"Would you mind terribly if I took some photos from outside?" He asked, as politely as he could manage. It was the only way he was going to be able to do anything decently artistic.
"That's fine. Dont wonder off the path." The councilors told him.

"Thank you." Alex said, heading out of the door to take some photos. Now was his time to shine. He stood outside and looked around. Now he just had to find some decent shots.

Chris wasn't much only an artist person. He looks around the room at the various things that can be used to make a picture, he smiled and thought a bit as he went over to the counselors. "Do we have to make a drawing of what we are looking forward to? Or are we allowed to draw something that makes us feel good or anything that's special to us?"

"A drawing is fine." The counselors assured him. "But it has to be one that reflects what your looking forward to this summer."

Finally satisfied with the materials chosen, Devon went back to the table previously occupied and began work on the project. First I need to line it and put stuff in the back. Then I can mess with these to do that...and... Slowly, some sort of...thing started to take shape, a blend of colors placed together in a way that seemed to make sense at the time, even if it probably wasn't the most actually artistic thing in the world. Still, it was kind of fun to make.

Ivy bounced around the room. She couldn't decide what to use. There were too many choices. She bounced from one table to another. But she didn't touch anything. She knew that Kyle would scold her if she messed up the nicely organized art supplies. Her brother was very particular about his art supplies. Finally she settled on a pile of the metal. She was comfortable with metal.

Vanessa finally stood back, a grin of relief on her on her face. Unless it was graphic design she was terrible at art. It was done. It was a great tree made of gadgets. Vanessa liked forests, they were pretty but mostly quiet and peaceful. Vanessa was looking forward to not being nagged at, and maybe curling up supported in the branches of a tree and playing with her devices.

After several minutes of various chopping, folding, attaching, and coloring of objects, Devon finally had the box filled with a small scene of what kinds of things sounded good for the summer. There were folded paper figures and crude drawings of people swimming and playing various games like baseball, disk-throwing, volleyball, and even just tag or hide and seek. A few other figures slept in the fabric-twig trees and one was even going after a piƱata. A small girl was sitting in a group of button-and-ribbon flowers making a chain. On the lid of the box, there were a few more paper figures holding some tiny twig-like objects and a few setting off firecrackers. While most of the work done looked a bit messy and wasn't quite what the teen would call particularly "artistic", certain parts, like the folded paper objects and figures, actually looked pretty nice. Currently, the young dragon was trying to fit a piece of cellophane over a hole in the bottom of the box, occasionally looking up into it to make sure that it looked right.

"Um... lets see..." James said as he looked at a map spread out on the hood of his truck. He was pretty sure he was heading the right direction, but it seems that what he thought was a short-cut turned out to be a little more difficult than it seemed. "I know I am along here somewhere, and camp is just down this way." He spoke to himself and he traced his finger along the thin line the wound across a short distance on the map. "why does none of this look like it should then? If only I had been there before, I could just walk there in no time at all." He roughly folded the map as he got back into his truck, started it and began once more down the forested road. It wasn't too much further when he spotted the camp sign and breathed a sigh of relief. "At least I know I can still read maps correctly." As James pulled in he saw the buss parked in a large clearing and parked his truck just a couple yards from it. Getting out James grabbed a small bag from his passenger seat and a large duffel bag from the bed slinging them over his shoulder. Opening a small pouch on one end of the duffel bag he produced a slip of paper, It was the mailer that had his cabin number on it, and began walking towards his cabin. Making his way there he noted a bit of noise coming from the mess-hall as he passed, but wanted to drop off his things first. Reaching the cabin, a seven on the door, he went inside and dropped his things on the bed that would be his save for the small bag that he now strapped across his body. Walking out of the cabin James made his way towards the mess-hall to find out what was going on, and where everyone was.

Alex found a trail that led through a wooded area. He walked through it and took some excellent nature photographs, birds in flight, landscapes, the shapes of trees and their branches, and a few other things. He wanted to show his love for nature in a collage. After taking a decent group of photos, and removing some that weren't so good, he headed back to the art room to see if he could somehow print them out.

Kyle stepped back from his painting. He knew what he was looking forward to. Friendship. He and Ivy rarely got to stay in one place long enough to make friends. So that was the one thing that he wanted to gain from camp. He knew that Ivy would make fast friends. But he was hoping for lasting friends. Friends they could count on if they ever needed help.

Julia finished and stepped back, wiping at her eyes. It was beautiful. It was a bunch of pictures of nature, supposed to mean her want to explore, connected by colorful pieces of yarn and all glued together on a posterboard. It was fabulous.

Stepping into the room, Alex looked around for the counselors. Spotting them, he strode up to them. "Is there anywhere I can print this stuff out? I kinda need them in physical form if I'm to finish this project." He told them.

@vampiricchild "Of course. In the office." The counselors told him. "Follow us." They lead him out of the lunchroom. Than across the camp to where their cabin was. They opened the door two the office.

Alex followed the counselors, unsure of what to expect. He smiled at them when he entered the office. "Thank you." He said, before approaching the computer.

Devon finally closed the box and looked inside through the small viewing window at the would-be darkness. There had been a set of glow-in-the-dark paints, so they were used to paint stars that would only be visible when the box was shut. It was kind of a messy thing, but it made the teen happy anyway. What really appealed as a summer wish was just to have fun, maybe discover something new along the way. To not have to worry about school and bullies and family expectations for a little while. Yeah... That sounds nice...

On his way into the mess-hall, James passed a couple of students and some very interesting creatures that seemed to be the ones in charge. Turning to watch them walk towards the office James entered the mess-hall backwards and turned around as the dogs swung close. What he saw was a bunch of people working on what looked to be art projects. James smiled and then noticed that some of them were already stepping back from their projects as to say they were done. shoot, I might be too late! without thinking about it, James opened a worm hole to one of the supply tables, walking through he grabbed a hodge podge of times, turned to look for an open table then opened another worm hole to the table and stepped through. James looked at the other kids projects and saw they all had something to do with what seemed to be camp and what they would do. With that he began furiously working away at molding some clay when he realized that something was missing. "Oh!" James looked back at the supplies squinting to see what was there. "ah, rocks!" James again used his portal to get to and from the supplies and went back at working on his project.

Alex quickly printed out the pictures and ran back to the room filled with art supplies. He grabbed a large board and some glue and began sticking the photographs to it as a collage of nature. He wanted to show that his favourite part of this was going to be the natural element. He was looking forward to spending time in the woods. The quiet times where he could just sit and breathe and think. He didn't need sports and socialising. He needed quiet and content.

James heard the councilors as he was was working hard on his sculpture of a lake of sorts with a dock made from Popsicle sticks and a sandy beach area where a few clay figures of people sat while others appeared to be playing a game of soccer. there were also people on the dock making their way to some paper boats while others simply dove off the end into the water. The water was just a few pieces of blue paper, underneath the set itself, lightly crumpled to resemble the wind playing across the surface creating small swells. On the other end of the lake from the dock there was a large rock like a cliff, and at the top a clay figure was looking to be running to jump off into the lake. All the features were quite rough and sloppy from James' rush to get it all put together before time was up.
