I don't mind him getting slapped or hit, but if someone used their powers to mute him then I might have a problem. Hitting is fine
Um... what the hell superpower do you think Tea has? She a technopath with technokinetic abilities... that are limited to her own body. And she's a cyborg. I was talking about her using the cybernetics in her head to turn her auditory receptacles off in regards to Bolt. Meaning TEA won't be able to hear him. Everyone else still can. Before you go on a tangent, make sure you know what you are talking about. Yes, say Tea wanted you to shut up so she broke your jaw, wired the hinge shut and sewed your lips together. THAT would totally be out of line and against the rules. But affecting MY character to ignore YOUR character is not against the rules.
"Affecting other players characters"? What? Are you serious? Interaction between characters is extremely important, things like that boost character development. Obviously everything we do "affects" your character, you can't just join a thread with young adolescent hormone-fueled superpowerul teenagers and expect to not get in trouble occasionally. It's not like there's any rule that implies that your character is invincible, because if we can't slap Bolt in the face than that is awful. Honestly, getting a slap in the face should be the least of your worries right now, you just ran over your teammate with a car and didn't even stop to think if she was okay. You should get blasted through a window for that, honestly what you did was extremely reminiscent of the Joker. Crazy guy slamming his foot on the gas of an extremely fast car, which would've murdered Top in cold blood if Starbolt hadn't intervened. In the real Young Justice, you would've been expelled for the team and labeled a villain if you pulled that. The reason I'm pissed is because you thought you were immune to a slap in the face after nearly committing vehicular manslaughter... So yeah, /rant.
...but I will admit I found Bolt comparing himself to Johnny Cage funny.
Okay... Sugar? Calm down. We don't need to fight amongst ourselves.
Dude read my post, I was referring to characters using their superpowers to mute him
Dude? Chill the fuck out. This is getting way too out of control over a simple miscommunication anyways.
She didn't have to knock Top out of the way
Being a hero, not a murderer... yes she did. That was a really stupid thing for you to try to do. I get wanting to toe the dark side while role-playing. There's freedom in it... but maybe you shouldn't have made a hero who is willing to murder in a DC universe. Marvel, sure, they kill no problem. But DC? Yeah... not so lenient. Just look at your avatar.
Right, I'm struggling with a dilemma. I can't decide how I'd like to develop Q with regards to his combat capabilities.
Either I can 1.) Have him realize his shortcomings and resolve to become a better martial artist, more in line with the Vic Sage version of the Question. If this was the case he would conceivably need a teacher, preferably picking one of our characters to train him, Mr Miyagi style.
Or 2.) Give him a more occult slant. He could pick up some petty mysticism and magic powers, all self taught. He would then function as more of a trickster on the battlefield, using illusions and basic spells to misdirect and debuff his enemies.
What d'yall think?
I vote Mystic because I want a Loki I can smack for being too goddamn sexy and stealing all the ladies! Even if Question himself isn't all that sexy.
