A few years after. I dunno, looking at it from within I realize the stupid things I've done and how I'm still doing them now, but how things could have changed if I could do the things I do now. For example I actually make money now so I can get cool shit. I can get into people's faces and argue with them without some teacher putting me in detention for causing a disturbance. I don't have to tolerate kids acting shitty with me when I can really threaten to hurt them, and it's not just an empty threat . But I digress.
But more related to My Hero Academy, I guess what I meant to say is that in getting to that point where in starting to see patterns and growing bored of it. I like the side characters more because they have more interesting quirks then the main character, who embodied the usual tropes of Shonen protagonists. Inspirring, sure, but the kid feels like liscencless rider without a Saitama as a foil. There's nothing wrong with being a hero even if you're weaker, but we all know that won't stay same for long. The kid gets stronger, he gets the respect he's he's never had, probs gets the girl, etc. It's nothing new and I guess I can't fault it for using what works. Maybe I just want something more relatable and within my age range.
Speaking of of other animes, anyone going to try to keep up with that zombie steam punk one? Made by the peeps who did Attack on titan, but I'm also getting a Tokyo Ghoul vibe from them. Might be dank.
Never heard of it. I liked Attack on Titan, but Tokyo Ghoul... not so much. What's it called?
