[IC] Code Lyoko: XANA's Return

Garsin nodded as he listened to William. "Well then, I guess for starters I could ask who exactly are you, or why did you choose me? And to top it off, how is it that I can see? Not, that I am complaining about the last one, mind you." As he became more relaxed, the cello came to rest at his back, hovering just behind him while the bow faded away with a soft glow.

[Teknonick]

<Garsin>:
"I am just another kid that went to Kadic Academy. My, 'friends'... the one's that disappeared along with me... we discovered a factory not far from the school. Or should I say, they found it. They found a Supercomputer there, which is what's creating this world here. It also hosts an evil artificial intelligence, known as XANA. They would come to Lyoko to deactivate towers to defeat XANA, as XANA would use them to attack the real world. Eventually I joined the group, and helped them fight XANA... but I was captured, and forced against my will by one of his monsters to fight for him. I've since broken free, and now have a vision of my own. I'm not sure where the others are, but something had happened to us right before they managed to shut down the super computer. I suppose they succeeded, and that's what happened... I came back when it was turned on."

"I chose you, because I know you. I thought you could be of help, and that you remind me of myself a little bit. You're blind, so you were most likely left out of groups in the past... like I was. But I don't only choose you, I'm choosing everyone. My goal is to use these towers to show everyone the future, but it will take time, and before that I need someone that can help me do it until I figure out how to spread that far out into the world. One of the other kids that was sitting at the table... Sam... I've chosen him too. I would have chosen other's as well, but the tower is drained, so I have to find another tower to activate, before we may continue."

"Why you can see... I have no idea. This world, Lyoko, it's powerful. XANA can attack the world with it's towers, and cause unreal things to happen. Perhaps the computer has seen your problem, and somehow has managed to fix it? It might only be why you are on Lyoko, however. Again, I don't know exactly, I haven't been on Lyoko as long as the others have, so they might actually know why." William said. He then walked up towards you, and raised a hand onto your shoulder. "I am glad you are here to help. I'm afraid there are others on Lyoko, however. I don't think they will believe in our vision, and they must be stopped. But we can't kill them, and we can't shut down Lyoko... if we shut it down, then we won't have access to the towers anymore." he said, stopping as he felt something. "A tower has been activated. And not by me, but by XANA." he said, taking his hand off and walking a few steps in the direction he felt the pulses coming from. He shot out his hand, and summoned his giant sword. "Any more questions?"

"I believe the other questions can wait," Garsin replied as he felt the sense of urgency. He pulled the awkward yet nicely colored shirt off and tied it around his waist instead, then looking at William, "Not my first choice for clothing for sure, but I'm liking the colors." he said with a bit of a smirk as he started to follow William's lead.

Bella landed on her feet now that she knew what to expect upon entering Lyoko. It looked no different from the last time they were there; she wondered how Aelita had figured out about the tower. She glanced up as Flippy materialized in the world after her. Okay, south-west, Bella thought. How were they supposed to tell direction here? It looked like they had appeared on a side path though since she could see a larger one in the distance, so she began following it, assuming that Josive would point out if they started going in the wrong direction.

Sam shook his head. "I'm fine, I just gamed a little too much. I'm Sam by the way." He then took the last bite of his meal, and stood up. "I'm off now, but I see you later, okay?" He walked out of the cafetaria, thinking what of he just thought he saw. What was that? Lyoko? XANA? What was this all about? And before he knew it, Sam was in the woods. How did I even get here? Whait, this place was the one I saw back in the cafetaria! He followed the way he was going, and found a sewer grate. Down we go... Sam thought. He got down, making sure he closed the grate behind him. He picked up one of the skateboards and used it to follow the sewers until he found an out of place door. He didn't know how, but he got the combination right and found something that looked like a lab. "Hello? Anyone there?" He investigated further when he saw 3 giant pods, one of which was open. He got into it, looking what was inside it.

Flippy did not quite have a landing down yet it still was a weird feeling being virtualized. So he hit the ground with a thump instead of having a graceful landing like Bella, but he was able to get up quick enough to catch up to Bella. "So we find Aelita and track down a red glowing tower seems easy enough. Just remember I need your help in combat." Flippy said to Bella while they were trying to find Aelita.

[Gambit]

"Yep, I've got your back," Bella said, grabbing her brush and pallet. "Come on, lets find Aelita and get this tower down before anything happens in the real world." Bella hurried down the path, keeping her eye out for any monsters on the way. So far they were quiet, but she didn't know if that was simply because she and Flippy hadn't been detected yet or if they were walking into a trap. Either way though they still had to keep pushing forward.

{William} <Garsin>:
William smiled at your mention of liking the colors. "Heh, wouldn't be my first choice, but then again, they're not my clothes." he said as you both sprinted along. After a long run, you two both eventually another tower, but instead this one glows blue. He came to a stop before it, and waved his hand too it. "This is a way tower, it'll take us to another sector. We just walk through the walls, then drop down too the other side." he said turning and walking through the walls.

<Sam>:
After you stepped into the scanner, the doors closed and it started humming. It's automatic process started on it's own. You started to feel weightless, before a bright white flash, and a crash as you landed hard on the ground. It... looked... like you were in a video game. A big desert, with plateaus and jagged rocks. The world didn't seem natural either. There was a lack of air, or temperature.

Sam wears a gray shirt with a black jacket with a hoodie, black wraps around the arms. Baggy gray pants. Black boots.

Sam's weapon is a bow, wit two blades sticking out of either side of the bow. When Sam's personality flips, the bow starts to disintegrate and the two blades on either side turn into daggers.

[Josive] {Maya} <Bella> <Flippy>:
Bella and Flippy continued on their path, approximately south-west. Aeilta met the two of them midway, and stopped the three of them. "Alright, we need to go this way." she said, waving them after he as she took the lead in another direction. Once the three reached their destination, it was a blue tower. "Hey Josive, what's going on? I feel the tower is here, but all we see is a blue tower. Is that right?" Aelita asked. "Hmm... think so. It says here that's a way tower. Maybe it will take you to the other tower?" Josive replied.

Aeilita waved the others after her, and walked inside of it. She looked around, and felt an urge to... jump. "Have you ever had that urge to just... jump? I think that's what we need to do." she said, walking towards the edge and peaking over the edge. "Well, here goes." she said, leaping off the edge, and arriving on the other side.

Aeilita exited the tower into the Desert Sector, leading the way for the others. "Woah, there's a desert too?" she announced as she took it in. She then continued onward, in the direction she could feel the pulses from.

Wiliam and Garsin exit through the tower, and arrive in the desert sector near Sam. The Lyoko Warriors are nowhere to be seen, on the opposite side of the activated tower, and won't be seen until then.

Flippy followed Aelita till they came to the way tower it sounded ify at first, but he still followed her inside. When Aelita went over the edge Flippy looked over it and saw the blackness at the button. "This seems like a bad idea... Oh well." he says to Bella before falling backwards over the edge.

Shortly after everything went dark Flippy thought he died but that couldn't be because he started to see light. It was the other side or I. This case the inside of another tower. He stepped outside yet again following Aelita, and taking in the view of the new desert area. "Yep, his place has officially amazed me even more." Flippy says outloud.

Sam got up from the ground. He looked around, seeing he landed in a desert. He had no idea what was going on. He felt something on his back, and when he reached for it, it fell right into his hand. It was a bow, but for some reason the string was missing, which was weird as he was feeling it pulling on him just a few seconds ago. "This looks nice." He acted like there was a string and pulled it, and weird enough he felt like there was a string, and when he pulled a but more, he even saw a glow where he imagined the string. He aimed the bow, and imagined an arrow as well, and like the string, a glowing arrow appeared on the bow, ready to be shot. He slowly relaxed the string and both the glowing string and arrow dissapeared.

He grabbed the grip of the bow with both hands. "This is amazing! Is this a dream?" Then, the grip split in two into both hands, and both parts of the bow each could be used as a dagger now. A sly smile appeared on Sam's face. "This is a dream, a dream come true. Now it's time to share this dream." The daggers fused together, and the bow was complete again. Whait, what was that? Sam thought while looking around surprised. He heard someone say something, and the voice sounded suspiciously much like his own, but the last thing Sam said was 'Is this a dream?'

He then saw a tower in the distance, and out of it came two familiar faces. "Garsin! William!" He walked towards the two guys. "What has happened? First I was in this weird lab, and then, poof, I was here!"

Bella walked through the tower with Aelita and Flippy, surprised that they could walk through the seemingly solid walls of the tower. Lyoko certainly was a strange place. She looked around the interior of the tower. Odd, it's bigger on the inside, she thought to herself. Feeling very nervous about the ledge that Aelita had just gone over, Bella nodded in response to Flippy and jumped over after him.

"Wow," Bella said as they reappeared in the desert. She wondered how many new places there were to be discovered in this world.

Celina was running towards school. Great.... she was late for her first class cause of her mother going on and on about making her look perfect. Seriously, sometimes she was a pain with how she wanted her to look. It annoyed her a lot. But she knew she had to get to class. She had to...
"Move along people... theres a investigation... nothing to see here." a officer then said. Celina just stared longly.
"Move along...." he says. Great... either she was lucky and missed a murderer or something like that, or something happened yesterday and with how paper work and everything goes....
She sighed as she then moves and goes to head back home. She then enters and drops her bag of heavy books. Her mother came soon.
"What is wrong honey?" she asks. Celina sighed.
"Schools out, police everywhere around school... im gonna go to town to explore a bit..." she says. Her mother stared at her.
"Alright.. though do call if something is wrong... il come pick you up." she says. Celina nods, having her cellphone in her pocket. She then went outside and breath deeply. She wondered if there were any big forests that she could go check out... There seemed to be one near the school, but it might not be a good idea to go there during the time there was an investigation. She sighed as she then walks towards town. Maybe she could find a store to get a new game... She had her console in her pocket also at the moment. She breath deeply. If nothing interested her, she always could go check the pet shop a bit for the animals. She continued to walk until she got to town, and then looked around for shops. Now.... where would those kinds of stores be.

Now quite hungry, Lino kept an eye out for a meal as he walked through the city streets. The place reminded him of Concord almost. Soon Lino wound up on a busy street, filled with shoppers and merchants selling their goods in little stands. This is my chance, Lino thought as he walked into the crowd and tried to blend in. Stealth would be of utmost importance here. Silently he came up to a stand selling bread and pastries. The merchant was distracted, talking to a potential customer. All he had to do was get close enough, and- Got it! Lino silently cheered as he grabbed the small loaf of bread. He quickly turned and started back on his way, when a vice grip closed down on his wrist. Lino jumped and twisted around. A man glared at him and shouted something in French, gesturing angrily. Panicking, Lino tried his best to get free. If the police heard the commotion, he would be done for. Lino managed to yank his arm free and started running, dropping the bread on the ground. I have to get out of here fast, he thought, his heart racing a million miles a minute.

Garsin was admittedly surprised by being able to walk through a wall, and even more so when it led out into a desert. He then saw someone arrive, a bit wary of him until the person spoke and Garsin recognized him as Sam. He waved to him and replied, "I'm not entirely sure myself. It was the same with me, but look at this! I can see!"

Celina was walking carefully, looking around, looking at the whole town, intrigued. So many shops and choices. At least her parents didn't make her move somewhere out of the middle of no where with nothing around but fields of corn and such. They seemed to have a lot of variety for shops and all. It was interesting. She looked around before suddenly collided at her, making her fall on the floor.
"Ouch! What's the big deal!" she says, as she goes and get up to look at the boy, hearing yelling at a distance. What the heck was going on here.... And what was all that yelling about. She had no idea what was going on here

"Sorry!" Lino said hurriedly, grabbing the girls arm and helping her back onto her feet. He quickly looked back and forth to see if any of his pursuers were in sight. He could hear them getting closer, and a couple sounds of police whistles could be heard. They were getting closer. "Hey, do me a favor, give them a false lead and send them somewhere else when they get over here," he said, hoping the girl would be willing to help. Short on time, he ducked into the closest alleyway and scaled the side of the building next to where he had run into the girl. Now on the roof, he peered over the edge to see what would happen down below.

Celina looked confused, before staring longly, and then some mans arrived.
"Has a boy ran by here?!" the man then said. Celina just looked at him.
"I didn't see anyone... sorry..." she then said, not even having any sign of lying. The man frown a bit.
"Dang it.... where the heck did he go..." the man says, before going to another way. Celina waited a bit before breathing deeply.
"You better have a good explanation for this..." she says without even looking at his way, shaking her head. If he tried anything stupid and think she was a normal girl and that she was vulnerable, he would probably regret it... She already knocked out someone in one hit back then, and she probably could do it again.

"Phew," Lino sighed. Looks like they are off my tail for now. He clambered back down the side of the building and walked up to the girl. "Of course I do, though it isn't as big of a deal as you would think," he said in response. "I got caught taking a bit of of bread since I haven't had anything to eat today. They reacted much worse than I had expected..." he mused. And he still didn't have anything to show for it, he realized. "Dang, I must have dropped it while running," he sighed, exasperated. "Anyways thanks for your help, that would have been tricky to get out of on my own."

Celina stared at the guy and just looked at him, annoyed a bit.
"I am guessing you didnt think about working to get it... but no mather..." she says before breathing deeply.
"You dont really look like the poor type... why even... steal food...You don't have money to pay it?" she then says, looking a bit suspicious at him. Seriously... first day here at this town and she meets someone that stole bread cause he didn't have food... She didn't want to be associate with him, that is for sure. Though one thing for sure, she would be careful with her money and personal belongnings.

"Well, I would work if I could," Lino said, sensing the girl's distrust. "But you can't really get a job if you don't speak French. Or have a passport or visa... I used up the last of my money on food the other day." You know, what in the world was I thinking coming over to this country in the first place? In hindsight he wished he had thought this through a bit more. Any location would be better than this one, especially if he had just stayed in the US. "I'm kind of on my own here, so until I can figure out what to do this may be my only option for the time being."
