When I was 10 or so, I found my dad's AD&D books. I ended up DMing (badly) for my friends, but we didn't play much, and nobody was good at paying attention to the game but me. We only had one set of dice, too. I have since found out that I am a much better player than DM, but I live in a small town so there isn't anyone else to run the game. That is why I have turned to the Internet.

I've been a writer for as long as I can remember (unfortunately I can still remember how terrible I used to be *shudders in horror*). My BBF in High School introduced me to a site called hexrpg.com (Which is still around folks). And I joined to write stories with her. We were, ironically, not compatible. But I feel in love with the site and stayed there for 7 years. 7, count 'em! After that time one of the gals I was writing with told me about (the old) RP guild and we took one of our stories over here. I've been here ever since. I have branched out to other side in the interim. But I've kept pretty much regular on here.

Geez I started rping about a month after I had been on what was my first forum, okamiworld I think if was, during a time when I was obsessed with the game, that would have been about...7 or 6 years ago I think. I can still remember my first Gary Stu, he was a descendent of a main character with a super powerful evil side, I shudder at the memory, never GM'd but never wanted to, I'm an actor not a director.

I found roleplay first through Warcraft III:Frozen Throne, I still remember it. I joined an rp map that had a lot of water in the middle, and there was a small elvish forest area off to the left side. I spawned a barrel, added a fire sfx, and then slowly learned the ropes until I became a pro. I hosted games for a clan I made, garnering members from other clans, and my three closest buddies, (Couch_Killer, Vule, and ToasterWaffle) We hence then became: Magical-Roe, Magical-Piggy, Magical-Couch, and Magical-Vule, the four horsemen of a dying breed of roleplay, a sanctuary, as DotA slowly took over the games lists. My clan was call LOTRP; Last of the RolePlayers. Since then we've moved on, lost facebook connections, lost touch of skype, and went our seperate ways. I here my buddy Colton (Magical-Piggy) stills roleplays on Starcraft II:HoT, yet I find myself more at home here. This forum fits around my schedule and my life, and it's been that way for a long while now. I don't remember who mentioned this place, they did it offhandedly during a discussion through OOC chat as we spent hours slowly spawning, aligning, rotating, adding effects, and populating our map. I checked it out and at the time it didn't stick. Until the roleplay aspect started to feel truly dead. I've been here ever since, from hosting and playing the GM from warcraft maps, to here. At first I only joined stories as a player, but that didn't last long. My appetite was much bigger, and I found myself building up the knowledge and skill to host my own games. There's been a lot of attempts between here and now, but I love GMing my own stories and letting others experience my ideals. I wouldn't change it for the world. First and only <3 Roleplayerguild.com

I was twelve, I think, when I discovered a sub-forum on a Sonic the Hedgehog forum. It was called “Roleplayer’s Guild”, which yes the irony isn’t entirely lost on me. But yeah, it was in September of 2001 when I saw these interactive stories—which I was sort of familiar with as I participated in some terrible “choose your adventure” type of websites. But I jumped into the first RP that caught my eye “The Ultimate RP”, how grand it sounded and there was none of this sense of profiles or anything like that so you could jump in and I did. I typed terribly and got fair criticism for it to which I adapted as it went on, but really that’s where it begun for me. Eventually I joined other websites in search of sharing my fandom and finding RP.

I think on a video game forum someone mentioned it and after a quick google search I was entrenched.

I really liked Minecraft three years ago and got into the forum games section at the bottom of the Minecraft Forums. I noticed that they had a forum roleplaying section and I started posting in there, thinking it was pretty groovy. Everything went downhill from there.

Soon after I returned home from military service a classmate discovered I was hiding several RPG sourcebooks in my apartment. At first I expected teasing, or disapproval, but instead he asked me if I had ever played 'pen and paper.' After explaining the voice acting was a turn off, he suggested I try it online. I wanted to write something just for fun, and wanted an audience...this was actually kinda perfect. Here I am. I've forgotten how long I've been here.

I had just finished reading The Last Hope from Warriors I believe, back in 2012, and I was interested in finding a roleplay for warriors. I happened to come across WCRPG, which is now changing to Feral Front. Then I started getting more into other things like warfare and romance for humans, and since most of the population in Oct. 2012 converted to 1D fans, I started to look for another one. in Oct. 2013 I found Roleplayer Guild and have been alternating between that and some of my last threads on WCRPG/FF. Tho I haven't done a lot of Roleplaying on here because I always get paired up with people who won't post because they want someone to do their own kinky stuff or with people whom just let the thread die and don't give a reason(this one happens most of the time) I'm getting back into this, though, seeing as over here there are a lot more better thread ideas....
