Young Justice made me really hate Fate. It's not okay to hold people hostage like he did. Even worse, he did it three times! And then they let him in the League.

P.S. Is it a flat requirement to fill out the arc pitch section of the CS? I have many arcs to play with John but giving a good three of four of them away seems to spoil the fun somewhat.

I'm liking everyone's CSs so far. Nice touch making with the titles for the arcs o Zatanna, @Ruby. Almost finished with Green Lantern, I just have to type up the backstory. Does he seem too Golden Age-y? And is there a better shade of green? I might end up putting what the ring says in green, so I'd like to have a green that's easy to read.

Powers/Abilities: Alan is in possession of a Green Lantern and a Green Power Ring. The Power Ring is a powerful alien weapon, and the Lantern is its battery. Alan is in the process of discovering the full capabilities of the Ring, and is able to reliably use the following:

• Environmental Shield – Whenever the ring is active, it produces a shield that filters the air around the user. It can also be used for space flight.
• Constructs – The ring can produce green, glowing constructs of whatever the user wants. However, they must understand how the item works. This makes something like a club easy to produce, but a gun much harder.
• Flight – The Ring can lift its wearer into the air, glowing bright green.
• Hacking – The Ring is the most advanced form of technology in the universe. It can easily access any computers made by humans, but it will be obvious to them that they have been hacked.
• Scanning – The Ring can scan for various things, including radiation and computers.

Weaknesses: Alan's Power Ring is completely unable to affect wood, and plant matter weakens its abilities. The ring is also limited by its charge, which lasts for exactly 24 hours. It must be recharged by the Green Lantern. Magic is invisible to the Ring. Backstory/orgins: Arc ideas: Green Lantern is confronted by the real Green Lantern of this part of the universe, Abin Sur. Will he be able to explain himself to the Green Lantern Corpsman without having his Ring confiscated? Alan's secretary retires, so he hires the beautiful Molly Mayne. Meanwhile, Green Lantern faces a strange new villain, Harlequin, who performs strange crimes using her ability to hypnotize people. She says that unless Green Lantern faces her, she will reveal his true identity to the world! When a mass murderer named Solomon Grundy is somehow completely immune to the ring, Green Lantern must fight him hand-to-hand. Can he defeat what appears to be a super-strong zombie without the Ring?

1st Edition Advanced Dungeons & Dragons anyone?

I'm interested in playing. How would we be rolling for stats? 4d6 drop the lowest, 3d6 in order (aka Iron Man), or one of the lesser known methods? I don't think 1e had point buy.

When Green Lantern was first published, his ring was a magic item created from a meteor. Later it was retconned to be one of the normal rings. The New 52 Alan has a ring powered by The Green, the same thing that Swamp Thing and Poison Ivy use. I'll probably go with a normal Power Ring though. Edit: Oops, got ninja'd. It was weak to yellow, though. The great Green Lantern, taken down by a banana xD

I'm interested in being Green Lantern, maybe as the original Alan Scott. I don't know if it would be one of the Guardians' rings or a magic one. One thing I think is a little iffy is people writing their own villains. Maybe it would be more interesting if everyone played someone else's villains?
