If you guys are still accepting I'd love to rework a 4th or 5th string character for this! Initially I thought of reworking Thunderstrike but you guys already have a Lady Thor. Off the top of my head I could imagine going with Sandman, Hellcat [a male version], Cyclops, Darkhawk, Colossus, Laughing Mask, Human Torch, Thin Man, etc...

I believe that you may have some competition with The Human Torch if @DrewVonAwesome decides to go ahead with his Fantastic Four idea but idk.

As for Cyclops and Colossus, I think that would help round off/form our X-men roster if you decide to go that route, as I'm now planning on playing Iceman so would give myself someone to potentially collab with in Westchester.

Regardless though, it's obviously your choice! :P

@Eru Iluvatar Also, some of the final episodes were very bad (especially when the animation changed). Mojo is definitely not the worst (and if we would consider that episode bad, it is so bad it's good). :D

I'm still progressing through the third series so I have yet to see them all to be fair.
I did hear there was another episode down the road, close to the end, with Mojo and Longshot in - so perhaps that could be worse.

I should've been more specific, I was talking about Jim Hammond the original android Human Torch. Most people forget in the Marvel U. he's the hero who killed Hitler. I just have a thing for golden age characters and it's why Thin Man and Laughing Mask made the list.

The idea for Cyclops as well as a more Americanized version of Colossus was they'd be graduates of Xavier's school and looking to make it on their own or in the Avengers. Especially if in this history there haven't been any mutant members yet.

However, note that most superhumans have only been publicly active for a few years (although mutants could have been active for a while longer). Basically, unless you have worked with a government agency or a mutant group that hasn't made itself public, your character probably should be publicly known for 3 years max.

Ah right! Honestly while i've heard of the Jim Hammond version on a few occasions, I don't really know much about him, or any other golden age characters for that matter!

Actually right now, for me anyway, it's a toss up between trying to make Thunderstrike work with a Lady Thor or dusting off an old profile for a guy I was gonna use in one of Drew's Future Marvel games [Hellcat].

I'd like to join but I'm a little lost as to what's going on in the story right now. I know in the interest check it said newcomers don't need to know prior IC posts but could I get a small summary of the major events?

First, I would recommend reading starting from the Hulk-Thor-Ms. America-Loki collaboration, which can be found here.

For the summary: Miles Warren (aka the Jackal) is set on exacting punishment on Spider-Man for the death of Gwen Stacy (although it was not entirely Spider-Man's fault). The Jackal's first attempt (which was sort of impromptu) was unleashing the Raptor (Damon Ryder), who was transformed into a raptor-human hybrid, against Spider-Man. Spider-Man (along with Loki) was able to subdue the Raptor (and SHIELD showed up to take Raptor into custody). Next, Spider-Man stumbled upon a bipedal Triceratops with metallic laser horns (blame the Japanese for it ). WIth the help of Hawkeye, Spider-Man was able to subdue the creature. The creator of this creature has contacted Miles Warren and they are planning on meeting.

Bruce Banner was recently transformed into the Hulk. He was trying to get out of New York, but "Thunderbolt" Ross and the Hulkbusters attacked. Thor and Ms. America joined the fray. Loki also joined and disabled the Hulkbusters' weapons. Loki finally got Hulk out of there and teleported him to Australia, but not before a large building was severely damaged.
