GM Disclaimer: I have had this on the old site for about 2-3 years. When it fell, I kicked it back up but then due to the site's crazy inactivity and paired with personal issues, this had to be rebooted. The old members will be allowed to join of course but this is also a way to add fresh blood to the mix and get some active new writers involved in this mega awesome concept. Since this is a reboot, we will be starting from the beginning of things. Each reboot has been slightly different and this time, things will go slightly different since of course, our cast will be different. I am busy, I have only 2-4 1x1s and a few Groups but this is my beloved brainchild and I want to see it get off the ground and stay there.

Summary: Set in the near year of 2022, our technology has drastically changed. Now no one gets by without a cell phone. It is their link to everything in their life. Everything is digital and writing by hand has been outdated. Everyone not only has a cell phone, but it's also linked to world wide wi-fi. People use their cell phones to pick outfits, purchase clothes, food, and the like. And with a touch of a button, they have anything they want. They also use their cell phones to communicate with friends, listen to music and find an escape. Those are things we're familiar with right now in 2015. The big difference between now and then is that without a cell phone, a person will die.

Think of the cell phone as a containment for your soul. It's charged by your own life force.

Another thing that is different about the cell phones of 2022 is that they play music but this music is different, it can take people into a digital realm called the DgtWld. (Short for Digital World) You can travel across the world and go shopping, or be taken to a sunset overlooking the Caribbean. The way this is done, is by extracting your mental awareness and relocating it elsewhere while still keeping your body bound to your current relation. Music plays a big part in everyone's life and almost everyone is immersed in it when not working or going to school.

Now with such technological advances, hackers have more opportunities to attack people aince everyone on one massive network. Because of this, the government has passed a secret underground project and has developed an application downloadable to certain people. This application allows the user to go completely into the DgtWld: mind, body and soul. These people are called Correctors who fend off the hackers and viruses that plague the DgtWld and threaten people's lives and well being. Correctors are hand selected by the government in their region, of course each country has only a select amount of Correctors who all fight for one cause and work together when necessary. The Gvn (Government) keeps everything tightly woven together so the public don't worry, so the Correctors are of course kept secret and only exist online.

Correctors have an expiration date though. They are only used to help fight for about 9 years. Some are pulled off earlier. Correctors are recruited at age 20 usually for the sake of being more mature and able to juggle a personal, professional and academic life. Not to mention, their minds and bodies are also more mature and capable of fighting frequently. They are placed under the wing of other Correctors who are at least 3 years their superior. Correctors are not allowed to tell normal civilians that they are Correctors as the general population does not know of the project that passed. Nor should they,

RP Starting Point and Closing Comments: We will be playing characters who are not 20, but around the age of 23-26. Those in school and with jobs will need to balance that out. Consider this a mix of Code LYOKO, Corrector Yui, Madoka Magica and Sailor Moon, dot hack or something. You can be male or female. And a big focus will be your cell phone, music, character development and a darker plot which I have planned already. So any antagonists will be mine to play as GM. After a player has gone through a full "Chapter" of the RP, they have the option to add on other characters who may be antagonists or special temporary cameos.

RP Timeline:

2015 - Japanese scientists unveil a new model of cell phones which link to the user's life force via microchip implanted in the back of their neck. This begins the boom in new cell phone design and soon a world wide wi-fi network is put in place.

2016 - Over 50% of the entire population now are using the new cell phone models which are very affordable. New applications are being released and sold through Apple and other major companies around the world. The general public is beginning to move over to a sleeker, more timely lifestyle of instant gratification.

2017 - The US and the Japanese Governments are the first to pass a secret bill that would allow the country to hire select people to help defend people from the onslaught of recent cyber crimes. Now 75% of the population is linked to the global network which is now giving people in rural areas new job opportunities.

2018 - Now everyone in the world is linked to the DgtWld and every major country is using secret Correctors to help protect their citizens.

2020 - Worldwide utopia seemed to have been reached. Life now centers around one's cell phone and music and most jobs cater to computers and security even though just years ago the world was in chaos with war and economic strife. With the entire world prospering, there is no little to no reported crime, hunger and famine are abolished and everyone seems happy with the progress made with technology for science and medicine.

2022 - Currently there are no signs of unrest, however in the DgtWld, a new era of terrorism is starting to rage against the Correctors and their scrutiny.

- - -

Corrector Info: Correctors are humans anywhere from age 20 to 29. They have been approached secretly by their Government usually by phone call, then an email. In the email, they are told to go to their local Gvn Office and once there, they are told of their new job. Refusal is not an option. They are paid well for their services and are not allowed to tell anyone of what they do behind the scenes. They are given applications which cannot be duplicated (read: hacked) and are monitored by the Government.

The application allow the user to transform into a digital being/avatar and enter the DgtWld fully.

They give the Corrector powers to fend off warring viruses and hackers. The App also give the Corrector tasks and other things to do. The powers Correctors are given can be downloaded by the application's store depending on their years in service and their individual performance. The Government wanted the Corrector to have limited customization in the beginning but as they progress, they'd be given more options. The application is called Cnnt (Connect) and it is always scanning the DgtWld for any signs of dismay. Notifications are sent to the cell phone of the user and once they all respond, they must sync up to a computer or cell phone and get to work.

Fighting: I am leaving this a bit open in some manners. I do not intend this to be a fighting roleplay nor do I want us to be going into battle every other page. Weapons and abilities will be up to the user. As stated above, different skills can be downloaded to one's user if you're a Corrector. However what you can do is limited upon how long you've been a Corrector and how well you do your job. Most skills come from their weapon of choice. For example, choosing a katana would grant the user excellent speed and agility with their weapon which would allow them to be very offensive. But then their defense and endurance may then suffer. If a Corrector picks a bow and arrow as a prominent weapon, they would have nice long range attacks.

It is possible to have no weapon and to use your fists. Your weapons are digital and can be reproduced within your body's limits. For example you could wield two katana at once but you couldn't use more than one bow and arrow since that's physically impossible. And if you're injured, regenerating a weapon is harder to do, due to mental and physical strain. But if your weapon breaks or falls into the abyss, you can easily conjure up another weapon with your mind. Your weapons are can be enhanced with elemental powers and may reflect a futuristic feel or something harkening back to fantasy fiction. It's up to you. Keep it within reason though.

As the RP progresses, you will be given chances to change your character's alias, skills and online appearance.

Microchips: Also known as MChips. Everyone has a MChip in the back of their neck. These are linked and synced up to your cell phone, laptop etc. Without a MChip present, you die. The MChip helps regulate your body and health. It helps you connect directly to the internet. It is your lifeline. MChips are implanted right at birth, ever since 2016. They store everything, they're your personal backup. It keeps track of passwords, information, etc. It's your memory bank for everything. Should you wish to listen to music, it allows you to do so without even needing headphones, transmitting music directly to your brain without disturbing anyone around it. It allows you to close your eyes and connect to a new destination across the ocean when you're stuck at the office.

Your MChip is your link to living.

Threats: Pretty self explanatory but why not? Threats of 2022 are much more serious. The stealing of one's identity and Mchip are much more of a concern than ever. Hackers are making more tough digitized threats known as Vs (viruses) that take the form of monsters in the DgtWld which seek out people and can kill them if they're linked by sending them corrupt information which could reach their Mchip and end their life undetected. People do have personal security (like Norton Anti-Virus) but hackers are finding ways to get around it and steal information and even blackmail people. If you can think of a crime, it's happening. Even murders.

The DgtWld: The Digital World is the world wide wi-fi network that was first established in late 2015. Users log in with their cell phone and microchip. They play music and can take their minds to other areas of the world. Humans cannot pull their real bodies into the DgtWld unless they have some sort of virus that is endangering them. The DgtWld is where you access the internet with your phone or laptop's web browser. There are virtual goggles and headphones made for people who want a more personalized experience when using the DgtWld. Normal people (non Correctors) cannot customize any sort of avatar in the DgtWld, as far as they know, that technology hasn't been invented yet. Also, Correctors give themselves an alias to go by so that hackers won't know their name, though if hackers wanted to, they could try to break into the Gvm computers and find out Correctors' identities.

The point of the alias is to just not use real names. Consider it a username.

Phones and Music: Your cell phone is your link to your life and MChip. Your music sets the tone of your life. You can listen to pretty much anything for free in the year 2022 since you pay a music tax yearly that covers the cost already. Your phone texts, browses the web on the go, calls people, records video, and does much more. Without your phone, you cannot access your MChip, phones are replaceable while MChips aren't but the phones are not cheap by any means as the entire world is now making the market change.

Expectations:

We will be using a Round system, something I've done for many years and it ensues people don't get left out or fall behind. The risk is that it can be a slow pace but having used it for a long time, I've learned how to ensure that those we continue to wait on, don't hold us up. A Round system makes sure each player posts once and only once. After you post, you must wait for me to post again before you can. There is no order but everyone needs to post promptly so we can keep moving and keep interactions fluid. The first post will be made by me and everyone will be free to post after that until I post again to end the round/start the next one.

Due to the pace, I expect you to post once a week, at least. If you can post twice (which means you probably post right after me) then that's fine. But a post a week should ensure a Round a week gets done which is slow but for an advanced story, that's not bad.

I expect OOC to be fairly active, even if me or my GMs are MIA, you're free to talk about the RP or things related to it. Or just how things are going for you personally, if that's your thing. If you're quiet in the OOC, it makes me think you're not interested or are too busy. Communication is awesome, you can never do it too much! An active OOC tends to lend itself well to an active IC.

I am not your mother, I won't hassle you for a post. I don't like to be hassled. I have a life, I have threads to tend to and papers to write. I'm at the age where I assume everyone else will get things done if they really want to. If you need to drop out though, you have to tell me. If we're waiting too long, you'll be skipped and written off but for the love of all things awesome, don't look at me to clean up your mess. If you sign up, I trust you're able to manage time and motivation. Not motivated? Do something, say something but I am not going to go around to every player and give out feedback slips for you guys to fill out. Communication is key but it's not all on my shoulders.

Posts should be about 4-5 paragraphs but it is up for discussion.

RP/CS will be put here before they're added to the tab. When they are, you can edit your CS in here so it's no longer a mess of text because cleanliness does matter around here. And make sure you make a character that isn't a copy of another that's been approved. You can be unique and have fun with these powers. I'd also love a balance of male and female characters. As far how many I'll accept, we'll see. If I need to repost another sister RP for this, I will. That one was called Hackers and the other was Dazzling. Both take place in the same world as this but both have us playing different variations of Correctors in the DgtWld. I'd love a modest group because it's easier to manage but just submit until the top says otherwise!

If you have any questions for me or my GMs, let us know. The sooner this gets off the ground, the better. I know it's a tight time for some people but let's do our best.

GM Notes: All of our characters will be very familiar with one another. They've been on the same team together so they should all live in Tokyo, Japan, from different areas. If your character is from Japan but raised elsewhere, they need to have been back in Japan before they're able to be recruited as a Corrector as the Gvn would only call on those who are integrated in their country and live a stable life.

Please fill out the two sheets below and I'll add those approved will then be able to post to the CS tab. Do not post yours in there until you're approved. Failure to comply will result in me veing very disappointed, confused, upset and hungry.

I may have gotten a bit overexcited and had a character whipped up before this was posted... >.> Here she is, anyway, and with that, I'm off to work for the night. I'll get to any necessary changes/comments when I get back, if any crop up. Roleplayer Sheet: Age: 24 Frequency Online: Tons, unless I'm working, then usually a couple hours a day. Responsibilities Offline: I travel around a lot for work, so unfortunately this may lead to some difficulties if I'm staying at a crap hotel with bad wifi, but having recently upgraded my laptop, I don't really think this will be a problem much anymore. I don't have a job coming up for a while anyway, and I'll keep everybody posted when I do. Even if I'm in the middle of sticksville, there's always some way to get on the internet, so if I need to get a post up, I'll find a way, even if I have to type one into a PS3 browser window or something. Favorite tv show or books: Haven't watched a proper 'tv show' in several years, but my favourite anime is probably Fate/Zero, if I had to pick right now. As far as books, I recently finished Snow Crash by Neal Stephenson, and it might actually top my list. I might be biased just because it was my most recent book, though. I like the Song of Ice and Fire books, though I don't watch the show. Why do you like to write/RP: I like to experiment. I like to make characters that push my brain in various ways, and to take part in plots that do the same. I'm pretty understated IRL and I wouldn't say that I have much of a personality, but I like to play characters who are full of the stuff and have fun existing in their headspace. Sorry if that sounds a bit raw, but I've just been thinking about it lately, and that's the conclusion I came to. -- Character Sheet: Name: Karasugawa Karako Alias in the DgtWld: Cypher Age: 23 Average Appearance:
Corrector Appearance:
Weapon of Choice: Katana (Unique style mixed with Tae Kwan Do.) She is fast and light on her feet, and enjoys moving around a lot during fights. She uses kicks to soften enemies up, then her katana to finish the job. She has upgraded her abilities a bit to be able to slash quite fast with her katana. In a style based mostly around mobility and speed, she moves around a lot, and strikes when an opponent reveals their weakness. However, while she excels in mobility, she is at constant risk due to her own lack of any sort of defense. Her fighting style demands that she always be up close to an opponent, but simultaneously that she not take any hits. It's always a risky gambit, and she relies heavily on support from her other teammates, even when it looks like she is going off alone. Cell Phone:
If it's trendy enough, Karako is happy to upgrade phones frequently, but this is her current model. Personality: +Action-Oriented: If there's a task to be done, Karako wants to do it, and she wants to do it now. She has no trouble motivating herself to 'get up and go.' +Trendy: Always having an ear to the ground, Karako feels the pulse of the city, new trends, gossip and rumors. She's always interested in any hot new tech or fashion. +Devil's Advocate: Karako is able to think outside of the box and imagine scenarios from multiple perspectives. Although this makes her argumentative at times, it usually leads to new insight into a situation. +Comrade: Though it takes a long time for her to warm up to you, once she considers you a friend, you're there for life. She does not handle betrayal very well. -Cynical: Karako gets along well with individuals, but doesn't like 'society' as a whole. It's not as though she wants to pick a fight with everyone for no reason, but instead, she has the sort of mindset that makes her the first to laugh at a bad situation, or the first to get angry when things get unfair. She expects the worst, and it's hard to shock her when things turn south. But in return, she tends to complain a lot about nothing, and take a pessimistic outlook on life. -Defeatist: While she is quick to start a task, and her self-confidence is usually sky-high, if she considers a task to be too difficult for her, Karako is even quicker to give up the ghost. She tends to lose all motivation after being defeated and needs at least some time to re-ignite her spark. Background: "It's a trash name given to me by trash... but it's mine now. I'll clean up my own mess." The Karasugawa family were a lower-middle-class clan of humble day labourers who owned a construction company on the outskirts of Kyoto. Their humility was their pride, and they named their first daughter in a manner befitting their worldview. 'Karako,' the 'empty girl.' For the first several years of her life, everything was going according to plan. she was a quiet child who liked to follow her parents' directions, learning about their trade and being indoctrinated into their lifestyle. Life was smooth sailing with little complication. But the rise of the new tech, new phones, MChips, the DgtWld, meant more demand for infrastructure, and an increasing demand for the Karasugawas' work. It had always been the case that after High School, Karako would be hired into the family business, but at age 15, her parents pulled her out before graduation to start work early. Karako had other plans. Without any warning, she left home with little more than the clothes on her back and some stolen money to travel the country. She took a bus from Kyoto up to Tokyo proper, and made a small life for herself there for the next two years. She found ways of making money, whether legitimately or through criminal means, and found various places to stay. For two years she lived the life of an urban teen, both the light and dark side, and in doing so, her entire outlook on life was broadened and shifted greatly. But these things can't last forever. At age 17, she decided that enough was enough, and it was time to come back home to see her family. When she returned, her parents were initially happy to see her, though that didn't last long. The quiet girl they had known was gone, and in her place stood a wild beast. She had her own money and her own life, and 'following orders' seemed incredibly low on her list of priorities. Her parents had a phone for work reasons and because it had become absolutely necessary, but Karako was totally into the new digital culture and the DgtWld - something that her parents had declared to be morally corrupt. For three years they lived an uneasy peace, with Karako's parents trying to guilt her into becoming the girl they wanted her to be, and Karako herself refusing sharply at every turn. She may as well have been spitting fire and brimstone. On her 20th birthday, her father decided that they had suffered enough abuse from this sharp-tongued and strong-willed girl. He publically denounced and disowned her, kicking her out of the house. He declared her morally bankrupt, and empty like her name, and that he would not stand for her criminal activities. Karako merely shrugged and left, deciding to move back to Tokyo. On her way, she received the call from the Gvn. She had been recruited into the ranks of the Correctors, which she accepted happily. Her prior criminal acts were to be pardoned (and limited in the future,) and she was going to be monitored, but she would still be able to hang around her delinquent friends (a sticking point she argued heavily.) Her new job came with new money, and she was able to rent an apartment in downtown Shibuya through her old connections. It was a good location for her, because so many potential hackers or other criminals were young people searching for attention. Her hand was always on the beating heart of youth culture. After completing training she was assigned on-call to the current group of Tokyo-based Correctors. Content with her new life, she spends most of her free time wandering the city, hanging out with her friends, or training in Tae Kwan Do, which she had learned during her previous stay for self-defense. She bought herself a wooden sword (though she keeps it wrapped when she leaves the house to avoid attracting too much attention,) and most people to see her walking around might think she was the daughter of some Yakuza bigwig, but that works just fine for her. Nobody screws around with her.

Roleplayer Sheet: Age: 15 Frequency Online: Nearly Everyday Responsibilities Offline: School, Working Out, doing chores, nothing that will dig into my time with the RP Favorite tv show or books: Atm, Sons of Anarchy and Game of Thrones (I'm reading GoT before I watch it) Why do you like to write/RP: I like to create stories. I like to make a character that has a personality I create and to see how a story I create pans out. I like to read other creations and improve upon my own and every once in a while, participate in a kickass rp. Character Sheet: Name: Isao Whitehead Alias in the DgtWld: Deddoai (Dead-Eye) Age: 24 Average Appearance: Corrector Appearance: Weapon of Choice: A .357 six shot revolver decorated ornate flames and skulls. It uses .357 magnum rounds and he carries all ammo in bandoliers on his person. He usually has around 50 bullets on him and when he runs out he has to resort to using his fists. The weapon is slow firing unless he fans it (repeatedly slamming down the hammer while firing to speed up the rate of fire) and he could easily be out gunned by modern weaponry. It's a short range weapon, meant for relatively close encounters. It packs a punch though, and when used efficiently, can be extremely lethal. Cell Phone Personality: +Born to be wild- Isao loves going wild, whether that be on the road or on the battlefield, sometimes he turns into an absolute animal. (Enables Ghost Rider form if GM allows it.) +Friendly- Isao is a pretty friendly guy, it's hard not to get along with him. -Brutal- Sometimes Isao's wild side can turn dark, and in the heat of battle, he can be merciless. +Thrill-Seeker- Isao is an adrenaline junkie, if his friends jump off a bridge, he might just be crazy enough to do it as well. -Loose Canon- Isao doesn't always think before he acts. +Loyal- Isao is as loyal as anyone can be to those he cares about. Background: Isao Whitehead was born on August 17th, 1998 to Ko Matsumura and Hunter Whitehead. He was born in Tokyo, Japan. From an early age, Isao's father played western Music in his home, especially Rock and Blues. His father taught him about the history of these genres, feeding Isao curiosity for this wonderful sounding music. Motorcycles and westerns were a big part of his childhood as well. He loved to watch Clint Eastwood and John Wayne with his father. As he got older, Isao's interests in motorcycles intensified, he learned how they work, what models there were, their history and he found a comic book series that was based around an Anti-Hero riding a motorcycle. Ghost Rider. He was fascinated by the total badassery of this hero that it affected some decisions later in life. His mother was less thrilled at this wave of western culture upon her child. She attempted to teach him about their samurai origins, but he wasn't nearly as interested. Eventually she just stopped trying. The older he got the more he adopted his father's interests. He and his father would go into the mountains to camp for days at a time. In high school, Isao was incredibly good at Science and Zoology. Part of this was due to the fact that his father would give him lessons when they ventured into the mountains. Isao was popular in high school, his friendly personality made him fun to be around. When he was 16, his father took him to America. He was amazed by the different customs and ways of life there, what America lacked in technology, they made up for in spirit and love for their country. Not to mention it was the home of the Harley Davidson motorcycle. He graduated high school in May, 2015. He went on a road trip with his best friend, Jurou, around the country. He entered college in march of 2016. It was around this time that the DgtWld became huge. Isao could understand the appeal but he saw what happened to people who relied on the internet too much and he was determined to stay in touch with reality. That's why he chose to major in biology, specifically a career path that would place him in the mountains. In 2017, Isao's father got him a Harley-Davidson Sportster for his 19th birthday. It was the best gift he had ever gotten. It came with a link to the DgtWld and a radio. He disabled the link to the Dgtwld first thing, but upgraded the radio to surround sound. Jurou was there every step of the way with him, except he was training to be an officer in the military. Isao was contacted by a mysterious caller in 2018. The caller explained that Isao has been chosen for a special secret program to help protect Japan from hackers. The caller would not disclose why, only that refusal is not an option. So for the next 2 years of college, Isao worked as a corrector that goes by the alias Deddoai. He chose his appearance based on his favorite comic book hero. Sometimes. He was trained for 2 years by someone called Bosu. Bosu said his training was complete a couple weeks before graduation. Both Isao and Jurou graduated in 2020. Jurou was sent to a military base on the coast and Isao got a job with a Federal agency that operates in the mountains an hour from Tokyo. So he moved back home, much to his parents' delight. Isao has been working as a biologist for two years and a corrector for four. He's had a steady relationship with his family and friends as well a doing good in his job. Everything is going well. Well, except for the fact that he can't seem to find a girlfriend. Maybe it's due to his 'weird' affiliation with western culture and the outdoors and that he's a secret anti hacker that poses as a sorta undead hell biker for the government. Nah, he just needs to find the right girl.

Co-GM reporting for duty! Also putting up my own character sheet for review by our almighty overlord.
Roleplayer Sheet:
Age: 20 Frequency Online: Daily, will be available to answer questions most days at most hours. Responsibilities Offline: University classes, daily exercise, social relationships, a few IRL tabletops. I won't be able to make IC posts daily, but I'll still be able to interact via OOC or PM most days of the week. Favorite tv show or books: Not much of a TV or Book guy- relationships and textbooks cover most of those- though I did watch some Game of Thrones and Breaking Bad to prevent myself from being ostracized by society. Most of my media viewing time is spent on youtube, and I do enjoy some thriller books from Dean Koontz and Lee Child. Why do you like to write/RP: I find RPing, poetry, and creative writing in general to be a good stress reliever and an excellent source of brain stimulation. The ability to play out concepts that form up in my brain-regions is also a plus.
Character Sheet:
Name: Takara Akihiko Alias in the DgtWld:Apex Age:26 Average Appearance:
Corrector Appearance:
Weapon of Choice:
Precision Rifle. In combat Akihiko uses a high powered digital rifle with a 10 round magazine. His weapon scope's magnification is adjustable, allowing him to be effective at medium to long range combat. His close range combat skills are limited to techniques he has learned while offline. Akihiko prefers to conduct combat frm afar and has a calm and methodical approach to combat. Akihiko's most recent upgrade allows him to create a digital hoverboard for him to use as a method of relocating himself. The hoverboard is capable of extending short digital 'fields' from its sides, increasing the overall width of the board to around 2-3 feet, allowing it to be used as a temporary/mobile source of cover.
Cell Phone:
Personality: +Logical- Rational and very practical, Akihiko is sharp witted and pays a great amount of attention to detail- from body language to information. Akihiko excels at tasks that requires thinking and logic. +Competent- Cool and collected, Akihiko handles stressful situations with ease, and is capable of performing- or figuring out how to perform- most tasks. +Intelligent- Naturally intellectual- bordering on prodigious, Akihiko's mind is highly active. He is extremely methodical and calculating with most of the things he does. +Responsible- As a combined result of his upbringing and past occupation, Akihiko is extremely efficient and is among the most responsible members of the Corrector team and often handles most of the team's logistics and planning. -Militaristic- Akihiko is a very "By the Books" person and demands order and organization. Every mission needs a designated leader and sub leader, alongside a practical plan and contingency- all the way down to the amount of ammunition needed. -Stiff- Bordering on cold and callous, Akihiko's methodical and organized nature leaves little room petty frivolities. He is a no-nonsense man and has no time shenanigans and immaturity. (+\-) Protective- As one of the older members of the team, Akihiko is highly protective of his teammates and will occasionally break his norms in order to appease or protect them. Positively, this can be seen as him being soft hearted and granting leeway for mischief-making. Negatively, this can manifest in him willingly walking into traps for the sake of his team. Background: The middle child of 3, Akihiko Takara is the second son of Lt. General Yoshiro Takara, commanding officer of Japan's Central Readiness Force. At a young age, Akihiko was immersed in the rigidity of military culture, and the ideas of pride and duty were instilled within him. Throughout his childhood, Akihiko was observed to be rather logical and learned extremely quickly, easily outpacing other children his age. As a child, Akihiko only saw his parents sporadically, as they were both busy with government related work. As a result, Akihiko and his younger brother spent most of their early lives under the care of their eldest brother. Developing a strong relationship with his siblings, Akihiko assumed the role of taking care of his younger brother as their eldest left for university. In high school, Akihiko scored exceptionally high marks. He adapted well as newer technologies started appearing- the DgtWld and the widespread use of phones and MChips. These newer technologies, coupled with Akihiko's progressive attitude and logical nature actually made it easier for Akihiko to excel in his classes and studies and helped propel him to the top tiers of his class. Upon graduating high school, Akihiko recieved a scholarship and was enrolled in the National Defense Academy of Japan in Yokosuka. At NDA Akihiko studied information systems and computers, specializing in DgtWld Security and information protection. Akihiko was slated to join the Japanese Self-Defense Force's Military Intelligence Command before he was approached by the Gvn with a different purpose in mind. The Gvn recruited Akihiko into a group known as "The Correctors". Allowing Akihiko to complete school alongside Corrector training, Akihiko was put through a specialized version of the JSDF's basic training. Here he learned firearms usage and combat tactics- for both offline and online purposes. For his first 3 years of service, Akihiko was part of the Corrector team in Osaka as a trainee. The majority of the Osaka team was like him- recruits and veterans gathered from military academies and backgrounds. The Osaka Team worked like a military/police unit, the only difference was that they were DgtWld operators as opposed to real-world operators. A top-tier anti-hacker team, the Osaka Team were one of the most highly regarded teams in Japan, with a high track record of completed missions. Fully completing both military and Corrector training at the age of 23, Akihiko was transferred to the Tokyo team as a support unit and potential trainer for newer recruits. Now having spent 6 years as a Corrector, Akihiko is among the senior members of the Corrector team in Tokyo. With his saved up wealth and Government connections, Akihiko has purchased a the top floor of a small apartment building in the Shinjuku Ward. After several secretive renovations, Akihiko has converted the apartment to a small base of operations from which he handles various manners of activities- from surveillance to information gathering. He spends what little free time he has on the streets of Shinjuku, at coffee shops or bars.

ROLEPLAYER SHEET
Age: 16 Frequency Online: I’ll be for a few hours between classes and for several hours outside of school. Responsibilities Offline: I’ve got two classes a day and no major responsibilities in sight. Favorite tv shows or books: Game of Thrones (I haven’t read the books), Brynhildr in the Darkness was really good, also general slice of life anime nonsense like K-On!, Haganai, and Papakiki. Why do you like to write/RP: I’ve just always liked the idea of creating a character and giving them a story to tell. I’m a pretty stale person in real life, so filling a character feels natural to me, like it becomes my identity while I’m writing for them.
CHARACTER SHEET
Name: Yukimura Kiku Alias in the DgtWld: Glitch Age: 22
Weapon of Choice: Magic Spells, she can formulate different ‘magic’ effects in the way that other Correctors formulate weapons.

Okay! I have a one on one to finish and a group RP to post to. I'll be editing this and mentioning people as I review their sheets. I'm also working on an essay that's due tomorrow. I would normally be in my AM class but it just got canceled so instead of going back home to bed, I'm staying on campus to get work done...*grumble* So expect this post to be expanded and edited. ^^' GM Disclaimer: Anything I say isn't meant to be a personal attack but merely advice from a GM who wants to have a balance and civil dynamic between characters. Any questions or extra information I need is just so I can understand your concept better. If you want to redo a concept entirely, that's fine. These are set in stone after all and like I said, skills, appearance and name online wise, can be changed in-game. When you edit what needs to be edited, mention me in a new post in the OOC and say what was changed and then you'll get a final "Accepted" and then you're welcome to post in the CS tab, both your roleplayer and character sheet. The quicker we get this out of the way, the better chance we have of using our momentum. @Hella Cute Some people list first name first or last, with Japanese names so by the way you call her Kiku, that's her name while her surname is Yukimura. Just wanna confirm my assumptions! Moving on! I'm glad someone picked magic, I used it once in the past but I'm going to need more specific spells (if that's what she uses) for her attacks and defenses. Since she dabbles in everything, I also have to assume her power won't be too damaging since the basics usually entail small skills. But then you also mention that her spells do the opposite, are powerful but slow. If they are slow, what kind of hit rate does she have? I would have to assume it's up to her fellow Correctors to help hold enemies down if they want to use her abilities. Is that an effective tactic people don't mind employing, especially if offline, she isn't very sociable unless the others go out of their way to make sure she's included? That's not a good recipe for success and taking her young age into account, she'd only been a Corrector for about a year, maybe a little more. Is she intimidated by those above her? Usually a new Corrector would have a very close proximity to those that take new members under their wing. Lastly onto the personality. I do think adventurous, reckless, and confidence do go together. However recklessness isn't something the Gvn would want to put money into. And if she is a bit of a drinker (I'd at least need to know if she's gotten any fines or any marks on her record for drinking) is she tapering it down or keeping it to days that she has off at least? Lazy is alright with me, it sounds more like aloof or disinterested, which is a little worrying but it could just be her young age...but again, bad habits tend to be broken the older you are and the more life experience is thrust upon you and considering she's the oldest of five, I'd assume she'd be a bit more reliable and responsible/self-aware. And you mention she has a one track mind and yet she's a Jack/Jill of a trades which ends up confusing me a little. If she has a one track mind, wouldn't she want to focus on one magical ability like say wind/air magic or water? In Closing: Your sample was fine. I just would like to know more about her magical powers, perhaps why she's a little reserved yet claims to be out going every so often, and how her vices end up not tipping her out of the Gvn's favor. When they're either tweaked or explained further, you'll be accepted~ You should also be aware it won't be the group's job to cater to your character's shyness/laziness. Correctors are expected to spend time offline together, if your character doesn't, that's her choice entirely but it will give you less Rounds to take part in and may hinder her development. I only say this to characterw who could give off "loner" vibes. I hate people to be left out or left behind due to how they've crafted their character and your vision could come alive in a different manner than what I'm previewing right now and if that's the case, I'd love to hear your take on things since she's your character and you know her better than I do but from a GM's standpoint, I'm just making concerns known. If/when you edit, let me know~ @TalijaKey Hello! I think I know him from someplace... So I'll need to know more info about the hammer in regards to how big it is compared to his body and how heavy it may be for him. His natural strength will be used in the DgtWld, so his upgrades later on, may be able to help lighten the hammer so he can execute multiple attacks. The charging factor is a little confusing since it makes me think lightening or something is coming into play, a bit like Thor... I'm not sure I'm comfortable with him being able to not be damaged. I would say in some cases, Correctors could get small mobile barriers that are small and randomly placed in proximity to their avatar but I don't see them as being able to eliminate a lot of damage, perhaps lessen a hard blow/ambush. And can you explain "spitefully" a little. I suppose it could go with determined but I'd need to know more about that. You history is fine, though it is a little hard to read. You talk about his grandfather and how he didn't approve his mother but then you flip back from the future to the present of the story and then move into the future again, the order of events (in the beginning 1-3 paragraphs) are a little unclear. You may want to edit or read through your CS, some words are misspelled or sentences seem stiff. Some words are wrong, I think you meant embarrassed but then said embraced at one point. Overall, the sample is a little worrying since there are a lot of mistakes, rather say just 2-3... Well I'm gonna go finish my 1x1, I'll be back to do one or two more before my PM class. >__>' Done with the 1x1, but gonna log off and focus on my essay. But I'll be back to do hopefully the rest tonight, if not tomorrow afternoon between classes. @TheMusketMan Whitehead is a really weird last name...not sure I'll be able to think about your guy without thinking about some kind of weird Indian or guy with weird acne (whitehead to blackhead idk). Erm moving on... Personality is hard to read mostly because out that blurb I get: +Charismatic and outgoing and then -blunt. The background about the personality just muddles it for me, you should probably just stick to the curt style everyone else is doing because some of the details like him smoking or liking Western culture don't really have anything to do with actual personality traits. To me, those are more quirks or mannerisms. I need to know his bare bones personality, not necessarily that he's a biker. You could then approach it by answering: What does being a biker say about him personally? He is free spirited, like freedom ('murica!?), etc? You do give us more in the history like him being friendly and positive but really those are synonyms and end up being redundant, rather than informative. Maybe cite HOW he was friendly briefly? I'm tempted to say military would be obsolete due to "world peace" being established and everyone pretty much staying in "line" with everything, but it isn't a huge deal, just be aware any military would be significantly downsized and used for more basic things like say helping communities make repairs after natural disasters or something like that. Has he ever been to America, if his dad is from there, and he's totally into it, I'd assume he'd have gone at least once right? You may want to specify his residence as well since it should be Tokyo or nearby the city. And the online appearance, I'll need to say would not start off with a flaming head. I assume after an upgrade after say, him finishing his third and final year of "training" he would have gotten the accessory of fake flames. And I also want to know more about his weapon. I'm under the assumption (correct me if I'm wrong here) that he can reload pretty quickly, materialize new bullets. Do they do anything or are the old fashioned simple bullets? And the bicycle thing is okay...I guess, just try not to use it too much since some of the group might not have that kind of transport and I assume that maybe his most recent upgrade...since with the flaming head and TWO guns and bike, it is getting excessive. Does he have zero defense and close combat skills? Just trying to weigh your guy's pros/cons and see if I have everything straight. And you keep calling him "collector" which isn't right, it's "Corrector" as in correcting the issues in the DgtWld, they're not collecting anything except maybe boatloads of cash. @Krauxis Finally, I'm getting to you! The other GMs have pointed one or two concerns and you've also been able to figure out where we might have issues with your submission. I'm still unsure about her skills. Physical attacks + a sword seem...too peachy for her. Sorta get what I mean? She also wouldn't have had multiple upgrades at her point in time, maybe 1-2 but from the sounds of it, you might be expecting 3+? And if she has had at least one upgrade (probably the most as well) she probably couldn't have developed such excessive speed, which you then turn around and say she hasn't had many upgrades so I would probably say to pick one "advantage" and polish it well with equal strengths and weakness and not try to pin too much on your character off the bat. Her defeatist attitude reminds me a little of Hella Cute's in which if they try something and fail, it knocks them a little too far down to the point I'd worry about over confidence and depression since I personally see people with high expectations of taking a risk, being able to understand with great risk, you should be able to bounce back. Does that make sense? Is her being cynical a little too excessive? It sounds like she's more moody or unpredictable. Being angry at the world usually tends to fade with age, unless life is SO HARD for her, which given her lush job, is a little hard to consider. If you maybe just took away "angry at the world" since it strikes me more of a teenager's petty angst and replace it with something more considerate like, she's prone to outbursts or being snippy without pausing to think twice/calm herself down? Ex: Irrational or a realist? So in terms of "criminal" behavior or marks on her record, what would we see? I don't think it's fair to suggest that her crimes would be pardoned per say, nor do I think she'd be used as a "double agent" for the hidden underbelly of unrest since she has a enough on her plate as a Corrector. If anything, I'd think the Gvn would have offered her the job on a probation for her sort of "turn a new leaf" for the sake of being stable/trustworthy/a good investment etc. Would that be okay or make more sense? Gosh, I really hope this isn't too nitpicky, I'm still reeling from a bad essay grade that I have completely rewrite tonight. But if still hangs out from time to time, with her delinquent friends, that would be fine, if you'd like to keep her "badass" side alive, off to the side. @Anonymous Finally, your turn! Everything seems to check out...not really a fan of parents/someone close dying, it just seems...I dunno misused/cliche these days. Is his death needed? Does it bring/take away anything from your character? Given how you handled it, it's alright though. Also the weapons are fine, though I may want you to add that use of the internal head could result in say, the blade breaking which could require more time to make a new one? And that the "Possessing a history in kickboxing has also granted Takeshi with valuable speed, agility, and exceptional strength." can't be an afterthought. How much history are we talking here? I'd say you'd need to cut it down to either speed/agility or strength. If you can tweak the weapon thing, he's approved and able to be added to the others. @NeoAC I'm glad you tweaked the weaponry but I'm having an issue with how he gets tapped for being a Corrector. We already have a few people who were "on the wrong side of the tracks" / "had a rocky youth" so I'm not sure if that should be his catalyst. Firstly, "He was still unhappy with his self-image though, and eventually he tried to hack into the system to get access to the code that would allow him to change his appearance so he would fit in with other people in Japan. It was this action that brought him to the attention of the Correctors." is confusing and might be where there's a misunderstanding. Self-image meaning what? His avatar? His avatar isn't something he'd be able to have let alone tweak. Real people don't get them online since they can't go into the DgtWld on their own, that it only acts as say something like virtual goggles but without giving them an appearance or anything like that. So I don't see why he'd need to try and hack to fix something (so he can fit in) which he shouldn't even have. If he did make an avatar and a program, he'd be a hacker and thus a target for termination from the Gvn and the Correctors. Hackers would never be employed as a Corrector because they can code and the Gvn does not want Correctors who can do that because it would mean chaos. So I think you need to adjust how he gets brought in, since right now it just doesn't add up with the rules set in place and again, I'd like to avoid bringing people with questionable judgement into an expensive dangerous program. If it's possible for him to be brought in normally, then he'd get a green light. @Krauxis Heyo. Sorry bout the time it took to get to ya. ^^; Cynical may be better as pessimism but hey semantics right? I guess in my head, pessimism isn't as "bad" as being a cynic but who knows! I think after the tweaks and discussions, I'd say you are accepted. @TheMusketMan Incidentally you've given us three a lot to talk about these past few days...which is why there's been some delay in regards to you being accepted or not. What I am uncomfortable with is his reliance on a bike (and when his fellow correctors don't have such a convenient or high upgrade means of transport + battering-ram) and the guy's obsession with a character that in 2022, is pretty obscure (hell, it's even obscure these days I'd say) and something I don't see a point in trying to replicate/hang on to. On top of that, the "guns" issue has yet to be fully explained or even resolved. You mention a vague number of reloads on his person but don't say how much. That does matter in an action sequence. If he has 2 reloads, he should be fine but if he has like 8, that's way out of line and considered overkill. If you had him do away with the bike (as we've said, it's too much) and just had two guns with few reloadable mags, we could work with it but I see the guns + bike as two overpowered weapons he hasn't earned. Either an upgrade can go to avatar changes like a flaming face or butterfly wings (without flight) or they go to power that helps a human go beyond usual limits. I have expressed an idea to the other GMs about offering to have you act as a temporary baddie but at this time, I don't think either you or us, are able to reach a middle ground where we're happy with things. You seem intent on keeping the concept as is and we're asking for modifications and for things to possibly change in the future (upgrades) so I can't accept you. I do want to thank you for your effort, time and consideration with trying to make this work though and if you're interested in being part as a temp character, the history would need to change but in this case, the online info with him as a Hacker, would be suitable to go up against since Hackers give themselves a lot more gusto than Correctors are allowed...

Character Sheet:
Name: Kimura, Alyssa Alias in the DgtWld: Havok Age: 26
Personality:
  • +Cooperative: Alyssa doesn't mind having to help out others, often the first to offer assistance or sign up for an assignment. If you ask her, she'll more then likely agree to it.
  • -Flippant: Not one to hold her tongue or try and be tactful about it. If she has something to say as unnecessary as it might be you'll hear about it however it might not be in the nicest tone.
  • +Optimistic: Your basic glass is full kinda gal. She simply believes that everything will work out if you strive for it. She's the one casually making jokes, or seemingly acting nonchalant about everything as if she knows that everything's going to be aces up.
  • -Impatient: Impulsive almost, Alyssa dislikes things that drag on, if she can figure out the best option easily she doesn't understand why people are still arguing about it for the next five minutes. She'd rather just go ahead and get it done then they can argue semantics the rest of the day.
  • +Hardworking: While not the most responsible person, Alyssa still delivers. She hates the idea of failing, or letting someone else down, so at times will willingly go to extremes to finished what she was asked of as long as it keeps everyone else safe.
Background: 15 October 1996 Born to an Ex-United States Marine and a Japanese Surgeon in a small clinic within the prefecture of Osaka was a small blonde haired baby girl. Alyssa grew up in high demand household, yet the pressure didn’t seem to affect the small girl, in a sense she began to idolize her parents as superheroes. Both of their jobs, while high risked, required them to be extremely reliable and capable; whether it was saving a life or a completing a mission both of her parents succeeded rarely accepting failure as a viable option, the cost of doing so was too high. The small girl thrived within that mentality, pushing herself through pre-school and elementary school to be in the top of her class and in the top tiers of her club activities. Even after her mother retired from activity to stay home and have a hand in their daughters upbringing, the small girl’s view on life didn’t change firmly believing that those who strive to be the best and keep others from harm would be the happiest. During her junior high school years, Alyssa would often be found berating the delinquent population of her year, more or less beating them upside the head with her philosophy on life. It wasn’t ill intended; she just thought they’d be happier that way, this overzealous nature of hers would get her into a certain amount of trouble with the school at times and ostracized by her fellow classmates, part of this was from jealously as the blonde half-breed continued to strive as the top of the school and in sports, lacrosse and volleyball respectively; bring home awards and trophies for her efforts aiming to gain the approval of her parents, showing them that she was just as capable. This continued on for the remainder of her junior high years rationalizing her lack of friends outside her sports clubs as necessary for a superhero’s path is often a solidary one speckled with visitors and companions. 2 March 2011 It was on the way home from her graduation ceremony that Alyssa was in her first and only car crash, a drunk driver had taken a curve too fast flying into the other lane as he over-corrected to avoid the guard rail crashing head long into her parent’s car. All she could remember was the brief scream of her mother as she tried to reach back and protect the girl, and the haunting sound of crunching metal and shattering glass. When she awoke later, which she would learn would be a few days; there was a small frail looking woman her blonde hair and pale blue eyes matching her mother’s looks. This woman, her grandmother she later knew, had flown in on the news of the accident. She told Alyssa what had happen during the brief time the girl had been unconscious, that her father had died on impact and her mother didn’t last the ride to the hospital. She was lucky to be alive. She would hear those and words of condolences for the next few weeks as she absentmindedly went through the actions of her days, thanking the well-wishers that came by, acting her part at the funeral; her hollow eyes empty enough to make a hardened man shiver, afterwards she was told she’d be moving to the United States to be raised by her grandmother. Her father’s parents had been strict and disowned him for the dishonor of marrying a foreigner. It was the first time Alyssa would experience the pain of losing someone, of learning that heroes could die, that petty things could kill such huge people. During the few weeks it took to arrange her school transfers, packing, selling her childhood home, the girl never said a word. Her eyes still seemed lifeless as she tried to adjust to life without her parents, this new woman was foreign to her, an unknown, she had no idea if she was a villain, a civilian, or perhaps another hero to show her how to live. 21 August 2011 Alyssa stood on the edge of the school grounds, looking at the sprawling building of the urban high school nestled in the confines of Chicago, Illinois. A small smirk playing across her lips as she straightened her back and glasses, confidently marching onto the grounds towards the main office. It was a start of a new life, a new mission as her grandmother would call it. During the few months of summer she spent living in her grandmother’s condo, a small house shoved into a box. The cramped space didn’t suite Alyssa well at first, but the view of the city from the bay window in the living room was something she was immediately drawn to, the bright lights at night twinkling like stars to her. The girl’s quiet streak lasted for maybe the first five weeks or so before her grandmother decided enough was enough, and took to making the girl speak the first thing that popped into her mind every time she wanted to go somewhere, eat something, or even use something. This back and forth battle continued for the next two weeks with Alyssa stubbornly refusing, giving brief one word answers as replies to the woman’s pestering questions. Eventually Alyssa’s impatient personality took over, having had enough of her constant nagging; a bit of a hypocrisy seeing she herself would constant push people to be better and do what was right as a child, she told the old woman what she thought of her, not caring to watching her tongue as some rather crass words crossed her lips. Her tirade was met by pearls of laughter and a bright smile from her grandmother as the woman patted her softly on the head, happy to see her granddaughter return to the happy zealous child she had received so many letters about. It was then that Alyssa had deemed her grandmother a superhero in her own right, one that fixes a person rather than saves them. It was also during her high school years at a rather rambunctious school in an even livelier city that she decided that’s what she wanted to do, was save people just like her parents. 17 July 2015 Shivering Alyssa stepped out of her new apartment, upon graduating high school she had applied and been accepted to Osaka Medical College, the same university her father had attended which meant that she was to move back to Japan. Her apartment over looked the park and castle of Osaka as well as near enough to the train station that she didn’t have to worry about buying a car or bike to make her way to way around the city. Hoping to follow her father’s footsteps as soon-to-be prominent surgeon with in the region Alyssa spent most of her first year studying and learning all she could once more claiming one of the tops spots not only within the university also within the country. She would assume that this was what caused the GvN to contact her with a job offer; she was hesitant at first having only just recently discovered and toyed around with the DgtWld using it mostly to keep in contact with her grandmother and friends back in Chicago. But with the offer of both training and enough pay to cover the rest of her education expenses, as well as the childish notion in the back of her mind telling her that she could be a superhero Alyssa took the job not knowing just what she signed up for. At first Alyssa used a female avatar during her training years with the Osaka branch of Correctors but was slightly coddled by the all-male team, the only one that expected her to do her job regardless of her gender was another trainee like herself, he only stayed with the team for three years while Alyssa continued to stay for another year and hone her skills as a Corrector and as a medical student. During her last year at that branch Alyssa would experience death once more, a new trainee who took the job as serious as anyone else but a small error on her part left him open to an attack that she was meant to take. This death shook her worse than her parents, no matter how many people told her it wasn't her fault she still holds on the being personally responsible for it. She soon began practicing combat outside the DgtWld with her seniors, throwing herself into it until she could see the improvements in her movements within the missions and assignments they took on. 23 January 2022 Alyssa walked out of the government building collecting the data she had requested, having just completed her 3rd and final year with a residency program at Tokyo Medical University Hospital to continue her studies in Neurology, wanting to study more on the affects the Microchips and DgtWld had on the human brain, if there was a way to create a blockade in the nerves system to keep hackers from murdering the user. She had moved three years ago to the center of Tokyo renting a small condo in one of the towering skyscrapers around the city, a small reminisces of her grandmother’s lodgings, the old woman had died peacefully in her sleep two years ago causing Alyssa to take time off from work and school to go bury her grandmother and arrange for her belongings to be liquidated and distributed where the old woman wanted them to go, most of it now belongs to Alyssa including the condo she was currently renting out to a distant cousin. Her skills and knowledge of the DgtWld grew alongside her studies for her profession, not wanting to give either up, as some would do. After all the GvN paid plenty enough that any other means of income were rather unneeded, but Alyssa still desired to save people inside and outside the cyber world, she could only be a super hero there for a little longer to say the least. However on joining the Tokyo team she switched up her appearance to a male avatar, not wanting to be coddled or sidelined because she was a woman. She was pleasantly surprised to run into the man she had trained alongside of back in Osaka, and that he was a meticulous as ever. When she’s not at the hospital completing her rounds or on a mission she spends her free time reading her text books at a coffee shop downtown.

Okay, so yeah, Kiku is her given name. I guess it gets a bit confusing considering that surnames usually come first in Japanese and there's like no consensus on which order it should go. I added a few spells that would work with her being the youngest of the bunch as well as an explanation of how I'm going to work in exertion. I got rid of the weapon traits and put in descriptions of spells to better explain what I was going for. The idea is now that she has skills to protect herself and deal damage, but she can only do one at a time. Being a jack of all trades was more about how she develops new spells, she doesn't choose offense over defense or vice versa, but that means that she can't develop high level skills unless she decides that offense is more important than defense (or vice versa). I'm going to see how the RP goes before she decides which is more important. I tweaked her laziness to make it more like "I don't have anything I want to do, hit me up whenever" instead of "I don't want to do anything, don't bother me" Her recklessness is more putting herself at risk than anyone else, so I think Gvn can give it a slide and she definitely doesn't drink while on duty. She's less reserved than before she joined, mostly because of the closeness of the Correctors. I put that at the end of her back story. Sorry for making an edgy loner character. XP I wrote it half-asleep and it definitely didn't sound that fun this morning. I also changed her corrector portrait. Will add more spells through roleplay as the need arises.

@Hella Cute Gotcha, some people do it one way, some do it the other, some refer to their own characters by their last name, it just all depends but knowing the difference is still pretty important. ^^; Glad you added some spells, that was always a pain when I had to deal with them. Would you consider making her one-time barrier (probably weak strength) as a Low level, Magic Fists up to Medium and keeping Arcane as Medium too and Bolt at Low? Just wondering, I sound super nitpicky ow. >__<' I just figure a melee attack (any) may be considered harder/more useful as a medium spell and likely used less often than the other two low levels. And everything else would check out fine now, thanks for the clarification. Many times, someone doesn't mean to make a loner (I can tell if it's intentional usually) character and it can still come off a little questionable. Her recklessness could also be considered a fierce loyalty so there's that possibility, verging on selfless perhaps? Would you be open to pushing her up to 22 or is your heart set on 21? Since she's still in the midst of university it may make things easier for meet ups if she was at least in her final year/able to have more freedom and less shit to do. Anyway I'm back to my essay, think it over and I'll pop back on when I can. Thanks for being totes understanding, some people get really defensive about their characters.

For the weapon I added length and weight for references. I redid so to say some bits there. The charging now referring to him changing the weight of the hammer up for one strong hit. But taking its time it appears as if he is charging. It wasnt my idea to make him hard to wound so I rethink the ability to raising his pain tolerance instead. I could add a timer for the raised pain tolerance bit too? not too sure if I explained spiteful well enough. About the back ground it was my first time writing, with out a check up afterwards. So mistakes are awaited, so that sample would be sort of the worst of me. I did noticed when rereading there were mistakes and found it silly how I mixed embraced with embarrassed up. Hope there are less mistakes now that I tried to fix them and it is easier to read? I noticed I ate up a few words and sentences I wanted to put in too. ^^; For posts I would reread them at least twice with each a day in between, to fix the things I notice are wrong.

@Genkai Yeah, I can totally move spells around, I had to tweak the exertion requirements while making the spells so I probably just overlooked something :P I'm going to leave the fists as low level though, but make them one time use like the shields She's probably not selfless, not entirely. Under like the right circumstances she might do something like that, but not all of the time. And uh, I could move her up to 22 too. Is uni an absolute necessity? I wasn't planning on having her have school after high school >.<
