Nariah stays dedicated to her cause and will fight tooth and nail to defend those she loves and holds dear to her. A bit challenged by her lack of knowledge (yes, she’s a bit dumb), she tends to be folly when it comes to thinking logically, but that’s not to say she is a complete idiot. Born in the snowy and pine covered mountain village of Dunenmer Hollow, Nariah was the daughter of Harken Stormblade, a former adventurer and the village's most esteemed blacksmith. She was a peculiar young lass. Her father would astound and amaze her greatly with tales of his many travels and endeavors, how he fought fearsome beasts and traversed vast and magical realms in his early days. So enthralled was the girl by the yearning for adventure, she would spend her many hours in the surrounding forests, swinging about a stick to the trees as if they were also terrifying monsters being slain by her sharp and powerful blade. Harken was amused by it, but he also saw that very spark in his daughter's eye that he once held, though he was fearful to let his only flesh and blood venture from the village. Nevertheless, he taught Nariah over the years all that he knew of being an adventurer, how to fight and defend herself should the need arise, and when it was best to retreat from battle. Nariah soon became a competent swordswoman under her father's guidance, and not to mention a proficient blacksmith herself, but still the man was afraid to let his daughter go. No matter how much Nariah persisted incessantly on her father letting her leave the village, Harken always gave her the same lecture, Ye are my only kin, and I am not going to let ye run off into danger, Nariah. Ye still have much to learn before I ever let ye venture from Dunenmer alone. The world is a far more sinister place, daughter. Having just a sword alone will not protect you.” It was difficult for Nariah to grasp what her father meant, blame it on her whimsical mind, yet she understood one thing….her father still saw her as a young girl. But dammit, she could fight. She knew the way of the sword and the shield, but her father was just too damn stubborn to let her go. Sooner or later, the old man would have to. How else would Nariah learn to grow? Soon came the day a dreadful earthquake, with such rancorous horror, rattled violently the grounds about the quaint hollow and destroyed many homes. Blessed Tha'agorn no lives were lost in the chaos, but it was certain this was no ordinary tremor, neither was it the hammer of the mighty god of the forge crashing down upon the land. This was spawned of a great and immeasurable evil indeed so. The villagers, they feared for their lives and for those of their kin. Someone must venture out to the source of this madness and deal with it, they said, but Harken, in his gray age could not. It was just as Harken had feared, the burden had fallen...upon Nariah, as did the letter proclaim. Before he sent his daughter off with all of his love and his blessings, he forged for Nariah a sword and shield, worthy of even the finest warrior of the land, and he also crafted a suit of armor for her, and last but not least, a beautiful pendant which the village elder blessed with a protection spell. Finally, he said his goodbyes to his daughter. "Ye be safe now, and be sure to come back and see ye old man, ye hear me daughter?" Heartily he chuckled hugging tight his child, now a full grown woman and the most competent warrior of their village. She had a long journey ahead of her, and the challenges she faced were sure to be harrowing, but nevertheless, Nariah would face them head-on, for the sake of her village and....for the sake of her father. "Aye. I will father." She replied happily embracing the stout, old man. "I'll be sure to send word of me travels as well. Goodbye father." "Goodbye, me daughter....and Tha'agorn keep you safe."

Weapon(s): A longsword and shield forged by her father. She also carries a small war axe as a backup. Equipment: A pendant of protection also forged for her by her father. She wears it at all times. She also carries a flask of mead and a whetstone for sharpening her sword. Also a blacksmithing hammer should the need arise. For the cold, she has a pelt made of wolf fur. Other: Theme 1, Theme 2

She can be sly and secretive when she wants to be, even going as far as manipulating people to do her bidding, or she can be blunt and remorseless, telling it how it is in order to get to her enemy – that’s what makes her words a weapon, because nobody knows the truth about it. Raffy does not like to tell people about her past, mainly because she enjoys the shrouded mysteriousness that it gives her. Name:Finn Icebringer Age: 21 Class: Mage Skills/Magick: Finn can control the four elements as well as things related to them. For example, he can control ice and plant life as a result of his mastery over water and earth. He can also do spells if he has a spellbook and the necessary items, as well as enough time. Personality: Finn is sarcastic and smart, often using his brain to get out of tough situations. He is also extremely loyal, and once he has decided that you're his friend, he will protect you with his life. John is very reliant on magic, often using small, simple spells to do everyday tasks. Brief Bio: Finn has been many places in his travels. Being an elf, he feels alive when he's outdoors and under the stars, and he's never been able to confine himself to one place. He was born in a little elven village in northern Hieledran where his father trained him to be a mage. When he was 16 he enlisted as a battle mage in the king's army but resigned the next year to travel and help the commoners. He lived a life of adventure, fighting monsters and bandits frequently. He received the letter as he was traveling towards Vaele. He had noticed a difference in the once vibrant world, and even in his magic, as if something dark was polluting the universe. Appearance: Stands a little taller than most men, has pale skin and brown eyes. Has squareish features and has long black hair tied in a ponytail that stops between his shoulder blades. Name: Dorje Gyaltsen Age: appears to be in his mid twenties Class: Monk Skills/Magick: acrobatics, unarmed combat, stone lends him physical strength and willpower in times of great need. Personality: While impatient by the standards of his father, Dorje has been known to lose fights while trying to analyze his opponent; he does not usually take action unless action is required. He is intelligent and wise, but does not know much of the outside world other than what the monastery windows showed him. He is a talkative man, but not unpleasantly so. He can be arrogant at times, as he thinks he leads a more pious life than others; but knows how to show kindness to those who need it. Weapons: A short bo staff, which can be split in two to provide two shorter fighting sticks Equipment: Basic necessitites (water, bedroll) Black stone medallion blessed by his father, head monk. {Adelisa•20•Cleric} {Skills/Magicks} Adelisa is one of the strongest Clerics for her age. Her strongest ability is her communication. She can communicate with anything (animals, spirits, other human beings, etc.) She can also heal and bring the dead back to life to do her bidding, but the second isn't as powerful as the first. Her healing ability is up to par while her ressurection abilities could use some work. She is also sent visions. Sometimes they are of others pasts but sometimes they are of the future. Adelisa lets everyone know that the future is not set in stone and that the right choices can lead to a different future than one that she envisioned. {Personality} Adelisa is not like other Clerics. She isn't one to hold her tongue nor is she one to take a hit. She will defend herself and her beliefs of she deems it nessesary. She is very innocent to what people her age did, but she knew the evils the world could bring. Adelisa is usually very quiet about herself and her life before. She doesn't usually speak, but she knows what to say most of the time. She has a short temper, giving her trouble amoungst her fellow clerics. She is very energetic when she is with her friends or by herself, but she is forced to show grace and composure. It doesn't help that she is clumsy, but she can easily pass it off. {Brief Bio} Adelisa was thirteen when a man rescued her and showed her the world of magick. She was a quick learner and excelled in most of her teachings, but her mentor was quite unimpressed by her disposition. She was soon put to work, helping people in need and doing what she was meant to do. She got a letter while helping the poor in a neighboring village and knew her expertise was needed. {Weapon} The sword in the picture. Appearance: Armor Name: Conan Nightwolfe Class: Ranger Skills/Magick: Conan was trained by one of the best Rangers in the land, making him skilled in many of their arts. He is an expert marksman be it with his bow or his knives. As a Ranger he was taught to live off the land and as such has also become skilled in tracking. He has an extensive knowledge of wild herbs and uses them to crafts salves and poisons. He has the ability to "tame" wild animals mostly hunters likened to the Rangers like falcons or wolves. Personality: Conan is the prime example of the hardened Ranger. He is cold and silent like the forest he treks, and ruthless like a hunter whenever he fights. His past and training have left him a hardened man leaving him incapable of thoughts of mercy and some off his actions might be perceived as downright cruel. Of course after living most of his life out in the wild he's very socially inept and when dealing with people he's blunt and straightforward. Brief Bio:

My Hider

Once the proud house of Tranton stood amongst the noble houses of Hieledran until it was betrayed by another rival house. The Tranton's castle was razed to the ground, all their land seized, and those of Tranton blood and all who served them were slain. All save for one boy, The youngest son of the Tranton Lord surviving because of the sacrifice of some of the families loyal retainers and a decoy body leaving the enemy house to believe the Tranton bloodline had been successfully destroyed. Alone the boy wandered cold and afraid through the forest searching for somewhere safe. But he was a child and noble-born he knew nothing of survival or how to fight. He almost met his end many times in that forest until he was found by a hardened huntress who lived alone in their depths. She initially paid the boy no mind, yet with nowhere else to go the boy followed her. After realizing he wasn't going away and perhaps softened to his pleas by her years of isolation, The Huntress took pity on him and took him under her wing and revealed to him that she was once a Ranger. She made it clear she would give him nothing but the knowledge of her craft. Everything else he would work for and find himself. And so began the boy's thirteen year tutelage under the former ranger. During learning everything of the craft and of the forest as he could. He lived in the wild and he learned how to survive in it, and the ranger's sometimes cruel lessons hardened and steeled him into a survivor. At the end of his training, due to his constant time in isolation in the wild and his constant struggle to survive. The boy had forgotten his own name, during his trainer had only called him 'boy' during his training, saying he would be worthy of a name when he had proved himself as a man. The scared noble boy was now a young man, and now one without a name to be called. The Ranger impressed with how far her student had come, gifted him a name upon his graduation. So the enemies of the Tranton got their wish and the last surviving heir of the Tranton had died, Conan Nightwolfe now born in his place.
