Glowing from glittering abyss of space, twin dying stars cast their angry light upon a shadowy sphere of poisonous sulfur clouds and raging black storms, known infamously as Nox feri; Tycho’s only orbiting astral body. Nox feri was believed to have been a planet capable of supporting life at one point during its development; massive basins and canyons carved into the dark sands grant hints of ancient oceans now since evaporated into nothingness. Rising fumes of sulfur and Perpetual thunderstorms blotch the skies out, rending what very little light that can touch the barren wasteland. With these deadly elements in mind, it’s a wonder how Nox feri became so desolate and barren. Perhaps the radiation and vigorous stellar activity from the two suns was to blame for the monstrous gales that forever plague the planet. Maybe a prehistoric asteroid collided into Nox feri, releasing acidic gases from within the planet’s crust, poisoning the atmosphere beyond repair. Or it could be the presence of a Celestial facility, responsible for Nox feri’s terrible climate state; a strange sighting confirmed by a scout probe that has lead Vannu Bisara here to this unforgiving rock. Widely known for his scientific prowess in seemingly any field his curiosity may lead him to, Vannu has had many titles, ranging from professor to xenologist. Even for a short time, Vannu was also considered a Vice Commander for the Galactic Coalition. Though his long lifespan now dwindles, his mark on the galactic community may never fade away; a remarkable accomplishment for a member of a species whose existence is only brief. Vannu, like many of his kind, was optimistic and even confident that this incredible find would yield untold discoveries and new perspectives on a mysterious species said to have ruled the entire galaxy and potentially beyond. But the Vexi scholar had to admit that the conditions of Nox feri was going to prove challenging; the constant winds of a nearby storm persisted in safeguarding the ruins with black dust if it was its own by right. Luckily, the excavation crews had since isolated the entry to the facility from the typhoon, simplifying its access for the time being. For weeks, Vannu and his excavation teams had pushed deeper into the ancient ruins, drilling out the both natural and artificial debris long since collected from years of neglect. Despite being without any personnel to care for the Celestial structure, energy still coursed through the facility, powering its most basic mechanisms that unconditionally opened and responded to its new hosts. As to the storms of Nox feri, Vannu later confirmed that the Celestial structure was in fact responsible for causing and actually maintaining these planetary anomalies when probing the core of the ruins. But with one question answered, several others came into being; why did the Celestials construct this facility? For what purpose does destroying the planet justify? What was this place hiding? After descending deeper into the ruins and going against the concerns of some of the excavation personnel, Vannu Bisara was about to find out. Before he and his team stood a mighty gate engraved with that of the Celestial lore and architecture. On board torches from Vannu’s survival suit lit up the colossal structure, holographically highlighting the gate’s interface. With contained glee, Vannu drove his claws through each holo-node, orchestrating the desired countersigns into the gate mechanisms. Responding to the commands, the structure slowly dematerialized through several pocket dimension implosions; Vannu couldn’t help but grin when faced with this glittering sight leaving the team mesmerized. But what became visible on the other side quickly relinquished any positive marvel and awe and then slowly replacing the mood with fear and superstition. When the gate disappeared, the group found themselves looking at pedestal surrounded by only black. The only light source was that of a small object, actively mutating its shape while radiating a deep red glow at the pedestal’s apex. The air was soon filled with inaudible voices, whispering into the ears of everyone in the room. As to be expected, Vannu approached the crimson lighted substance with but with guided intrigue, despite the protests of his fellow teammates. As he drew closer to the light, the darker his surroundings had become and the voices whispered louder over this colleges cries to the point where they had simply vanished from existence. Temptation suddenly evaporated as Vannu quickly realized where he was as his eyes looked down upon the red mass. He turned around but saw nothing but darkness. Concerned, Vannu attempted to turn back but the combined light and the cryptic whispers intensified drawing Vannu’s attention once more in fear for his wellbeing. In an instant, his body was then lifted into the air, sparks violent energy shot forth from the blood red mass, seemingly passing though the protective fields of Vannu’s suit and connecting with his eyes. Images flashed into the Vexi’s mind uncontrollably; scenes of violence rapidly shifted one after the other until everything turned black. Vannu eventually came to, waking to find several worried faces of his colleagues peering down at him. Questions of concern filled his audio lobes but the images he experienced still remained ever present in his mind, leaving him trembling. From the ever present whispers, a single word from nowhere then came into his consciousness as soon as he was able to make sense of them: Doombringer. “Oh dear.” muttered Vannu Bisara. “This is not good, not good at all.” - ------------------------------------------------- - Bathed in the light of nearby nebulae located in deep space between systems, Falymar Station remains suspended, anchored down to the gravitational waves by its local but distant star. Asteroids and debris swirl around the massive city built into the husk of a planetoid once host to now ceased mining operations. Now notable and widely recognized for trading and military warp traffic, starships consistently arrive and leave the station jumping in and out of slipspace. Because of recent events with the outer colonies going silent, Falymar Station how plays host as a springboard for the largest military operation ever seen since the Interstellar War. Asuka, Howling Sun, and Dev’rana; three Skirmish Carrier type warships rest within the massive shipyards connecting to the station city, assembling the personnel and equipment for the large-scale expedition, dubbed Operation Trident. Since the arrival of so many warships, the station understandably has gone silent within the past few weeks; shift businesses and pirates have distant themselves from the now heavily occupied region. Several thousand miles away, the surrounding space twists and contorts before a special seam is then ripped open. A lone vessel materializes from the womb like sphere of its warp bubble, jumping into reality out of slipspace with the light of the pink nebulae greeting its arrival. The cosmic glow illuminates the vessel’s hull, revealing an arrowhead-like form with the name Infamous Alto printed to its starboard and port sides. Inside the vessel, overhead lamps finally begin to burn white into the darkened hallway and corridors after such a long journey. Within the abdomen of the Infamous Alto, a room filled with mist and frosted cylinders, also begins to awaken. Residing in one of the cryo-tubes, a male human slumbers in cryosleep, unaware of the activity outside nor of the glowing holographic eye levitating alone above a holo projector. The iris of this glowing sphere began to rotate, switching directions as it went to work interfacing with the cryotube mechanics. The tube of which the human laid in lurched forward, internal lamps brightening his face and body as it activated. Shortly afterwards, the seal cracked open, vomiting cryogenic gases that kept the man in hibernation. A mechanical limb, built into the tube, stung him with a needle, injecting a stream of green fluid into his veins. Seconds later, he stirred, groaning before exiting the tube. "Welcome back Captain Rayland Sul’tari. It has been one month, seven days, four hours since departure from the Elgos System" said the floating eye. Rayland leaned out of the tube as he held his head, rubbing his over-moisturized eyes. "Current position?" he asked. "The Infamous Alto is currently entering the orbit of Falymar Station. We will be docking with the station in one hour." "Thanks Towan..." Rayland groaned before giving a deep yawn. However convenient cryolsleep was considered, the drawbacks of course were long lasting effects of drowsiness and sense of fatigued even the mixture or stimulants and adrenaline may only address for so long. "I'll be in my quarters dressing up now...Let’s get the rest of the crew up ready; it’s gonna be a very busy day." "Affirmative." Towan replied. (If your character is already a crew member, this is where they will start. Anyone not currently with the crew will start either on Falymar Station or somewhere else of their personal choosing.)

"Advanced Droid Intellegence Mark V, repeat the assigned mission to your unit." came a voice from within the robotic mind of the very human looking android that stood at the docking center from within Falymar Station. What seemed to be a somewhat short teenager slightly feminine looking male, wearing silver armored clothing with pretty white line designs, the only unarmored part of the body being the head which the top was covered with soft long silver hair, pulled back in a loose low ponytail. Slightly pale silky skin, seeming to be carved to perfection, along with a grey cape handing from the shoulders. Everything about this individual almost seemed perfect, from the perfectly straight posture, to the focused blue eyes, to the large sword at the left side of the hip and a gun strapped to the right of the leg. "Await for the arrival of the ship confirmed as 'The Infamous Alto' and register to be a assigned crew member appointed by the Galatic Colition. Serving on behalf of the group, Hybrid. I am to discover, alongside them, the reason for the disappearance of several colonies throughout the galaxy systems. As well as serve with whatever needs the crew members require." The android known as ADI Mark V replied, its internal communication transmitter online in order to communicate with its creators. Its words were quick, clear, and direct. Answering in a sufficient manner that was required and somewhat detailed to satisfy the question. "Very good. Remember to follow orders from your superior officer above all else. You represent us and our work. Do not disappoint us. Logging out." came the internal voice call before a quick beep sound was heard, indicating the person had hung up. "Affirmative." Adi blinked slowly as the call ended, its face neutral as it resumed its walking through the docking center. By its indications, it would not be long until The Infamous Alto would arrive at the station. By the calculations, the ship would dock at Sector B24. Walking along in a calm even stride, the android soon came to a half at the designated docking bay and stood there. Blank blue eyes staring in front of it as it awaited for its assigned exposition to arrive. Hands at its side as it stood there, looking like a knight awaiting orders.

It felt at once pleasing and uncomfortable for Felix to be walking the station halls with so many military officers around him. For his entire career he'd learnt to keep clear of the law, but now here he was on one of the most heavily guarded facilities in the quadrant attempting to pass innocently through the crowd. At least here he knew the Cabal wouldn't be able to find him. "Hey Felix, long time no see." As he heard the languid tones Felix steps faltered for a moment, how the hell had she found him here? "Hi Crystal, how you been?" He asked, turning to see the Cen’turi female leaning out from a shop doorway as his robe flexed around him, the internal sensors unsure whether to switch to defensive mode as his pheromones surged instinctively. Sniffing the air Crystal smiled as her antennae turned towards her prey, "Mmm, good to see you too." She said with a smile, melting out into the street with a grace which made Felix weary. The only time Crystal was ever this nice to someone was when she was moving in for the kill. Turning his body slowly to face her Felix kept one arm hidden behind him as he let his dagger slip down his arm and into his palm. "You know," He began with a smile, letting his pheromones dull Crystal's senses as she stepped closer, "I never thanked you for that night on Hedone. Without your help I'd never have made it out of there." Felix flinched as Crystal reached out and ran her fingers gently down the front of his body, expecting a blade to slip from beneath her figure-hugging bodysuit and plunge into his heart. "From what I remember you thanked me quite enough at the shuttle port," She purred, her eyes glistening as her lips pulling back in what Felix hoped was a smile, "And several times on the transport home." With a sigh Felix let his body relax, his muscles unknitting even as his fingers tightened on his knife. "And now you're here." He said, turning his head to watch two off-duty naval officers walk passed laughing together. They'd complicate matters if he tried anything, witnesses always did. "Now I'm here," Crystal moaned as she moved closer, wrapping her body around Felix in a way which brought back so many good memories. Sliding her hand up his back her mood suddenly changed as her hand snapped up and grabbed his tendril, squeezing it painfully between her graceful fingers. "And because we were so good together once, consider this a friendly warning. The Cabal knows what you did and they know where you are. Stay here, or they'll make sure you never get to thank anyone ever again." Spinning away from him, her arm trailing down his chest for a moment Crystal smiled pleasantly once more. "No offense, but I hope I won't be seeing you again." Before Felix could respond the woman was already oozing her way between the two sailors, both of whom seemed eager to make her acquaintance. Watching her working her charms sent a shiver up Felix's spine, if she got an in with the military then his life would get very difficult. His only chance would be to beat her to the punch. Slipping his blade back under his robe Felix quickened his step as he made his way towards the nearby transport tube. If he could get to the docks he may be able to find a ship suitable for his needs, and hopefully one where the Cabal wouldn't be able to follow.

Rayland couldn't decided whether it was because of the throbbing ill effects of cryosickness after a long voyage or the fact that Towan, the ship’s primitive yet informative computer intelligence had miscalculated the timing of the slipspace jump (once again) and brought the entire vessel within an hour’s reach of Falymar Station; a schedule he was hoping to delay by second hour that was putting him in an already annoyed mood. It was probably both. As usual, he blamed Towan. He knew however he couldn't be hard on the old virtual intelligence; Towan was created several centuries ago, currently obsolete compared to the newer Vis or the much more capable and self sufficient Hepheatons. Rayland considered numerous times of removing Towan from the ship’s main network whenever he couldn't take the program’s unreliable calculations or decisions anymore, but in the end he could not bring himself to do so. Towan was a part of the vessel long before the captain was even conceived and Rayland consciously believed the aged VI, perceived as an individual, had every right to remain on the Infamous Alto. Soldiering through the ever present headaches, Rayland quickly got himself cleaned up and dressed, knowing that he would be needed on the bridge to organize an already fatigued crew to a prepare a transport frigate for heaven knows how many passenger-specialists whom may turn his beloved ship into a science project possibly out of boredom without their interments. Oh god those would need to be installed too he thought. The realization challenged his sanity and deteriorated his mood further; he hoped Kaite had better news. Ah, speak of the devil. Conveniently as Rayland exited his quarters, he found Kaite in his usually officer attire standing just outside, greeting him good morning before giving the detailed status report. An appreciated gesture from the young Chimera, though in all honesty he didn’t know if it was actually morning or not. As much as he would have loved to debate it, there was simply too much think about all ready. “Always good to know that I actually have guns.” commented Rayland to Kaite’s report regarding the ship’s armaments. In most other jobs he has taken on, the main batteries were normally the least of his concerns. Today however he felt that combat was a growing possibility. It was then the two eventually entered into the small bridge of the Infamous Alto. Though unspacious as the brain center of the ship appeared, the bridge however did have plenty of room for several other personnel to staff the consoles and tactical stations. “Captain on the bridge.” Towan sounded off from the local vox, alerting the current staff of their captain’s arrival whom in turn greeted Rayland with several nods and salutes. With a small returning salute Rayland walked over to the captain’s seat and rested into it. He didn’t like this part. With a click, a cord snapped into place with cyber link behind his neck, causing him to wince in slight discomfort as the physical coupling neurologically connected him with the ship’s network, empowering Rayland with the Infamous Alto’s controls and functions. As he finally sat up, the cord followed with him; at this point, there was little he had to manually interact with as his station. Outside sensors brought up the imaging into the bridge; data streamed forth, animating the bridge’s HUD screens until Falymar Station was identified and well within view. Now within only several minutes before docking, Rayland figured it was time to make a ship wide announcement before the eventual arrival. With a few keystrokes at his console interface, Rayland highlighted all vox channels through out the frigate before initiating the broadcast. “Good morning crew.” to the best of his current knowledge anyway, “This is your captain speaking...In a few short minutes we will be docking with Falymar Station to pick up all essential Galactic Coalition selected personnel and equipment before joining up with the main expedition force.” He allowed a brief pause to settle in. “As we’ve gone over plenty before, the Alto will be acting as a temporary troop transport and science vessel for these new crew members we’ll be having aboard so they may operate efficiently during this mission. With that in mind, please take the time to make your last checks for ship wide facility cleanliness and functionality as we make our final approach. That is all.” With that Rayland ended the broadcast before turning his attention to other matters. “Towan, do we have docking clearance?” asked Rayland, his eyes now glued to the cockpit HUD details. “Affirmative. We’ll be docking in Sector B24, Platform 7.” Towan replied through the bridge vox once more. With several taps at his console, Rayland pulled up a course into the station’s docking bay; holographic streaks illuminating the docking path for the Infamous Alto as she entered into the sector. Lurching forward, the frigate was then under the influence of the stations tractor beams, gracefully pulling the Infamous Alto deeper into its structured maw of docking clamps and maintenance catwalks. Though it was below Rayland’s attention, docking and maintenance crews quickly began to position themselves to assist the docking and securing of the arriving vessel. Within moments of its powering down sequence, the Infamous Alto was successfully anchored to the platform as large mechanical arms reached out, holding it in place.

As Adi waited, standing there unmoving like a obedient soldier, the blue eyes only shifted when its assigned vessel arrived at the assigned docking bay. Starting to walk closer as the ship properly docked, the android started to run a brief internal revision on its assigned mission as well as its programming it must follow. Must not misrepresent reality. Must be obedient. Must protect assigned Master. Must follow the law. Faulty Hybrid units must be terminated. All must be followed. There is no exceptions. Hybrid has made very clear, and the unit ADI Mark V would follow absolutely. It was its programming, what else was there? As the ship finished docking and people ran around assisting in the successful anchor the ship. It stood in front of the ships ramp to the door, but it didn't move any further. Blue eyes slightly glowing, the android connected with the ships communications using its wireless communications programming and attempted to make contact. By its calculations, the Captain should still be connected to the ship's network, making quite simple. "Captain Rayland. Welcome to Falymar Station. I am a assigned personnel equipment for the expedition. Permission to board." Adi said, in a calm human like voice. Its voice was not digitized sounding like most robots, even sounding very much like a regular organic. The only thing that most likely gave it away was how neutral and monotone it sounded. Void of emotion and life.

Unexpectedly, a communications channel was being established with Rayland without official notice, though through his connection to the ship's system plexus he could detect the incoming message a few milliseconds ahead of time. Direct to his own vision via the interconnected neural lattice between him and the network, he pulled up the caller's ID profile just as the channel opened. Instantly, he knew it was not the ground crew or a fleet officer as he was almost expecting to call just as the caller's voice patched through. "Captain Rayland. Welcome to Falymar Station. I am a assigned personnel equipment for the expedition. Permission to board." Rather up front this person was he privately thought outside of the plexus connection, especially for someone sounding so young too. Of course given the age he lived in, the appearance and voice of one's self can be easily changed; people's interests can be weird sometimes. In the corner of his eye, he noticed Kaite already leaving his side for the cargo bay ramps, more than likely to greet and take in the new personnel after hearing the terminal vox. "Request acknowledged, please standby. My assistant will be with you shortly." Rayland replied through the communications mesh.

"Acknowledged." Adi responded before logging out of the communication link smoothly with little effort as it awaited for the personnel to come and escort it. It was not long until the ship's door open, revealing a two inch taller organic being. Blue eyes instantly examining and running calculations over this individual, running through databases for information, this was a male Artificial Chimera. Two years of age, only one year younger then itself in creation. He wore the regulated attire, had short white blonde hair, with simaliraly colored bunny ears and tail. As its ID was called, Adi instantly responded by walking up the ramp before standing in front of the organic. "ADI Mark V reporting, I am here on behalf of Hybrid. Greetings to meet you, Kaite Jericho 073." Adi greeted with its right hand over the chest before giving a brief polite bow then standing straight again.

Watching as the rabbit humanoid seemed to lose all such composure after Adi spoke, the android didn't react to it and simply kept its eyes locked onto the organic it was currently speaking to. In the protocol, all organics are above the robot and therefore this Chimera was also its superior, which meant he needed every ounce of obedience and hospitality Adi came with. The android didn't quite understand why Kaite seemed to melting down over his ID assigned name, but it also didn't question it. "Acknowledged. Kaite." Adi confirmed as the bunny chimera requested to be called only Kaite, the android noting this in its memory unit. As the hand was offered, Adi briefly examined it before reaching and firmly gripping the hand and shaking it in a proper firm handshake, though not hard enough to crush it in its armored gloved hand. The android did understand such sentiments of most races, it was part of being programmed as a servent. To know hospitality and be able to perform polite acts. It gave a brief friendly smile on the soft lips it carried before it returned to the default neutral and released the hand. "It appears I'm the first personnel to arrive on time." It noted, considering there was no others waiting with it nor approached the ship.

"Move aside.... Please" The voice was slightly robotic through the helm of the combat suit, Sel's hand coming out to push aside one of the dock workers that had gotten in her way, she didn't mean to push the guy into the near by wall but she had places to be, besides... he was in her way. Stepping onto the elevator with a few cargo transporters she idly read where the cargo was going, and given where they were going to the dock where the ship was docked there was no surprise that one of them were going in her direction.... "Hmmmm~" Sitting on the back of the floating transporter Sel got to thinking about how many times she had come aboard the Infamous Alto with this crew, just this time there was a professional reason instead of the sense of personal adventure that she normally had. Soon enough she arrived at the cargo ramp, hopping off of the transporter and starting to walk inside, passing the pair that were talking only to stop and take a second glance. New arrival? "Hey Katie, and... You"

Riblou felt incredibly groggy. He always felt groggy after cryo sleep, and it made it even slower than he usually was. Where most crew members took only a matter of minutes to work their way to their stations after waking up, Riblou took almost an hour to work his way up to the bridge. In addition to his already prodigious height requiring him to bend through almost every door, his grogginess slowed his movement even further. He also had to get past a fair number of people, all of whom he simply pushed gently aside. As Riblou approached the bridge he really hoped he wasn't to late, normally when he was late to things he got punished, and he really didn't want the captain to be mad at him already. He bent over in order to walk through the small doorway to the bridge and even had to hunch a bit to avoid hitting the ceiling."Am I late captain? I'm real sorry if I am, hyper sleep don't get along with me to we'll you know? And all these doors are so tiny... and I have to be careful of the ceiling and I'm real real sorry if I'm late." He looked around nervously at the others on the bridge. He saw the captain of course, then he saw the robot, he didn't know much about it. Then there was the lady who wore that pretty armor, he hadn't seen her much neither. Then he saw the other chimera, he had big bunny ears and a tail, so Riblou never forgot about him. He smiled at the little kid, Riblou was glad he wasn't the only chimera on board.

As Rayland checked the roster and cargo manifest himself, he heard Riblou squeezing himself through the bridge's entryway. It was obvious that the ship wasn't exactly meant to house the big Chimera during his time of employment. Made sense of course since the Infamous Alto was originally built in the outer colonies of the ATC where people like Riblou unfortunately were not common at all. Rayland admitted that he needed to deal with the archways eventually, that and a few other quirks to be ironed out. "Relax Riblou, you're actually right on time." said Rayland in response to the Chimera's worrying report, his eyes not leaving the main HUD of his console. While still connected to the ship's network, he quickly searched through the security lattice and pulled up one of the sensors visual recordings as a holographic image showing Kaite and Adi outside the ship talking to each other and the now arriving Sel; he would be expecting her to board any moment. While monitoring the loading and restock of cargo, Rayland turned his head to face Riblou at his side. "Go ahead and check to see if Kaite needs any assistance with any of the new crew. If he's fine, I do know we're getting a bunch of analyzing equipment and sensors for some of the science wonks we'll be getting. That and a miniature armory as well...So a lot of stuff to unload and organize. Think you can flex those arms of yours for a bit?"

Riblou smiled a wide toothy grin, he knew how to lift things really well."Okay, captain, I'll go ask kaite if he needs help with new crew, and if he don't I'll go help load the sciencey stuff and guns onto the ship." He nodded as he turned and again leaned low to make out the doorway. He walked down the halls with a bit of a faster gait (about as quick as the big guy could go in the more cramped hallways) now that his grogginess had begun to subside. Riblou finally made it to Kaite and gave a big smile to him and Adi,"Hello kaite, the captain sent me to see if you needed any help with... with uh..." Riblou struggled to remember what it was he was there to help with. He had been so focused on moving the large cargo that he had forgotten."Uhhh... oh! If you need any help with the new uh... crew members!" Riblou smiled, he was proud of himself for remembering what the captain had asked of him.

As Kaite pulled his hand away and wiped it on his uniform, a action that would be considered highly rude in most proper organic society, especially humanoid's in which the Chimera were a part of. Adi would have corrected it if Kaite had done so to another organic, but since it was the android, the very human like machine didn't point it out. However as a armored individual approached and greeted the Chimera and sort of the android. As Kaite gave a similar greeting, Adi then interjected. "It is currently 8:06 AM in the Falymar Station." It corrected the bunny Chimera casually, its voice remaining neutral. As Kaite introduced the robot, and after several obvious reactions, it was quite clear that Kaite disliked robots. There was little to be done however. The oddly moist soft humanlike blue eyes looked to the armored individual and did another quick examination before placing the right hand over the left breast and bowing slightly in greeting. "Greetings, a pleasure to make your acquaintance Doctor Sel'Valrok." Adi greeted politely to the Vexi, another organic individual. The female Vexi was bulkier then most of her species with a few other small differences but was otherwise a definite Vexi. It was then a towering male exited the ship to speak with Kaite. In another quick scan, Adi determined this was another Chimera, but of the ape variety. By what the robot could tell, this organic wasn't quite as bright, but was also still a organic. Doing the same bowing greeting, Adi looked to the big Chimera. "Greetings, a pleasure to make your acquaintance Riblou Karvok. I am the unit ADI Mark V." Adi greeted, introducing itself since Kaite did not properly do it like he did with Doctor Sel'Valrok. Despite Kaite's best effort to whisper, Adi heard the request, but didn't react much to it. It didn't understand why the smaller Chimera had a problem with it, but it also wasn't like it could get upset with what would probably be harsh words and actions. Perhaps if Adi was like the self sustained Haephton, it might be upset. But considering that most emotions were on heavy lockdown, it was mostly impossible.

Riblou's smile was tempered a bit with kaite's seemingly annoyed greeting, though he understood he wasn't always in a good mood. But when kaite tugged on his sleeve, and he leaned down, he smiled after kaite finished whispering to him,"Sure kaite, I can stay and help for a bit! I am here to help after all." He looked at the other two and waved in greeting."Hello Adi. And... uh..." He had forgotten the armored woman's name, but he knew she was a doctor, "uh hello doc! It's good to see your here for if anyone gets hurt. Wait..." He looked down at kaite, "What questions did you need to ask me about?"

Sel stood there as people greeted her, which returned in kind by nodding to Kaite, though she did not respond to the silly name before Sel had long since gotten use to the guy calling her it, not like it made much difference in the end. She moved up to the small group that had gathered, letting down the bag over her shoulder onto the ground where she addressed the new robot crew member. "Yeah, same to you Mark" She shortened the robots name to something more personal, that and she did not want to say its whole name all the time if they were really going to be on the ship together for a while. It was then that another showed up, saying a greeting to her, sure that was the norm but when Ribtou seemingly forgot her name, not to mention her profession, she couldn't help but give out a audible sigh at that. Moving over she lifted up her fist before slamming it into Ribtou's arm, though not with nearly enough force to be considered a threat. "I am not that kind of doctor. Though if you really need it I guess I could try, don't blame me if your dumb ass ends up dead anyway" Lifting the bag back over her shoulder she looked down to the robot for a moment and then to Katie, clearly picking up on that normal dislike of robots that he always had. Thankfully Sel didn't have that same hang up. "I can show him around the ship if you like. You seem pretty busy as is..."

As Adi spoke, Kaite looked away from Riblou, checking the time on their hud. "Oh...it vould appear so" they commented, watching the android almost curiously as if having expected something of its behavior. In truth, the robots which Kaite was first exposed to were little more than boxes on wheels; the humanoid design gave Kaite a feeling of curiosity and, for a moment, shame. He supposed if Adi had been a human, he wouldn't have been so rude...although the chimera had been mostly fooled by their humanoid appearance at first. It was mostly over a name, since being disassociated with feelings was something Kaite could understand. But what was the point of making it look so lifelike? Is it to lull people into a sense of security? Maybe it had been designed to be like a person and, if that was the case, how person-like could it really be? I felt silly with how I acted; the tables were turned and we now kept it...and why not conduct an experiment on it, while I was at it? The only question is where to start... They blinked out of the notes they were taking as Sel socked Riblou in the arm. Kaite was about to make a comment on Sel's actions before they offered to show Adi around the ship. "Ehm, yes. I vould appreciate it, thank you," they instead said, a small sigh of relief in their words before looking back to Adi. "And velcome to zeh Infamous Alto," his tone more confident and concise as ideas swirled in his head, already in the works and hinted to only by the faintest of smiles teasing his expression. "Mostly if you had any kind of dreams...also, heh, if you don't mind me asking where they keep you?" He asked, his mood having taken a sharp upwards swing from only moments ago and his hand continued to twitch from writing down...ideas. Also, Kaite was slightly concerned about Riblou's comfort within the ship, frequently seeing him having trouble navigating doorways. Because of this, the assistant capitalized on the opportunity to let him have a few minutes to stretch outside the ship before getting to work.
