Numirra turns a bit, just as she's caught by Fedoraman, and punched right in the face. Numirra hits the nearest wall, and falls onto the ground. She grimaces while holding her broken, bleeding nose. However, the expression only slightly alters her usual bored one. She still looks helplessly unamused and zoned out, as if not really paying attention to what's going on.
"...Hmph. You have no manners...and people wonder if chivalry's dead...did it ever even exist?" Numirra stands back to her feet with a slight yawn. She extends a hand, glowing orange, and looks as if she's about to-
"Numirra, Natasha, Noruani. Fall back now. This battle is slowly becoming pointless, not to mention boring to me. There are much better things you could be doing. I've devised something new, so I require you all out of battle now.
The sudden telepathic command broadcasted to all 3 of the witches causes them all to freeze in the middle anything they might've been doing. Numirra puts down her hand with a slow sigh.
"...Welp, time to go home." She shrugs, then strolls down a nearby hall. She opens up the nearest window, and jumps out, shapeshifitng in the form of an orange canary, and disappearing into the sky above the forest.
Natasha, having put herself out from the flames, comes to a halt in her beastly form. Instead of changing back, she follows the Master's orders by using her enhanced speed to her advantage. She races across the battlefield, picks up her barely conscious, beaten littlest sister, and runs off towards the woods with her. All the while, Noruani is still smiling rather eerily...
"Ugh...they just...left...?" Kayori is the first of Felixter's small group in the hotel to get up after the horrid electrocution they suffered. "W-why...? With everyone distracted by that huge wooden behemoth...they could've easily done something. At the very least, kidnapped someone..."
"M-maybe....maybe that's why they left. Perhaps it wasn't any fun for them anymore. The Master views us all like toys and puppets, you know..." Ammi murmurs. She sits up, and immediately starts helping Kayori and Felixter first with their possible injuries, instead of even worrying about herself.
"It could still be something worse..." Felixter frowns deeply when he finally sits up with the others. "...It's possible that they've been called back for something new. A new plot of the Master's. In fact, I find it highly likely that, in the midst of this giant wooden threat we face, the Master saw no need for the witches to be here, as it already posed a great enough challenge. Therefore, he made a new, wicked plan instead, and has now called his witches back to begin the process of making it a reality."
"...Good to see that your brain wasn't fried too bad, Felixter." Kayori begins to beam at the slightly older boy.
"I'm willing to put trust in that theory. After all...you know Kebaratsu the best, don't you...?" Ammi nods in agreement.
back down on the ground, Kiroketsu watches Natasha flee with Noruani, a triumphant grin spreading wide across his face.
"YEAH! THAT'S RIGHT! YOU BETTER RUN, YA HAGS!" He cries out after them tauntingly.
"Are...are the scary witches leaving?" Mirui brightens up a bit at this news, but she still doesn't give up clinging to Kiroketsu. In fact, Kiroketsu even puts an arm around the monster girl's shoulder.
"That's right, big girl! They're gone for now! See, what'd I tell ya? Ol' Kiro here will protect ya, no matter what, my dear!" Kiroketsu flashes what he believes to be a winning smile at Mirui, and she giggles.
"HEY! WATCH WHERE YOU'RE PUTTING YOUR HANDS, YOU PERV!" Kayori calls aloud from the doorway of the floating hotel. Kiroketsu's smile transforms into a scowl, fast.
"OH, C'MON! I'M CLEARLY NOT EVEN DOING ANYTHING RIGHT NOW!" Kiroketsu throws up his free hand into the air to go with his cry of outrage.
"That's probably a good thing, considering you're not really in the clear yet, you two!" Ammi calls down as well. Kiroketsu is about to ask her hat she means, when his attention is once more drawn to the huge wooden figure stomping all around the battlefield. Thankfully, it doesn't look as if it's paying attention to him or Mirui.
"R-right...yeeeeeah, m-maybe we should head back into the hotel now, big girl!" Kiroketsu gets up. His expression brightens up again as soon as he realizes what that means. He puts his feet and tail together, and they all merge into one ghostly, wispy ending to his body. Then he picks up Mirui (with a bit of difficulty, considering the big monster girl's weight), and starts carrying her above the battle, back into the hotel.
"Worry not, fair maiden! I, Kiroketsu, your shining knight in armor, shall make sure you get back to the others without a single scratch!" Kiroketsu declares boldly.
"Weeeeeee! Flying!" Mirui gasps happily, not exactly paying the most attention to Kiro...
"Oh no...I hope-" Nelodine starts, but she can't finish before there are more noises from outside. The witch in blue and her older sister move towards a window where they can view the battle, and see their sisters fleeing the scene.
"Hmph. Seems they're leaving already. A pity. I wanted to be able to be of some use to you, dear little sister." Nymne murmurs as she watches. "Now I must make haste away, back to our new hideout."
"You...you have to leave with them?" Nelodine frowns. Though all of her sister were evil in some respect, or at the very least quite questionable, she still cared about all of them. Even Natasha, who stabbed out her eyes to the point where Ammi couldn't even completely heal them. So goes the story of Nelodine's glasses...
"Yes. It'll arouse too much suspicion all at once if I'm not back soon enough. Maybe I'll kill something on the way to the lair, so I have an alibi if they ask, or even care in the first place." Nymne starts opening the window so that she can flee along with the other witch sisters. Before she does, though, she turns to Nelodine, and puts something in her hand. "Here. This way, I can still be of some use. If indescribable trouble stirs up between all of us witch sisters, such as me getting found out, or something of that nature...break this."
Nelodine looks at the object in her hand. It is a smooth, round, milky-white gem in the shape of an orb, hardly bigger than a marble. It radiates a small amount of light, and carries a distinct air of...sadness.
"What...what is this, sister?" Nelodine asks. Nymne shows off another stone of similar qualities, except the color of it is a hazy dark gray, and the air it gives off is more...intriguing.
"I almost pray that you never find out...for it is the biggest, most unstable of the secrets kept between us witches of the Master.....all 8 of us." Nymne replies as she turns her back, facing the window.
"8.....w-wait a minute, 8?! But, there's only 6 of us-!" Nelodine cries, but by that time, her sister has already shifted into the guise of a hawk, and is flying away from her...
In the world of her inner minds, Meora's battle against Noruani's force has begun. She's chosen an array of guns, and has set about fighting the demon. In that one side of the room, it's a grand display of flips, dodges, and a rain of different assorted projectiles and bullets. Yet, on the other side, Maore sits quietly, peacefully at her little tea table, paying absolutely no mind whatsoever. At one point, a piece of debris from the destructive battle even lands right in her tea, but she simply picks it out, flicks it away, and goes on as if nothing ever happened.
Meora only gains a greater advantage when Noruani is forced to leave the battlefield in the real world, weakening her tie on Meora's mind further. With this, the neko girl is able to pull out her signature pistol, and take out the offending mental bug in one clean, but still explosive shot.
"Job done, Maore-sama. You can go back to being peaceful again." Meora grins, lowering her gun.
"You say that as if that wasn't already the case with me." Maore chuckles slightly. "But, regardless, with that done, it's time for you to go back on your merry way to consciousness."
Meora pauses for a minute, oddly silent. She turns to face Maore.
"...Maore-sama...ne, watashi-"
"Kudasai. Don't waste time saying what you've already said 1000 times over." The supposed double finally stands from the table, and comes face to face with Meora. "You need to go back. Go back and live, as always."
"...G...Gomenasai, Maore-sama....w-watashi..." Meora can't stop herself from shaking in front of herself, because in truth....Maore isn't herself.
"...Onee-sama. Yamete." Maore holds a graceful smile, filled with almost a grave sort of peace, on her face. She pulls Meora into a hug. "You couldn't do anything. It was my destiny to die for you in that warm, peaceful chamber of life...you were the only one meant to be born, always. Nothing you could have consciously done...not even if you held the same awareness then somehow as you have now...nothing would have changed, onee-sama."
"...Hai..." Meora admits unhappily.
"I'm fine, though...being able to take care of you from here is more than I could have wished for. So, go on, then. Sayonara, onee-sama....aishiteru."
After all is said and done, Meora is numbly aware of herself being picked up and supported by someone. When she opens her eyes, she can faintly catch the scent of Morgan around her from her cat-like senses. Meora smirks a bit.
"Ah...gomene, Morgan-chan. I hope I didn't do anything too stupid under that little brat's control. It's regretful I had to stay out of it like that....feel like I missed out on a lot of the fun...hehe..."
"We take over amusement parks and looooots of other places!" Clancy grins.
"It's so we can have fun with a large amount of people, and maybe have a grand feast, too!" Amber claps her hands together cheerfully. The two turn to Karl to listen to what he's saying, and return his hug enthusiastically.
"Heck yeah! We've never met anyone as fun as you who wasn't a shadow already!" Clancy nods.
"Welllll....except for Master Insanity." Amber points out. "I mean, after all, he's the pure embodiment of insanity itself~!"
Nimika is more than happy to leave the shadows behind as she continues following her demon guide to the council. She takes note of how extravagant the shining dome they're heading up towards is, and just barely catches the rest of her guide's words. She smirks a bit.
"My, you flatter me, sir. Though, I'll admit, there's more than one reason that I'm the Master's head representative and employee." Nimika giggles slightly in reply to the demon's comment on her looks. She also nods at the rest of his advice, "Yes, yes...I'm sure I can do wonders for these people, and so can the Master..."
