Kanitah's current damage:

Punch to face, broke nose
Kick to hand, dislocate fingers
Energy spear to body
Tackled to the ground, energy drain of 20%
Left hand broken by energy blast
Flying knee to the face
Volley of punches all over the body and face
Glaive cut open his stomach
Juggled in the air
Air dropped kick to the face

Kanitah is literally the strongest character I've ever seen. Any one of these attacks would probably have killed a normal character and he's still somehow fighting like he don't even care. Just thought I'd remind you that your character's body is very broken, though I'm guessing his machine somehow allows him to surpass the injuries they should definitely be impeding him by now. Especially considering the volume of hits he's taken to his face by now.

Toughest? Definitely. Though noticeably not the strongest. Considering the only injury Fury has sustained are a few broken ribs and now a slightly crushed ankle.

Put simply, surviving is all he can really do at this point. He cant throw punches anymore because his leading hand is broken and he doesn't have enough stamina to run anymore. His leather hard skin, rock hard bones, and metal coated muscles are keeping his organs protected.

I figured you would have picked up on him no longer trading with Fury and simply taking the hits. Kanitah stopped counterattacking a few posts back because he has already, in all honesty, lost. His last offensive attempt, aside from the poor grapple, was a dirt ball that was doomed to fail from the start.

Other than that, his last truly threatening attack was the full speed ram. I kinda figured you would have seen that after 9 posts of Kanitah just taking the hits.

Well, he is currently crushing Fury's futuristic armour with a broken hand, so I was a little unsure about his damage.

I say strongest because ultimately, he could kill Fury with a single punch. He wasn't utilizing his main weapon very effectively throughout the fight and it cost him. He should have just punched the shit out of Fury at every given opportunity, even when he grabbed Fury's foot he could have just lashed out wildly with an elbow and snapped the bone instantly with his insane hitting momentum booster rings.

I know that full well, and if I were a meta-gamer I would have done that. But his previous bout with Fury left him exceptionally cautious of even touching Fury for a scarce second. He doesn't know the limits of Fury's drain ability, he doesn't know the range and whether it toggles on and off. If he had that knowledge, then he would have been much more aggressive. This was, however, not the case.

I always take into account every feature of the character I'm playing, and Kanitah's personality is his biggest weakness. Over analyzing and over thinking tend to get him in trouble. Like right now, if he had've just tried to crush Fury with repeated punches? He would have won.

But in his mind, touching Fury is a death sentence, all of his offensive attempts this fight were to put out the most damage for the least amount of contact. You'll notice from the ramming and attempts at blinding him with dirt.

O.K, though I'd argue that's highly questionable logic. Kanitah has tried to grab Fury at least on three separate occasions, in fact the most effective method for dealing damage with the least contact would have been to have just unloaded with a shit-load of punches. If anything, from what Kanitah knows of Fury he's engaged him in the exact opposite way you'd have expected him to.

Also, Fury is limited in the same way by his mentality. He could easily just fly around telekenetically blasting Kanitah with shit. However something no one has noticed yet is that Fury actually doesn't like flying very much, understandably as its not a natural power of the Fireen.

I wonder what consequences this will have.

Hmm, well there were two combatants in a different thread that were exposed to Dreamer energy, so Fury might hunt them down and kill them.

As for the stolen technology, I was planning on talking to LeeRoy about what potential benefits could be gained from extracting Kanitah's World Machine, if it's even possible.

Though I do have one more post to make, it will be tremendously long. It's really just an epilogue of how things change after Kanitah's death.

Hmm, you know it's possible Ao might revive the dude for the Arena. Though that would be a bit of a retcon I suppose.

Pundambayans believe in a very Valhalla-esque afterlife. A god or tremendously powerful entity would have an easy time retrieving him, though he would be a younger man.

As well as depowered, his word of power wouldn't work anymore.

That would be an interesting plot line for a game. Start off with lots of power, than get defeated and be reborn and have to regain your abilities overtime.

Rather, gain new powers. Because his word of power has been passed onto the next generation. His nephew, a seven year old, is now the holder.
