Mission one will be liberating the fort. A multi-staged mission, and our first real mission as a team. We will be starting out as a scouting party searching the forests nearby waiting while the Order sends a General and a force from the Order to lead the charge as well as the Suldan military who wants their fort back. And yes there will be backup as cool as it would be our little group of 5 or 6 won't be able to take on an entire Clan of Orcs entrenched in a Castle.
I will be adding another post when I am ready to get the IC moving thats just a bit of a teaser for a start.
@AiyvaGuard looks a lot better the Bio is good and all that so all that is left is a little nit picking. Since you will have magic your going to need to have the Magic Birthmark that signifies you were chosen by the gods, as well as listing Apprentice level Wind? magic in your skills. Also if you wouldn't mind finishing up your equipment all it has is your robes :) Thanks

Name:
Llynn Brèvedent
Gender:
Male
Age:
21
Nationality:
Unknown but was previously living in Alvina as an orphan.
Appearance:
Standing at about 5’8ft, he is a bit on the tall side.
Always found wearing a glare, his azure blue eyes always pierced people deeply. Hair always in disorder, he never really cared much for his looks, and thus has always kept it unkempt. Has a Darkness symbol under his left wrist.
Bio:
Not remembering much of his childhood, only that he’s been with his brother for as long as he can remember. Growing up as orphans in Alvina, and barely being able to live day after day by barely scraping up enough money for a meager piece of bread that was shared between the brothers. This would eventually fall short one day, and almost close to death due to hunger, a mysterious, old and haggard man came and offered them housing and food, under the pretense that they join his organization, “The Gray Hand.” Being unable to refuse, they accepted and were taken under his wing.
The man taught and trained both the brothers in the way of assassination, seeing them as pawns that would be useful to the organization in the future. Growing up in a ragged and tough life, Llynn has become Sharp-Tongued, Cold and a tad bit Irritable but still having some compassion.
Finally coming of age to take on his first assassination mission with his brother.
Easily overpowering the man he was assigned to kill, even without the help of his brother, all he had to do was finish the job, but he had mixed thoughts, while he did not care for the man, he didn’t want to outright murder him without good reason.
“Hey, what are you doing, kill him.” said Caleb, under the shadow of a tree.
“Bu- But he could be innocent for all we know.” Llynn replies.
“No, he's not. You can't be sure, not now, not ever- if you want to live, that is. Follow the Master's orders, we can't bite the hand that feeds us, Llynn.” retorted Caleb with a look of indifference on his face.
With eyes of regret, he finally musters up the resolve to finish off the man, he kept telling himself that the reason he was killing this person was because he needed too, for all he knows this person was probably a low-life who was asked to be assassinated.
Repeating these reasons in his head, no matter how foolish they were, he finally managed to deliver the final blow. Offering a small prayer, Llynn left his body to rot. Being patted on the back by his brother after finishing off the man.
After each and every mission he had, he grew ever colder. Always telling himself that they deserved to be killed and it wasn’t ‘his’ fault. This put a great mental burden on Llynn. Whenever he came back, his brother would always shoot that same smirk on his face and say “Good work.”
In time, the brothers both reached their limits by being tasked to murder an innocent family to ‘test’ their loyalty to the organization, this mission would happen in a few weeks, the brothers were awestruck. They nodded meekly, but they both knew that they would not be able to do that, both of them planned their escape.
When the brothers set off their escape plan, it was going rather smoothly until at the last moment, they were spotted by one of the tower guards. Racing the alarm, they panicked to get to the last exit, almost making it out, Llynn gets caught by one of the traps set down for intruders. Getting instantly knocked out, the next thing he knew is that he was strapped on to a table, getting tortured for ‘betraying’ the organization.
After a long and gruesome torture, perhaps because of all the pain, he finally fell unconscious with one last with a blunt plank.
Llynn waking up with Retrograde amnesia, he forgot almost everything he knew only that he was part of the order and, the order taking advantage of this, continue to send him out for missions. Unable to remember his purpose, he continued to execute his missions, but eventually his memories started to come back after each mission, with his hate for the order growing ever stronger. Honing his skill before trying to escape, he also found out that he had been able to use lightning that was siphoned from the symbol that was under his left wrist. Training every single day, with contempt and malice towards the order, he had manage to get, through rigorous training, ‘Apprentice’ level with Darkness and improved his combat experience. He finally made his escape, killing a sizable number of the order before his way out.
Now he seeks Redemption for his wrongdoings and also seeks out members of “The Gray Hand”, he sought out the ‘Black Order’, in an attempt to try and undo his wrongdoings. It is said that this order was formed during the ‘Age of the Beasts’ whose main purpose was to free men from the servitude of beasts. Finally finding this rather, elusive order, he finally managed to join them,
Walking in the halls of the black order he was rather amazed at the grandeur size of the building.
Then seeing a man leaning back on a pillar, he clutches his head in pain and recollects the smirk he saw on his face.
“Brother~” called the voice under the shadow of the pillar.

Name:
Caleb Brèvedent
Gender:
Male
Age:
24
Nationality:
Unknown origin- brought up in Alvina.
--
-BACKGROUND AND BIO-
"Abandoned" by their parents at an unknown age in the roughest parts of Alvina, Caleb and Llynn were lost children from the start. As a result, Caleb brought it upon himself to learn how to take good care of his younger brother, Llynn. Shouldering the responsibilities of both a brother and a father, he carried the burden of holding his brother's hand along their entire journey, even when he himself had no clue where they were to go. The pair traveled aplenty- to here, there and far, far away; their home was never in one place. Their feet scabbed, heads ached and hearts faltered. They grew up as vagabonds, stretching themselves to the limit as they struggled to make ends meet in the pitiful, measly villages they ended up in.
They continued to live like this until Caleb reached 5 summers, and Llynn: 2. At this point they were barely even alive, lying on the streets of an unknown town on disease-ridden sheets, as villagers paid them no heed. Time and time again had they been put in a situation where one of them almost gave out, both physically and mentally. Due to living life as far as they did with the lack of basic human resources, one could tell that their end was near- and with things the way they were, the brothers would have been extremely thankful for it.
...up until one fateful meeting with a mysterious, aged man who looked shadier than anything, offered a helping hand. Whether they were in for anything, they had no idea; and they soon found out.
The brothers were brought by the man and his men to a ghost town, located in the furthest south region of Alvina- Caleb guessed. Llynn casually clung to Caleb in an attempt to shake off the feeling that something terribly wrong was about to take place that day... and that it did. On that very day, they signed a contract with the man who took them in as their "children", or rather, assassins. Llynn, at a young age had the intuition of the ancients. Being less impulsive than his brother, he hesitated as he watched Caleb sign both their contract in his blood. The deal was made, and thus their shackles were locked.
The duo spent the rest of their days filing out and hunting down people that ranged from citizens to official authorities. Trained to be the best, the pair simply would walk through a crowd, clad in cloaks- and that would already mean one less soul around the block. They were trained by their 'Master' in the most gruesome ways possible, in order to rise within the ranks of their organization, "The Gray Hand". Caleb and his brother were top-notch in hand-to-hand combat, with scars and bruises that will never fade to prove that. However, when they hunted out in pairs, especially during stealth missions, Caleb honored his nation's soldiers by using their weapon of choice and got better at it: the saber. Quick, easy and painless. Years passed ever since their first assassination, and at this point Caleb had grown jaded to his unlawful killings. He had never known the people personally, so in turn he never found out whether his targets, or victims, were innocent or not. This thought nagged at him, ate away at him for years on end. Llynn had made it even worse for him, by pressuring him to stop what they're doing every now and then- just pack up and leave. The thought resided in his mind too, Caleb realized. But how could they ever leave? The elder brother prioritized his beloved sibling's life the most, even if that meant he'd have to become a cold, heartless killer in order to keep Llynn well and standing.
Caleb's heart hardened when his Master assigned them the duo's final "task" to prove their loyalty and dedication, to stand with the guild through thick and thin. One look at Llynn had Caleb sure that he was thinking the exact same thing. They were told to "get rid" of a family of 5. The parents, three children- two boys and one girl. Caleb shuddered as he looked at his Master in disgust, but only for a moment to not get caught.
"...we can't do this." Llynn sounded defeated.
"I know. My heart aches for them, but we have to. You know that." Caleb thought a bit longer. "...or we could escape."
The plan took several days until the time they had to head out to seek the family and secure their demise. They would run across the forests in separate directions, to confuse the armed soldiers- but their well-thought out plan had gone terribly, terribly wrong. Caleb had managed to make it out alive, however, the fate of his dear brother now lay in the hands of The Gray Hand.
---
Up until now, Caleb Brèvedent is a fierce, hot-headed young man who values his pride and Llynn more than anything. He prefers to think of the situation first, prioritizing logic over morals at times. A year after he turned 23 and escaped the haunting grips of The Gray Hand, he made a name for himself at a local Alvinian bakery, to keep his past under wraps. However, his plan was in vain as his original identity was scouted out and in the end, recruited to serve The Black Order to "repent". He gladly accepted and trained with all his might; to hunt predators- both beasts and those from his organization alike and to seek out his brother. Caleb wanted to wash the dirt off his hands, to rid himself off his past misdeeds and redeem himself for serial murder. The blood would never wash off, he knew- but he also knew now, that at least he would be doing the community some good and freeing them of their worries.
All was well until he was graced by a familiar presence in the halls of The Black Order.
"Brother~" I called out.
Although having been previously taught brutal ways of taking out targets with hand-to-hand combat, he preferred dual-wielding épées. Light and agile on his feet, Caleb waltzes around the battlegrounds with a bounce in his step and allows the flow of his swords to do his work for him, quick and effortless. Before finishing off his targets, Caleb likes to play around with his opponents. There's nothing more satisfying than to have your targets panic and beg for their lives.
Cloak of Hiding - Self explanatory. Given by The Gray Hand as a commemorative token, it should've been burned as soon as he escaped but figured it would be put to good use.
Body Armour - A combination of leather and cloth to allow flexibility at the joints, and iron-steel at his most vulnerable areas- namely his chest, legs, etc.
Dual Sabers
Having grown up his entire life within the confines of The Gray Hand's headquarters and traversing through the forests to seek out his victims, he had managed to learn a thing or two. From conditioning his feet during his early years to managing his stamina and flexibility, Caleb was trained for the acrobatics and endurance. He is able to run for hours without getting tired, and is gifted at slinking in and out of a given area at will, making him a great scout- and well, assassin.
Caleb possesses a faint birthmark on his right wrist, which channels his powers that had "accidentally" manifested during one of his early scouting missions when he blinded his target, leaving him dazed and his eyes bleeding. The light magic is used very rarely whenever Caleb panics, unaware of its full potential.
-Light - Apprentice
-Acrobatics
-Swordsmanship
-Baking (best buns in town yo)
-Herb gathering, self-taught during his early years travelling with his brother.
-Reconnaissance
Well known in The Black Order for his above-average looks, THEN his skills. As a result of this, he's developed a "superiority" complex and can be a little arrogant. Just a little.

Current Party is pretty well balanced:
Silus Cross the Dragon Slayer. Probably going to be our close range damage dealer, and great for killing flying things with his longsword if he can get close enough. Wants to kill himself some dragons, probably hates all monsters.
Gerhard Bergfalk the Wise Brawler. Probably will help us with diplomacy both with his words and his fists. Wants to bring peace between all, but understands that we must defend humanity.
Salezenathor the Noble Ranger. Probably will help the group reach monsters by forcing them to slow down with an arrow to the knee. Wants to be more in tune with nature, and serve a righteous cause.
Recca HeartSeeker the Holy Mage. Probably will help keep relations with Talos as well as help deal damage to the massive creatures, especially if in water. Seeks to spread the Gospel first with the party, then the rest of the order, then the world.
Nice descriptions, certainly a good and short synopsis of each of the members. And our group might be increasing by two so you'll have to add the orphan brothers in sooner or later.
*Looks at other plans starting to crop out in the future*
Ok, I may have the time now to make the CS.
But I'm worried about having to back out of the RP soon afterwards cause other things would pop up. :/
Sorry, about this.
Though I'd rather back out now, rather till wait mid-rp when someone might be reliant on me or my character.
I hope you all the best.
@Inertia and Pacemaker sorry but you'll have to wait for tomorrow for judgement. Been busy today and can't really give you a fair read over at the moment.
@AiyvaGuard you have added what I asked so ya she is good to add to the active roster.
@Gwazi Magnum Sorry to hear that, but it is understandable good luck in your travels.
Everyone else, sorry for not being able to get a post up to start us tonight :(
