Depends. What are the mutants doing?

They are discovered as being like the XMen Mutants, and a law is proposed that they will be collected, cataloged, and if the government says they are fine, then they will be returned home, and monitored.

Personally, I would be all for them, they deserve to live normal lives. If they kill someone, THEN the government should check the one that killed a person.

I agree....but we're humans so if we don't understand it we automatically become forceful on it. War or complete control over the mutants would probably be the first thing that pops into are(the governments) head.
