"Guess I'm up" said the young boy under his breathe. His brown hair swooped over his left eye and flopped on his forehead as he walked over to the podium. "Hi there! I'm Slick Sloth Zairos the third. I got eighty seven percent on my written exams and eighty five on my practical. I am a pyromancer and learning arcane magic. I got rank One, four,four. So if any of you guys wanna get to the school council position, you're going up against me!" Slick turned round and went back to his seat. He let his mind wander, assessing everyone who came up to the podium to introduce themselves to their classmates. Slick had done this ten years prior, but the only ones who knew where those who were there that original day, no one should have known, he was the one who destroyed the island that day.

Charlie would head up to the podium with a goofy smile and goofy step "hey everyone!!! i'm Charlie M-Oni" he says to the crowd "I'm a summoner, Conjurer, or what ever you want to call it, how ya doing!" he says being slightly goofy at the podium, "i'm not going to talk about grades because I don't care about those, i'm just here to have fun!" he states. "I'll be seeing some of ya!" he would then begin heading back to his seat. it would be true that he didn't care to much about his grades, mainly because he didn't see to much in a sense to pay attention to them, though he seemed always to get what he needed, some times ended up being the lowest needed for other things and ended up getting him into a lot of stuff he doesn't want to mess with.

Great, I know someone here is gonna be trouble maker. Slick let out a small sigh. At least it's already more entertaining than the original school.

Marcus walked to the front of the class wearing a giant smile on his face." Hey! What's up guys , I'm Marcus ,but you can call me Mark. I have a ninety four percent on my written and a hundred percent on my practical. I'll be working part time as you guys consoler ,so come to me if you need help with something." He leaves the podium's ,but then walks back."Also think twice about challenging me to a duel.....it could be your last." With that he successfully walks to his seat.

Gil watched and waited to one side as the first 'group' of people introduced themselves to the school. His interest was peaked at the first kid, someone who called himself Slick, when he mentioned he was a pyromancer. A fire user Gil thought to himself as a small smile pulled at his mouth. He wasn't inherently competetive but he was curious and seeing someone else with fire magic immediately made him want to see the possible variety and he made a mental note to speak to this Slick later. The other two students looked every bit as interesting as the first although he felt a chill creep through his spine at the Mark's warning about challenging him. Finally, seeing a gap, he went up himself for his own introduction. "'Sup" he started looking around expectadly. There was no cue or interruption so he figured he just sort of continued. "I'm Gil. Uh Gil Cob." He glanced at Slick and flashed a small smile. "A pyromancer. Sort of. It's dragon fire." He paused and opened his mouth to continue then shook his head and went to sit down. No need to mention his rank or his remarkably average scores in the exams.

Slick rolled his eyes. Dragon Fire my ass. I'm willing to bet, he doesn't even have a bit of Dragon DNA in him.

Meruin woke up with a snort. She'd been asleep for awhile now. Well, since she was awake, she may as well introduce herself and get it over with. Walking to the podium, her long black hair floated up magically so it avoided getting tangled with her legs. She faced the crowd of students and introduced herself. "Hello, I'm Meruin Hazy . . . it's nice to meet you." Then she stepped down and fell asleep on her seat.

Even though she's older, she still finds a way to sleep, everywhere.

Tony sighed, guess he was next. He sauntered up to the podium and stared at the crowd of kids. He pushed his glasses up a little higher on his nose. "Hi guys, name's Tony, Tony Hart. I'm the fifth council member. A lot of people are puffing their chests out and talking a lot of false bravado. I find it very amusing, but just know, everything will be settled in the rank battles. Only there can you talk shit." Tony didn't bother talking about grades, he could have gotten perfect scores on both. Without another word Tony walked back to his seat. Hart smirked, this year was going to be fun.

Meruin looked at Tony through half lidded eyes. "No intimidating the newcomers," she mumbled sleepily.

Great, another hothead. Just what we need on the student council. Slick look dismayed and t'ward an ajar window, he could see the new town.

Tony glanced at Meruin, "it wasn't meant to be intimidating, it was just the truth. I don't believe in sugarcoating things." Hart hadn't meant to seem mean or anything... Oh well.

Meruin just responded in same sleepy tone. "Not everyone can or wants to fight; it's very intimidating to say that everything is decided through battles." "Besides, you can still be a good student even without fighting, like me," she said, the irony of this statement flying over her head.

Pandora stept up to the podium. Her expression blank as usual. "Pandora Lockhart, fourth in the student council," Pandora said in a sort of monotone, before stepping away and sitting down. She was bored.

Slick could hear the back and forth argument, between Meruin and Tony. Great, the second first day is filled with fighting already. Pandora emotionless, got it. Not much of a talker and seems a good fighter, the soul is almost colourless.

"Well if people want to rank up they have to fight. But I guess some of the new kids might have been intimidated. Oh well.... They'll get used to it I guess." Tony shrugged and put his hands behind his head, wanting the ceremony to hurry up and finish. There was so much more productive things he could be doing.

Pandora leaned back in her chair slightly and pulled out a book. She began to read it, not actually caring what the book was about. The book itself was in terrible condition. It had been burned, torn, and was just in terrible shape. If you asked Pandora, she would tell you it was a memento from her mother, but that wasn't true. It was just a book that had suffered through Pandora lighting it on fire, tearing it, cutting it, dropping it in a river and much more. In fact the words were hardly readable. But, Pandora just read the book, ignoring the people around her.

Slick stared at Pandora's book. "Sorry to botheryou, mam. But er... I must ask you. What happened to make you lose all emotion?"

"My mother died. She was killed before my very eyes,this book is the only memento I have of her," Pandora spoke, looking at Slick. This was another lie. Pandora's mother was still alive. In fact she was probably at home, taking care of Pandora's siblings, happy that their trouble maker was at home.

Charlie could see some of the other students was uptight and so on... he knew he had to change that with his specialty but as of right now he couldn't do much for the others would be able to easily see him. he would have to wait for a better opportunity.
