Get a bunch of your friends together then everyone goes to a different car dealership, you know the kind with free coffee to make you feel at home. Everyone takes out the same model of car with of course a well spoken salesman. Meet up with your friends and park your cars so they form an inescapable ring. Put the salesmen in the ring with a bunch of gladiator style weapons and tell them you'll buy a car from whoever survives. Cheaper then going to the bar and there's free coffee.

You should do what I did for my two birthdays before this year's: Invite all of your friends and family about a month or so in advance and plan the entire day with several cool events. Then, after putting a lot of time, effort, and money into what you're doing, slowly watch as all of the people you invited cancel on you or don't respond so that when the day finally comes up you're stuck at home by yourself with a small cake you bought for yourself at Safeway with a single candle that you blow out after singing "Happy Birthday" to yourself in the dark. Afterwards, listen to Eric Carmen's All by Myself as you attempt to cheer yourself up by playing games on your computer and see some of the people you invited playing other games that they could at least have invited you to.
