Rylan looked up from his work when Andres entered, his brows disappearing behind his messy bangs as they shot up. Wow, really? They were free to go? He felt a little bad for the aforementioned squires, but they probably had more experience with this inventory stuff than he did anyways. He was sure that a couple of them would be able to plow through this kind of work in no time, which left him less guilty than he otherwise would have felt.
"Well, okay," He grunted as he rose to his feet, patting himself off, "If you're sure." A nice, warm bed sounded pretty good right about now, but he wasn't so keen on eating right before sleeping. Maybe he'd just grab some bread? He wasn't particularly picky about what he ate anyways. Moving towards the exit, he paused to pat the knight on the arm. "You get going soon too. And by the way--that's Rylan, not _Sir_ Rylan."
Somehow feeling as if his insistence about dropping the title would not stick, the man left the room. He swung by the mess hall only to grab a sizable chunk of bread, slowly chewing away at it as he head off to the room he'd be residing in for the night.

Thalia let out something that might have been a short laugh at his words, but the light in her eyes gave way to thoughtfulness when he answered her question. "Fair enough, I suppose," She said slowly, carefully considering her reply, "But I don't think it's a bad thing that he's been given the title of 'Champion of Naga'. I can understand not believing in whole 'chosen one' thing, but I'm sure he brings some hope to those who _do_ believe in it. Besides," She slowed her pace slightly, as it was starting to get tiring looking at him from over her shoulder, "So long as we're able to produce the desired results and help the people, that's all that matters!"
If her idealism had not been showing through before, it certainly was rather blinding now. No doubt that this journey would not be as easy as Thalia would have liked, but she seemed more focused on her duties and the end product than the actual process of getting there right now. And speaking of her duties...
"Yes, I am a Ylissean pegasus knight. I--...oh." She cut herself off when they finally arrived at the barracks, noting that the room was filled with squires rather than her traveling companions. With a slow, puzzled blink, she turned to look at Lorne. "...Apparently inventory duty was passed on. Um...to the mess hall, then?" She decided that she might as well grab a bite to eat before retiring for the night as well. She'd have to apologize to the princess tomorrow.
