Honestly? I'm not sure just yet. I have been thinking up of a forgotten realms based, Cyric the Mad influenced campaign. Not sure if I should actually plan out the whole thing or just have some background details and see how it plays out. I think the best D&D games are the ones where we just go along and whatever happens, happens type of deal. It adds more to the unique storytelling that D&D is famous for. Obviously there's gonna be a campaign, but it would be an open ended one. What do you think?

Oh, and as you can see, I am not going by first edition lore or anything, actually I'm not going by any lore rules really. As a matter of fact, I might not even have it set in Forgotten realms. I like to come up with my own things.

I'd like to join if we can find more people, preferably not Forgotten Realms because there's so much lore to it that I don't know very much about.

I'm interested in playing. How would we be rolling for stats? 4d6 drop the lowest, 3d6 in order (aka Iron Man), or one of the lesser known methods? I don't think 1e had point buy.
