one buffoon. "I think you'll find I just did. Pay attention next time. Now get out of here, and be sure to tell the press that it was the Phantom Stranger who did this to you. P-H-A-N-T-O-M S-T-R-A-N-G-E-R, you lack witted cretins!" I deliver a swift kick to one of the fools behinds as they trot off, still slower than I would like. Ditto has arrived by the time I finished, one of his doubles staring at me, no doubt disapproving my methods. I don't care though, I hardly need to explain myself. Those gentlemen will be able to grace another morning thanks to me. I continue with the crowd control, leaving the actual 'fighting' to my compatriots, at least until a suitable opening shows itself for me to intercede.

Following the now conscious Ditto's orders, Hellfire made his way towards the Flash's icy antagonist. The Rogue was shielded by an expensive-looking overturned car, shooting beams of ice in Hellfire's direction. So far, none had hit their target, instead covering the road with sheets of slippery ice. However, Gabe knew that the beams would eventually hit him, and when they did, they would send people running. But he wasn't people. A ball of transparent black fire shielded the metahuman, evaporating the beams of ice the moment they came within his vicinity. Getting ever closer to Snart, Hellfire called out to him. "Excuse me, Mr. Snart?" He got no answer. "I couldn't help but notice that you're still firing that cold cannon at me." He stepped over a piece of rubble and kept going. "Now, I don't know if you've realised that it's having no effect on me, but I sure have. Do you know why that is?" Still no answer. "Okay, let me explain. You see your fellow Rogue over there, Heatwave? His gun could go up against yours pretty evenly, right? His fire would cancel out your ice, and vice versa. But that's the thing: Heatwave's fire comes from a gun. A flamethrower. A thing. But my fire... that's all me. It's my essence. You see, Cold, I can manipulate all elements of the sun. I am the sun." Hellfire took one final step, standing nose to nose with Captain Cold. "I am fire." Cold swung at Hellfire, almost catching him unawares. At the last millisecond, the pyromancer ducked underneath his arm, sending a fist to Snart's ribs. He followed it up with an elbow to the chin, knocking the Rogue down onto the ground. The guy was a good leader, a good marksman, a good tactician, but he could definitely use some hand-to-hand training. However, the elbow certainly wasn't the end of Cold. He fired a shot from his cold cannon, nicking Gabe on right shoulder, slowly getting up from the ground. He fired again and again, but this time had no effect on Gabe, who melted the ice with his black flame. Hellfire punched Snart, bursting his nose, following it up with a knee to the face. Snart went down, out cold. I have got to stop with those, thought Gabe. He turned to look at his teammates, all engaging their respective Rogues, and called out, "Cold's out of commission!" He cuffed the unconscious con and lifted into the air, ready to fly over to any teammate that may need assistance.

When Bolt heard the announcement of them teleporting to downtown, he was surprised by the idea of beaming from HQ to downtown Star City. "So we get to use teleporters? That's awesome, but I would rather drive there" he said to the team as he went into the teleporter and was transported to the place where all of the action was happening. "Finally! Some action!" he yelled as he cracked his knuckles in preparation to use his fist and crackling currents of electricity surged through his body causing him to flash a bright blue. When Nikolai heard Ditto give him and the others to try and handle the destruction that Heatwave and Top were causing his mind raced through tons of different ideas to take them both down. He decided on an outrageous one and Bolt ran towards an abandoned Fifth Generation Chevrolet Camaro. Luckily the person who owned the car had left their keys in the transmission when they had fled and Nikolai quickly jumped into the car and started the engine. He revved it up like a race-car making it give a booming roar and then slammed his foot on the gas pedal. The car gave a loud screeching that could be heard from the car's tires and drove the car straight towards the Top planning to ram the villain at top speed like a deer being hit on the road, Nikolai was going to turn him into roadkill unless he survived the hit. The vehicle was far enough for it to hit top speed and Bolt had the car straight on a collision course with Top. "Hay Top! I'm a reckless teenage driver who is about to do a hit and beat the shit out of ya!" Bolt shouted crazily as he was merely several feet away from smashing the Camaro into the villain at top speed.

As the battle raged, Armory did her best to keep up with the others. She hadn't had much... okay, ANY training in the hero arts and was mostly relying on her suit to keep her alive. As such she mostly focused on getting civilians out of the area while dodging bursts of fire. As she hoped around trying to keep from getting barbecued, she became satisfied that there were no more innocents in harm's way and directed her attention to the blazing villain. "Okay, Pal. I think it's time put you down" she said, reaching behind her back and pulled out the handle of a sword, as it unfolded into a full-length katana "You now what they say... Kill 'em with Kindness" she giggled, darting towards Heat Wave while using her great agility to keep his attention fully focused on her while keeping her skin from getting darker "Come on. you big bad super villain. I thought you were better than this? I'm getting bored" she taunted, infuriating the man as he fired another stream of... well, fire. As Armory giggled it off, they both heard something. Something that made Armory stop cold "Mommy! Mommy! Where are you?" Without missing a beat, Heat Wave pointed his gun at the little girl. "Shit, NO!" Armory cried, darting towards the child as fast as she could just as the bastard fired. It didn't take long for the stream of pure heat to overtake her, as she pushed her cybernetics to the absolute limit. But it wasn't enough 'I'm not gonna make it, I'm not gonna make it, I'M NOT GONNA MAKE IT!!!!!!' she cried in her head as she begged for just a little more speed. Suddenly, the back plates of her armor popped open in the shape of wings, revealing six jets. All of which kicked on at the same time, propelling Armory forward just enough as she grabbed the girl and held her close, barely avoiding the flames of hell. Unfortunatly, Armory was paralyzed by a sudden burst of pain from her heart. She was helpless as Heat Wave walked up to her, and without a word pointed his gun right in her face, ready to burn them both alive...

“A bloody cat! You made me do all that for a bloody cat?!” I yell at the mind numbingly stupid old crone who has just wasted three minutes of my life, time that could have been spent on far more valorous endeavours, saving her overweight tabby. The nerve of some people! She then insists on stuffing a five dollar bill into my hand, instructing me to ‘share it with my friends’ before making her long overdue escape. I am starting to hope that the Rogues win this particular encounter, if only to put an end to my suffering. A quick scan of the battlefield tells me that crowd control has been taken care of, the unwashed masses finally getting the idea that hanging around here could be disadvantageous for their continued wellbeing. Captain Cold, leader of the rogues, is down, Hellfire standing over the villains prone form like some Homeric hero, standing proud in his victory. . . And Fenrir wants me to watch over him! He appears to be one of the few competent members of this group I am forced to work with. Case in point; Bolt. That knuckle dragger, graciously joining us in the teleporters instead of driving here (Never mind that teleporters are far more efficient, eco-friendly and [I]quicker[/] mode of transportation.) quickly decided that blasting foes with electricity just isn’t ostentatious enough. No, he had to jump into the closest overpowered muscle car, rev the engines then attempt to commit vehicular homicide. Doesn’t he know that Top has no superhuman defences, other than ‘spinning real quick’! Or that the average weight of the vehicle he is currently driving, with driver, is just under two tonnes. Or the mass of that vehicle, travelling at those speeds, will be more than enough to kill Top! “Move Top, bloody move!” I begin yelling. Yes, I am aware that I am helping the villains. Its not that I particularly care for Top’s continued existence. It’s just the sheer stupidity being showcased here offends me. If I am to be a member of Young Justice then the team must show, at the very least, a sliver of awareness for the powers they possess and the responsibilities they shoulder. (Perhaps more important is the fact that I hate today’s vulture-like media with a passion unrivalled, and the thought that such a catastrophe would provide them with such newsworthy stories sickens me.) Of course I am distracted from my course by the ongoing battle between Heatwave and Armoury. Miss Tea has got herself into a spot of bother, staring down the barrel of the unimaginatively named ‘heat gun’. As I said before I hold no grudges, but now I have a choice. I can either continue trying to get Top’s attention and get him to move, or I can intercede on the behalf of the team mate that earlier found cause to strike me. As loathe as I am to admit it, that isn’t really much of a choice. I kneel and retrieve a small rock from the ground, the perfect size and shape for ‘hucking’ Deduction; Top will very likely die, but Armoury, and the child she is protecting, takes precedence. I throw the stone, my aim sure and true, a high pitched ding alerting me to my success as I hit Heatwave on his helmet. Success! The villains attention has shifted from Armoury. Unfortunately he has found a new target. Who? Well, that is the Question, isn’t it. “Damn,” I sigh as the pyromaniac bears down upon me.

As Kendra made her escape from the room, she didn't miss the Question's implication, and once again she felt the sting, though did her best to hide the emotion as headed for her quarters, practically slamming the door behind her as she tried to recompose herself. "Damn..." she hissed, placing her face in her hands. If she could of, she probably would have screamed in dismay as feelings of incompetence washed over her. As much as she hated to admit it, Question was right. She should have seen the danger, she should have seen Ditto getting attacked, she should have warned him. But no. She had been too busy focussing on Mammon and her future. For at least a couple of minutes, she just stood in the darkness of her room, wallowing in momentary self-pity and cursing herself again and again. She wouldn't allow herself to cry, but she would allow herself to have this tiniest moment of weakness. She deserved that at least, right? After a moment, she felt all the emotions melt away and it left with a sense of eerie calm. Get yourself together, Kendra! she told herself, lifting her face up and taking a deep breath. You're no use to anyone like this! She flicked on the light and headed over to the large suitcase where she stored her armour and her spear, currently in its harmless sleep mode. She began getting changed out of her old costume and into the new and improved gear provided by the Amazons. She tied her hair, previously worn long and down, and tied it into a single long plait. For a moment, she analysed her form in the mirror and stared at herself with a determined expression. "Get your head in the game," she told herself sternly. She then picked up her weapon out of her suitcase. In it's sleeping form, it didn't look anything like a spear. It was a metal cylinder, about the same size and shape as a can of baked beans. It made it far more portable and easier to carry around that way. "Alright," she muttered, nodding to herself. "Let's go kick some ass." She then headed out of her room. Some time later... As soon as Kendra stepped onto the battle field that was the streets of Star City, she felt surprisingly better from previous state. In fact, she felt eerily calm, with almost a tiny thrill her heart at the prospect of fighting once more. She hadn't done any real fighting since the Tomorrow Woman incident, and that small childish part of her that desired a taste for danger was ready to make up for lost times. Just as she was about to pick a target and rush into the chaos, she noticed something that... she didn't expect. Armoury, who had only a couple of seconds ago had had Heat Wave's gun pointed at her, was rescued by, of all people, the Question. What made this even more bizarre was how he had 'saved' her was by throwing a rock at Heat Wave, causing the villain to turn his attention to the Question. Kendra would have laughed at how badly handled that move had been had this not been such a desperate situation. Great, I'm going to have to save his butt, aren't I? Kendra thought bitterly to herself as she glanced around at her teammates, all of which were preoccupied at the moment. Oh well. At least this would give her something to mock him for later. Kendra held up the cylinder and muttered a command in greek. "ξυπνώ." Awaken. The cylinder shifted into its true form, the spear. Of course, throwing it at Heat Wave probably wouldn't be the best idea, as it would most likely kill him. So instead, Kendra muttered another command. "αμβλύς," she said, meaning 'blunt'. The point on the spear instead became blunted, very unlikely to piece Heat Wave's skin or cause him fatal injury, but enough that throwing it at him would definitely hurt. She threw the blunted spear at Heat Wave, causing him to stumble back slightly and temporarily distracted him as Kendra rushed towards him, quickly placing herself in between Heat Wave and Question. Kendra brought up her hand. "έρχομαι!" she called. The spear, which had previously fallen to the floor, suddenly rose up and flew to its master's hand. Kendra grabbed it. She then glanced quickly over her shoulder at Question. "You know, for a guy who claims to be smart, that really was a dumb move." Yes, it was petty, but she just couldn't help it. Kendra then glanced over at Tea. "Armoury!" she called to the armoured girl. "Get up! Get out of the way and get that kid to safety!" She got into a defensive stance. "I'll take care of this one." She gave Heat Wave a steely glare before rushing at him, now wielding her spear as if it were a bo staff. Heat Wave tried to aim a blast of his gun at her, but Kendra, thanks to her danger sense, dodged and quickly lunged forward, striking Heat Wave right in the stomach, winding him and stunning him for a second. Kendra then crouched down and aimed a kick at his legs, knocking them out from under him and causing him to land face-first on the ground. Kendra then walked over to him and pointed the end of her blunted spear at him. "I suggest you drop that gun and stay where you are," she muttered.

Tori had hastily returned to her room upon the sound of the Alarms blaring, Although it was best to get to the main room where no doubt the others would be, The Tamaranian knew it was best to gear up as quickly as possible and then find out where she would be needed, Her first real emergency since her arrival to earth and one that deep down hoped would be at least a success despite the lack of time with the team along with the newcomers. Her arrival was late because Tori could not find her ring for flight, She had to remember for future reference to keep it in a better place to remember. By the time she arrived Ditto was coming too with one of his duplicates and immediately she was concerned for the leader all the while the rest of the team had gone ahead which also meant she was late. Tori did not get a chance to see if he was alright as he mentioned the other did indeed go ahead and they needed to get there fast to which she nodded in agreement. Moment's later... To say that it was a battlefield would be a pretty accurate description, The young Leaguers were engaged by multiple villains and were spread pretty thin, Civilians were still getting evacuated while vehicles and all manner of other properties were being damage from what originally was no doubt meant to be a simple bank robbery. Soon enough though it appeared civilians were clear after Ditto assessed and made some tactical orders to gets things under control. Nodding to his plans she went into battle to aid her team mates. Once into the thick of the chaos which was the best way to describe what was transcending in front of her, She assessed the situation to where the team may need her most. Hellfire seemed to gain the upper hand on Captain cold, surely it would not be that simple, but maybe the Villain underestimated Hellfire hopefully the guy does not get second wind on her team mate. It looked like thing would get more under control as she assisted the team where she could but some factors just could not be accounted for like Bolt... Why was he getting into a high performance car? In the middle of a fight to! Starbolt really couldn't understand the things people do on this planet as she still had much to learn. Armoury on the other hand was engaged with Heat wave. Soon it all went down hill from what the Tamaranian could see, A little girl had come out looking for her mummy, No doubt the poor little thing could not understand what on earth was gong on, fortunately Armoury saw this and move to save her but at the sacrifice of something going wrong with her armour? Heat wave was ready to burn both alive, Starbolt could not let this happen. Also around this point she noticed the Bolt guy driving the car really fast at Top, A villain with some sort of whirlwind ability... She was not sure but she soon realised the guy would not survive and the Bolt would end up killing the guy! She looked between the two torn to which way to go. Soon Question came to armoury's aid with a stone of all things.. A brave move but one that now put him in trouble.. Tori was going to aid them when she noticed Kendra step in to help this freed up Starbolt and gave a chance for that girl to be saved from that monster Heat Wave. That loud engine.. Yes that was right Bolt was going full steam at Top in that vehicle, If there was one thing Tori learned quickly from Wonder Woman was standing up for what was right and what the league stands for. 'We are not murderers' She thought to herself looking over at the vehicle assessing if she could do it, could she save the enemy was it the right thing to do? She looked around for anyone to help with her indecision. Looking over at where Question and Co was, seeing that girl she knew what needed to be done her face showed it, If she went to save Top, there was not enough time for her to get out of the way herself. Taking a deep breath she turned round, putting her attention on Top, Quickly she to a few steps before taking to flight to get to him as quickly as possible, It was to be a very close call but without though or hesitation she got to him. Quickly landing next to him with a shout of 'Hey' to get him to spin around, Using the momentum from her flight along with her strength she kicked Top in the gut sending him flying out of the vehicles path and her taking his place. She attempted to get out of the way herself but there was no time, the gap was to close and Bolt was going to fast. Tori awaited for that split second of the inevitable and the car hit her full on and getting taken out where she left out a short scream from the initial impact with her side because of the pain but that was it after that as she went over the car, The side of her head and right shoulder clashing and making a massive crack in the glass and dent in the roof from her armour which went inwards into her shoulder from the impact. Her body was limp at this point, Her arms and legs flailing a bit as she made contact with the road rolling a couple of times before coming to a stop, Tori was lying there, No sound was made as her body was motionless, god knows what other injuries she got but Top recovering from her kick found it funny... Hopefully the media had not caught that.

"Are you dense or something? How stupid are you?!" Dana's shout pierced the air before she immobilized Bolt's vehicle with a quick uppercut motion of her arm that erected several stalagmite-shaped spikes from the earth, which both impaled and immobilized Bolt's car. She scowled at the "hero" before glancing around at the rest of the chaos. Their team lacked cohesion and teamwork. They could fix that later. Miss Mountain ran to Tori's side. "Are you okay?" She asked the Tamaranean softly, her tone sounding like a young sibling who had just accidentally hurt his older brother and knew he was about to get punished. Although this was not the case, she was deeply concerned for her teammate's well-being.

Downtown was a mess. Two banks in rubble, debris spilled everywhere onto the streets, upturned cars, civilians in the mix. Thankfully, Ditto had started taking care of the civilians, and barked out orders to the rest of the team. "Frostbite, contain Girder! Hellfire, do something about Cold's new arm! Everyone else combine your efforts to put out the fires of Heatwave and knock the Top off balance!" Frostbite glanced at Girder; what a giant. What was he, 8 feet tall? Well, Frostbite decided, if he could punch out Cinderblock, he could sure as Hell take this one down. He cracked his knuckles, followed by his neck. Maybe he'd get his interrupted training after all. The transformation happened quickly. Frostbite coated himself in thick layers of ice, surrounding his body entirely to form the shape of a hulking, monstrous ice golem. He easily matched Girder's height now. Frostbite charged at the metal man, catching him off guard, and slammed him in the side with a punch. It pushed Girder back a few inches, but his focus was now completely on the icy monster next to him. Girder suddenly spun around and walloped Frostbite in the side of the head, knocking him onto the ground. The metal behemoth retreated, and picked up one of the upturned cars on the side of the road. He threw it at Frostbite, who barely rolled out of the way. Frostbite ran up to Girder with another punch, but the villain caught it in his hand. Frostbite went for a gut shot but that was caught as well. Girder smirked. Frostbite returned the smirk as he went for the old knee-to-the-groin, which was only met with a loud "clang!" Balls of steel. Girder headbutted Frostbite onto the ground. He didn't get up. When he came to, it seemed Girder had started moving towards his team's other assailants. Frostbite stood back up slowly, and smoothed over the cracks in his armor with a fresh coat of ice. He shook his head briefly, gathering his strength, before runnning up to Girder. Frostbite delivered a massive punch to the back of Girder's head, knocking him down. Frostbite flipped him over, kneed him in the gut, and started beating on his face. One savage blow after another, after another, after another until he was on the brink of unconsciousness. Frostbite stood up, and pulled Girder up by his neck, holding his battered face up close. "Remember this. Remember me. We're Young Justice. Stay the Hell out of our city." Frostbite slammed him onto the ground, knocking him completely unconscious. Breathing heavily, Frostbite looked at the scene around him. The battle was winding down, it seemed. He hadn't paid much attention to the rest of the fight in his pre-occupation with Girder, but it was done.

Armory opened her eyes when she heard the soft "thunk" as a rock landed next to her. Wildly looking around, as best as possible with the pain, she saw... Mouth? In a throw position? Her armor quickly tracked the arc of the rock and sure enough, he threw it. Heat Wave quickly turned his attention to the man with the blank face, but suddenly Cassie was there too! "Armoury! Get up! Get out of the way and get that kid to safety! I'll take care of this one". Not waiting a second, she pulled herself to her feet and dragged herself over to a nearby alleyway. They made it to the other side when a hysterical woman ran over screaming "REBECCA!!! REBECCA!!!". She grabbed the girl and held her tight. The reunion was touching but Armory had to get back "You two take care of each other" "Thank you, Robo-Lady" "Hehe... It's Armory" she called over her shoulder as she headed back to the battle. By the time she got to the other side, the pain in her chest had subsided to merely a dull throb. Running a short diagnostics test, she found nothing to worry about with continued physical activity. Which was good because she was PISSED the fuck off. Reaching down to her left cuisse, out popped a sub-machine guns. Already loaded with non-lethal rounds, she considered switching them briefly but the thought left quickly as she saw Cassie take down her target. She wasn't gonna lie, she was extremely disappointed. Still, she holstered her weapon and walked over to her teammates. "Cassie, Mouth. Thank you for your assistance" she said once within earshot. Looking down at the asshole lying on the ground, a devilish thought peeked it's ugly head into Armory's brain... and she took it. Once she was close enough, she "tripped" and "stumbled" forward a bit, hopping on her (now cleated) right foot a few times... before bringing her entire armored weight down on Heat Wave's balls. The scream was quite impressive AND satisfying...

Bolt was ready smash the car into the criminal when one of his teammates knocked Top out of the way of the oncoming Camero and got hit by the car instead. Bolt cursed at the turn of events. "I just committed the vehicular equivalent of friendly fire! Shit!" he shouted as the car was then stopped by Miss Mountain's earth manipulation and impaled the car. Bolt transformed into living lightning to escape the car before it was stopped by his teammate. He only stayed in this state for about a fraction of a second since he was moving at insane speeds and it was hard to control. He stumbled onto the ground and quickly got back to his feet. When Miss Mountain began shouting at him and calling him dense Bolt just hunched his shoulders. "Can I get back to you when I have an answer? he asked jokingly. He didn't always think about the repercussions of his actions, he just wanted to beat some bad guys and hitting Top with a car seemed cool, but it looked like his team were spoilsports. No matter he would use his lightning to beat this spinning asshole. "What comes before thunder Top? LIGHTNING!!!" and Bolt fired off a powerful blast of electricity at Top, it wasn't fatal but it was powerful enough to send the villain flying. Bolt gave a happy cheer when his attack knocked the villain. "Yay! I'm the king of heroes man!" he said to Top laughing. When he saw Ditto and his clones he whistled impressed by the hero's powers. "So you're a Naruto fan-" he charged up with electricity. "I was always more of Mortal Kombat fan specifically Raiden, but I think most might view me as more a johnny Cage, must be my damn good looks" he said to Ditto as he took his attention away from the battle going off on a tangent.

"You know, for a guy who claims to be smart, that really was a dumb move." Petty, yes, but perhaps I deserve it. Like or not, Miss Martins did handle Heatwave with remarkable aplomb. Though if I had such a marvelous weapon as her spear I would have no doubt been in a better postion to protect myself. Note to self; Spear responds to vocal commands. Perhaps useful to know for later confrontations. "Ah, but who is to say that you rushing to my rescue was not all part of my plan, Cassandra?" I quip, the slightest of grins on my face that she will no doubt miss thanks to this damnable mask. No doubt she finds my self-assurity infuriating, so I decide to grant her one concession. She did just save my life, after all. "All joking aside, I am most grateful. I must admit my much vaunted intelligence doesn't mean I have much in the way of common sense" I hope I managed to convey my gratitude properly. Not that this means I'll stop trying to uncover her secrets, just that here and now, I am in her debt. Our moment, if indeed we just had a moment, is shattered by a high pitched scream. I spin on my heel, expecting to find a very dead Top and a very jubilant Bolt. Instead I am met with an altogether sight. My mind quickly fills in the blanks as I run towards the scene of Young Justices latest blunder. It seems that Starbolt, our resident Tamarian, took it upon herself to save Top from his grizzly fate. A commendable, it ultimately foolish action. I skid to her side, making room alongside Miss Mountain. Note to self; Admonish Bolt for recklessness later. Suggest disciplinary action and/or dismissal to Ditto. "Miss Toriand'r, are you alright?" I ask, near instantly grimacing at the ridiculousness of the question. Of course she isn't alright, she was just hit by a car moving at high speeds. A regular person would be dead! As it was she seemed to be suffering several grazes and lacerations, a damaged knee and a shoulder that may possibly be broken. Again I am reminded of my shortcomings when it comes to administering first aid to an alien. Note to self; Take alien first aid classes.

Kendra winced at Heat Wave's scream as Armoury delivered, err, a rather crude comeback on her former attacker. Under normal circumstances, Kendra would have scolded her teammate for the excessive show of violence. However, this one had a positive effect as, in that moment, Heat Wave dropped his gun, which Kendra was quick to kick away from the pyromaniac. Still pointing her blunted spear at Heat Wave, Kendra allowed her body to relax. She glanced back at Question with a raised eyebrow. She couldn't be entirely sure, but it seemed that, in his own little way, he had just thanked her for saving him. Though that didn't make him any less an ass, Kendra appreciated the gesture. However, both her own and the Question's attention was turned to another matter as Starbolt, one of the newer members of the team, was hit by a car in an attempt to save Top from Bolt's reckless actions. Kendra found herself wincing again at the ensuing chaos. Question ran over to help Starbolt - an unusually kind act for him - as did many others. Kendra, however, stayed where she was, deciding to keep watch over Heat Wave so he didn't try anything. After all, Kendra knew nothing about Starbolt's alien physiology or what would be the best way to heal the alien's injuries. She'd probably just get in the way. Instead, Kendra decided to concern herself with the health of one of her other teammates. "Hey," she said, looking over at Tea. She could tell the other girl was angry with Heat Wave. "Calm down. He's down for the count now." Her expression softened. "You okay? He didn't hurt you much or anything?"

Tea's anger at Heat Wave quickly blinked out when she heard a voice telling her to be calm. Looking around, she saw Kendra standing there, asking if she was okay. "I-I don't know. I've never really been so angry before. Irritated, yes. Annoyed, yes. But not... spiteful. I... Can you help me?" is what she'd like to say. But considering they had a teammate down, possibly seriously, and several criminals to keep watch over till they could be taken away, now was not the time to worry Cassie with such trivial matters as this. So, Tea just shook her head, trying to clear it "I'm fine. Physically I am okay. Thank you for asking. But what about you? Are you okay?" she asked, rubbing her chest to try and wipe away the remnants of... whatever that was.

It had been roughly half an hour since the Young Justice team had teleported back to their HQ in the middle of the star shaped forest/park of Star City. A handful of Ditto duplicates made sure everyone got what they needed when they arrived as one duplicate got both Starbolt and Supergirl to the infirmary to check on their injuries. The mission didn't get too out of hand, most of the collateral damage was already done by the time the kids in the YJ Program arrived. Though, in all honesty, a lot of the city had rough spots from a few months back during the cyborg police uprising thanks to the robotic President of the United States. Most of the team went their separate ways to their personal quarters, however the original Killian asked Bolt to come with him to the meeting room. The young heroes outside who watched the two enter probably knew what was going to happen... --- "Well, that went well. Another section of this fine city thoroughly destroyed, villains caught and subdued with only the most extreme of violence being employed and one member of our team being put into the medical bay, not through the maniacal machinations of our foes though, oh no! Her critical condition can be lain on the door step of none other than Bolt, our resident psychopath. Call me crazy, but I refuse to work with him any longer. I hurry to catch up with Mr Darukk and the liability. I am under no doubts that Bolt is about to be delivered his 'marching orders' but I resolve to eavesdrop upon the meeting. If it looks like Nikolai is to be let off with a slap on the wrist punishment then I shall burst in through the door and demand he be removed from the roster." thought the Question while lurking around the HQ. Minutes later... Bolt exited the meeting room and knocked a chair over while shouting a few obscenities. "That went well..." the original Ditto thought as the young hero teleported out of the headquarters after his dismissal from the team. Back in the Medical Bay... One of the various Ditto duplicates was tending to both Starbolt and Supergirl. Starbolt having been nearly killed by a car driven by a reckless teammate, Supergirl presumably injured fighting one of the Rogues from Central City. "So, you're Tamaranian and will heal fairly quickly... and you're part Kryptonian so you basically need solar energy..." the duplicate went on, "..so is there anything that I can do for you other than help you to one of the incubation healing chambers or possibly help you to a comfy bed for a little rest?" ~KL~

In the Medical Bay... A half an hour had past give or take since all the fighting had ended and the team was transported back to HQ, Of course all this knowledge was unknown to Starbolt who was out cold from being hit and was taken straight to medical in a critical condition. because of this the Tamaranian was unaware of bolts fate and the fact that Miss Mountain and Question came to her side amidst the ending battle. While she was unconscious Ditto's clone had the task of getting the gold skinned beauty out of her outfit without causing further damage to her and putting her into clean undergarments to keep her modesty and to make it easier to tend to her injuries that he could deal with without the healing chamber, Of course she'll need it though and it is a testament to her Tamaranian physiology that she is still alive for if she was a normal human, There would be no doubt she would of been dead. Tori did regain consciousness briefly though, it was surprising but it was only momentarily as she was in a lot of agony and pain, not fully aware of her surrounding's along with not being able to move. She heard a voice telling her she would heal quickly because she was a Tamaranian and that was about it and she was slipping unconscious again because of her critical condition and thus did not hear Killan's question of Healing chamber or quarters. The damage to her knee and shoulder were severe in nature and the chamber was the best thing for her right now to make her more stable during the healing process. With Tori out once more, Ditto had to carefully as possible without causing further injury of course her the Tamaranian into the healing chamber, weather he did this with one or more duplicates she would never know. But after a few moments of careful moving her, A breathing mask was put on over her nose and mouth to allow breathing and possible sedative to keep her out while the chamber did its work. Soon after she was carefully placed into the Healing chamber lying down on a bed like structure in this rather big tank before being lowered into and fully submerged in the green healing liquid within it. She looked peaceful while it would begin to do it's work, At least she would be in a critical but stable condition.

Kendra wasn't at all convinced that Tea was okay, but she certainly wasn't going to push the point. At least not now, when they had far greater problems to deal with. She spared another glance in the direction of Starbolt, who the others were attempting to transport back to the HQ without causing her further damage. At Tea's question, Kendra gave a grim smile. "You kidding me?" she said. "Compared to my exploits as a solo hero, this is practically a walk in the park." Though it may have sounded a tad boastful, it wasn't a lie. If she had tried to take on a job like this back when she had been alone, she doubted she would have been nearly affective. When Wonder Woman had first suggested she join the Young Justice, Kendra had been skeptical. She thought that being on a team of heroes, some of whom were probably going to be less experienced than she was, would slow her down. And while Bolt's actions had shown the worst of working with others, the speed of how they had dealt with all the other villains, as well as her previous experience in the battle against Tomorrow Woman, had proven to Kendra that there was indeed strength in numbers. --- Upon returning to HQ, Bolt was asked by leader Ditto to accompany him into the meeting room. Kendra certainly didn't need the power of future-sight to know what that meant. As the door to the meeting room was closed behind them, Kendra noted the Question eavesdropping on the meeting. She raised an eyebrow at this, but decided not to comment. After all, this was the first time any of the more recent recruits would have seen another teammate being reprimanded for their actions, and since very few of them knew Ditto that well, they were all probably curious to see what measures Ditto would take to ensure something like this wouldn't happen again. The pressure was on Ditto to show how effective of a leader he was to the new recruits and if he had the strength to make the right decisions when it was called for. And in her mind, when Kendra saw both Ditto and Bolt finally exited the meeting room, Bolt's anger clear as day as he headed for the exit, Ditto had passed the test. As Bolt left the HQ, though, Kendra felt a small sense of foreboding wash over her. While she fully agreed with Ditto's decision to dismiss him from the team, she really hoped this wouldn't come back to bite them all in the ass later on. She wasn't sure what the full extent of Bolt's rage was, but she couldn't put it passed him that he might decide to return one day to enact vengeance upon the team for effectively 'firing' him. Still, there was nothing else they could have done. If today had shown anything, it was that Bolt was a loose cannon, and this team couldn't afford to have any loose cannons. Speaking of loose cannons... Kendra glanced over to Tea. While Tea's actions were hardly on the same level as Bolt's, Tea's earlier anger troubled the soothsayer. One of the strange side-effects about being able to see into the future was that you learned to understand people very quickly, and Kendra knew that most people's actions in the future would be consistent with those they took in the present. Tea was a good person, Kendra knew that, but she also seemed to the kind of person who acted on her emotions rather than on what was logically appropriate. When Tea had been angry earlier with the Question, she had slapped him without a second thought. When Heatwave had attacked her, she made sure he had his comeuppance even though he was already down for the count. Again, not on the same level as Bolt, but that kind of behaviour could be dangerous if it was allowed to go unchecked, both to others and to Tea herself. Regardless, Kendra added both Tea AND Bolt to the list of people she was going to have to pay extra attention to the next time she used her powers. After her negligence to keep an eye on her team earlier, Kendra was going to make sure she did her best to look out for the team. Kendra started to head out of the room, planning to head to the relaxation area and meditate on these thoughts, hoping some helpful visions of the future would come to her that would shed some light on how she should further proceed.

Bolt exits the room like a (pardon my pun) lightning bolt, yelling obscenities and threats as if he's a villain in a poor quality comic book or Bond movie. And who knows, maybe he one day will be? Perhaps this episode will be the beginning of his 'descent into darkness'. It certainly appears that he has the personality, and mental instability, that the role would call for. It certainly wouldn't surprise me overmuch if we find ourselves at odds with the young electrokinetic one day. Oh well, mayhap Starbolt will get her chance to see how much he enjoys being hit by a speeding car. I saunter into the meeting room, wanting to get a gauge of how Ditto is dealing with the situation. My philosophy has always been that people reveal themselves most truthfully when under stress, so now would be a perfect time to get a reading of my new leader. "I must say, I am almost impressed. I wasn't sure if you would have it in yourself to dismiss our former teammate like that. Early reports indicated you used to be a bit of a people pleaser. I'm glad to see that is no longer the case. Better to keep your mind on the mission at hand, yes?"

Upon returning to headquarters, Tea rather quickly excused herself from the group. Ashamed at her juvenile behavior back in the park, she retreated to her room. Removing her armor, she placed it on it's mannequin and began a diagnostics check. She was curious about these new wings and jets (actually, they had probably been there the whole time), and the painful effect they had on her. But if she was being honest, she just wanted to be alone and get her mind off her disgraceful behavior. While it wasn't as anywhere near as bad as what Bolt had done, she still felt like she had acted like a child. She was supposed to be a superhero, dammit. She should be better than this! "Graaah! I'm supposed to be getting my mind off this!" she shouted, shaking her head. She gave a heavy sigh, and returned to her armor, plugging it into her computer to try and find out what was wrong...

Kendra sat herself down on one of the couches in the relaxation area, taking a deep breath as she leaned back slightly on the seat. She suddenly felt very exhausted and, for a moment, and wondered if it was such a good idea to be straining herself again. Not only had Cassandra taken down a supervillain today, she'd also tried scrying earlier, and the pain that the attempt had brought the hero was still seared deep into her memory. The blonde shuddered slightly. No, she thought to herself. It's not going to be like last time. She brought up her legs and got herself into a cross-legged position. Kendra would just do a general search, just like she had done many times before. She would try and see what the near future held for her teammates. She wouldn't focus on anything in particular, especially not Mammon. Just a general search, she reminded herself. The hero shut her eyes. For a long moment, she sat there, thinking, focussing, with not even the slightest flicker of an image in her mind. Then, slowly, she began to see pictures, blurred pictures of a city. The picture was hazy, a layer of some kind of interference playing over it like static on a TV screen, so it was difficult to identify. Despite the fact she was seeing the image in her mind and not through sight, she still scrunched up her eyes, as if that would make a difference. Kendra waited for a moment to see if the static would clear, but it remained. Come on, Kendra thought to herself and tried to focus, to hone in on the slightest detail. Her powers had shown her this place. There must have been a reason. As she tried to zero in on the vision, the 'static' started to worsen, a loud crackling sound resonating in her mind, getting louder and louder until her head started to ache. The noise unnerved her, but she wouldn't give up. Focus, Kendra! Focus! the hero scolded herself. The moment those words entered her mind, the image of the city suddenly burst into a flash of red light, the scenery shattering and fragmenting into thousands of pieces before slowly pulling itself back together again. Now, Kendra could no longer see a city, but instead a room. A red room. Before Kendra could even process what she was seeing, the image changed again. More red. Why was it so red? Again, the scene changed before Kendra could think of an answer. The next image made Kendra's body tense up and a slight wave of nausea built inside her stomach. An arm lying limp on the ground, stained a dark red. She couldn't see the body it was attached to. Maybe it wasn't even attached to anything at all. The very idea made Kendra's stomach lurch in disgust. Next, she thought, hoping she wouldn't see anything more graphic than that. The next image was nowhere near disturbing as the last, but it was confusing, and accompanied by a powerful feeling, like a fire burning deep inside Kendra's chest. It depicted an object, one that was both familiar and alien to Cassandra. A ring, like the ones the Green Lanterns wore. Except this one bore an unfamiliar symbol. And it wasn't green. The scene changed again for a final time, now revealing a man, one whom Kendra didn't recognise. He looked frightened and seemed to be talking to someone- no, begging someone. She couldn't hear what he was saying, nor could she see who he was talking to, but she could feel his fear, so strongly, almost as if it were her own. In a final flash of red light, the vision ended, and Kendra's eyes snapped open. She gasped for breath, like she had been drowning and had just managed to swim upwards and break past the surface. She sat for a minute or so, trying to get her breathing back to normal and calm the fast thumping of her heart. She wasn't sure what she had just seen, but it was bad. She had to tell someone. She had to tell Ditto. Slowly getting to her feet, Kendra began to make her way down the hallway, back towards where she had last seen their leader. When she made it to her destination, she found the Carggite conversing - if that's what you could call it - with the Question. Suppressing a grimace, Kendra marched up to the leader and said, in a grave tone, "We've got trouble."
