@Jedly Oh hey, a new Sniper. Should be fun to have a fellow marksman on board.

@harinezumikouken Got any questions feel free to ask~.

@Onarax They should have a contest to see who can shoot the most targets without looking. Should totally do William Tell charade, just for kicks.
(In my head, I saw the word charade. My fingers wanted to type character. This is truly the struggle. Gotta love split-second editing.)

No, no. You're fine. I'm not gonna be a stickler and be up your butt about firearms terminology because that wouldn't be fun of me to do to you. To give a little bit of background on myself, I used to serve in the U.S. Military and have built my own rifle. I'm no expert nor am I a gunsmith or precision marksman, but I know my way around a bolt carrier group. Just makes me cringe sometimes, seeing the things people put into their weaponry for character sheets. :p

Rule of Cool trumps your silly little "reality" and "knowledge"

Also, a friend of mine built a rifle. He had to work around New York's....restrictive laws, though.

@harinezumikoukenOh, coolio! I kinda just worked with my own knowledge of firearms, and also referred to the original image when I referenced the hydraulic piston system. As you can see, I went a bit crazy with theme songs, but eh, gotta love music.

He's legitimately mentioned leaving the state and living in his car to get out of here, though I don't think he was very serious. I'm content to wait until I've got my Bach Degree and have found something in a less restrictive state.

Back on topic, a Semblance companion. Interdasting..........

My dad has built several of his own guns as well, thing is he lives in California. If you think New York's gun laws are restrictive, try the most liberal state in the U.S.

@Jedly - Well, other than your Semblance. Which is new and different, not necessarily a bad thing, you have my seal of approval.

@Prince of Seraphs, @Lugubrious - WHAT SAY YOU?!

See, the thing about piston driven weapons is they're known to actually have slightly more recoil. Due to the increased mass of a metal rod forcing the action back to cycle it. It's near imperceptible, but it's there. When you compare it to 'softer' direct impingement gas systems, it's noticeable. If anything, the monster of a muzzle break at the end of Forthright would be your recoil 'dampener' if you would. Wouldn't want to be anywhere near the sides of that whenever it's firing however. The concussive blast alone can be devastating and extremely unpleasant to friendlies.

@harinezumikouken Thanks for the insight. I'll make sure not to have Delta blow off Robert's legs. Possibly. >.> Anyways, thanks for reading it over! -goes to listen to more songs-

@Eklispe Free Winds, I think you joined the reboot, which I Co-GM'd.

Something like this for Oswald's theme? o3o

The thing about Oswald is that there's two major aspects to his personality: the part of him that refuses to sit down and take it, and the part that can't help but be swallowed by the darkness and the despair. Both aspects have been shown a bit: the former when he went rage-mode after the massacre during his mission (as well as him bloodying a good punching bag afterwards), and the latter when he shut down as soon as he saw the destruction.

I figured out his two theme songs, actually. Both by Johnny Cash (well, one was originally by Nine Inch Nails, but Johnny made it his own with his cover, and if you disagree that's too bad because even NIN said he made it his.)

I Won't Back Down

Hurt

Beware of feels on the second one. Bewaaaaarrreeeeeeee.

I was about to ask why you chose my character to get his legs blown off, but then I realized that it wouldn't be out of character at all if that happened.

I had no idea that anyone else sang Hurt other than Johnny, that's kind of interesting.
