I'm confused. Why is your char being arrested? A wave of fear is sweeping through the city, and pretty much everyone is evacuating the Tall en-masse, and this group of guardsmen took the time to arrest a mildly annoying Reptile Priest?

Well I was trying to connect my guy with your character,If she is the queen or princess of the city then she can employee him to fight the wyrn instead of going to prison.

..... She isn't. She has nothing to do with the government. In fact, she's responsible for the wyvern even showing up in the first place.

Yes, you're right on the money. Not mind control, because I've always found that using Mind Control reduces Agency, but simple emotional manipulation.

I consider it pretty game-breaking if a character can weild that much power, especially since the action appears to have no discernable backlash at all. Working towards a goal and making things happen is great, but just calmly stating that the entire city is in uproar without first checking if that works with your fellow gamers is bad form.

Oh no, not nearly the entire city, I assumed Areapolis was a vast, sprawling kind of place. Just the Tall, and a few areas around it. But I do get what you mean, I'll try and refrain from doing things like that without asking around, first.

Yea...That's just..wowzer bowzers. O.o. I don't really know how to respond to that level of craziness. The floodgates have opened indeed.

It is, that's why I thought it was a bit too much. But even the Tail is big enough for that spell to be overpowered. But let's forget it. We'll work with what we have, like I said :) You're a good writer, so just keep up the good work!

I find that once the situation becomes hectic, it at least gives everyone something to do. I've seen many open-world roleplays die because there were a bunch of really interesting people, effectively sitting around in a bar drinking beer all day. Which gets old fast. So something needs to happen to give people a reason to act, and few things are more provocative than a Wyvern attack.

I have a tendency to kind of test the limits of what is reasonable, see how much I can 'get away with' in terms of people.
