Evelyn - La Fiesta de Idiotas
She felt a little bad leaving behind that sickly guy, thinking she may have rubbed him wrong, but she always seemed to do that to people. It wasn't really her intention to come off as a bitch, but...it just happened that way. The two, her and the bookworm named Lisa, having learned her name, decided to hang out on the school grounds at a little pic-nic area near the main gate. It was already late in the evening, the sun just merely peeking from behind the rolling hills to the west and casting soothing, warm shades of pinks, lavenders, oranges and reds across the cloudless, open sky. Ev stared at the sun for a moment or so, not directly at it since that was stupid as hell, but just at a right spot where her eyes wouldn't be singed...and she could enjoy the picturesque scene for a little. Taking out her phone, she decided to snap a pic of it...just for what it was worth, another to add to her collection of photos, mostly of random stuff like the statues out front of the courthouse or a lunar moth she took a picture of outside the library. She saved the picture and slipped her phone back into her pocket with a sigh, still wishing she had that damn cigarette, but...at least the early autumn air cooled her off, carrying upon it the heavy scent of the pines in the surrounding forest. She wasn't really paying much attention to the bookworm, but then again Lisa did seem more interested in reading.
It was strange to the red-eyed girl. Ev, she did read, mainly Poe, Lovecraft, Bram Stoker, and some Stephen King, just sparingly, but Ev was more of a visual person, she got more out of images than words. Maybe that's why she took some solace in drawing, painting, and even a bit of photography. Standing up to stretch, she heard Lisa say something about a party later. Yay...being around people she didn't like for gawd knows how long, cheap food and probably some derps making fools of themselves on the dancefloor. Yeah, that really sounded better than wasting a night binging on games or shredding on her axe, but then again, she figured she'd just hang out with Lisa most of the time and not have to deal with anyone else. "Eh...yeah I'll go. Ain't got anything else to do tonight except listen to my roomi bitch." She shrugged with her reply. "At six, right? Guess I'll see ya then, Lisa."
Giving a slight wave to the girl, she made her way back to her dorm to get ready, only to discover...Eddie was gone, her whole side of the dorm cleared, except for one little thing...her dragon sketch. "Heh, guess she finally got tired of me..." Ev muttered to herself and closed the door behind her. A plus, seeing as now she had the place to herself again, but...still Ev wished she could've at least made one friend, even if it was Eddie. A small frown curled her lips and she sighed bothersome before taking the drawing down and stashing it away in her own sketchbook. She was pretty sure by tomorrow, they would have a new roommate assigned for her.

After a while or so, Evelyn was already dressed and making her way to where the school was throwing the little shin-dig. She decided to go with something nice looking but it still had her vibe, mainly a short sleeved black dress shirt with a red tie, some black skinny jeans with a long silver wallet chain and a red bandanna sticking out of the back pocket, a silver studded belt with a pentagram buckle and her black and white Converse with red laces. On her wrists she wore her studded wristbands and on her head was a black trilby hat with white pinstripes and a demonic skull printed on the side.
Strolling through the doors with both hands in her pockets and a rather apathetic scowl affixed to her face, immediately Ev was blindsided by it all, the bright lights, the crappy, ear hemorrhaging music, the inane prattling of every idiot that went to this school, and worse.....what the fuck was HE doing here?! Well...anywhere there's dancing, he's gonna show up... Ev assumed. For a minute or so, she looked around seeing if Lisa had shown up. Not yet, but she would probably be here soon. Till then, Ev just camped by the door leaning against the wall and propping her foot against it crossing her arms, still wondering why she even thought of coming to this damn party.
