Question. Do characters start off with credits? Or do they start with zero? Just curious.

Starts with zero from my understanding. Might be something for new characters, but most of us started with nothing.

Ok, just curious. As it stands now, I don't think Cobalt would have a chance against Gren. That's why I asked, I kinda wanted to upgrade in preparation.

Oh? While I'll admit Gren's own Rocket Upgrades will give him an edge, I think as far as firepower and durability goes they're rather even. Their Semblance is the real game changer, which can be altered a situation in various ways.

For example, if we're fighting not just in an open arena, but in a place with cover and different levels of elevation, that could give your character tactical advantages. Not that Gren is without either, but his plans tend to be short-term.

You joined not too long ago and are looking to upgrade? You gotta be put through the ringer, boss. Gren is perfect for that. Remember sometimes equipment, strength, and speed are not always required to win the fight. Sure, they can give you an edge, but most of the time it's skill that wins it. Play smart, and who knows, you may be able to trump Gren.

Ya never know, depending on how this turns out Gren might show ya a few pointers. Or offer to get your squishy human bits replaced with robot parts, like what he intends to do with Shiro's head at some point.

Also at some point him and Gren are going to need to have a confab.

I would assume that they would have been accomplished between the bowling alley game and now. If possible, that could have been the thing he was meaning to do before he met up with Clair and had a change of plans. He did carry a big mysterious package after all, which totally wasn't his Sakura Samurai get up at all.
