some wish to fuse with machines
others wish to go into more natural path where instead of mechanizing the world we focus more on preserving and increasing the nature as we need that to live just as much

Humans are born weak, but throughout the ages we have made tools to cope for that. Or greatest strength is our ability to adapt and make ourselves better then what we are. Someday singularity will be the next step

Humans have a long history of changing our environment to our liking and fitting our survival on that note
to change our selfs by machines would be to go into the point of changing our world for us to survive towards changing out self to survive, genetic engineering would fall under that as well.

Animals greatest strength has always been their physical abilities while humans the the fact that we are sentient and have since been developing our brains further and further

True enough but you can't deny that while animals are able to adapt better to the environment humans are able to develop themselves further. As Darwin once said it's survival of the fittest however humans have the instinct to protect the weak like those with genetic disabilities but singularity in the future will ensure that even a human born weak can become strong through imprinting machinery into their DNA

ok I take that back, humans are still evolving just as animals, but as said, animals evolve physically and humans evolve mentually
the key here is, using the mental evolution we make we create other types of physical evolutions that our bodys were not supposed to make by nature.

I work In a place with a lot of mentally disabled people (drew the ahort end of the stick when it came to some help of a job coach. Got one so lazy he kept looking in the same area I already had reported It would fail and so he dropped me at this place. Thank god I may get to work as an electrician soon enough, I mean its a pretty big difference between people who have difficulties with folding a box and stuffing beer cans in it and myself with an IQ of 135)

Singularity... Explain what you mean exactly...

I mean, fair enough I could go back and read, but honestly, where evolution is concerned there is no real cut and dry answer. Multiple paths in my opinion. It all depends on when happens to the earth, and whether or not we can actually adapt. Will it even be habitable, and would humanity concretely move forward into a single form of evolution.

Meh, I'm babbling... But yeah... I know... I could ask, but... It's just like... Not possible scenario I've played out feels right. Like nothing I think of seems to be plot efficient. It all seems too plot convenient, or too easy in the sense that "this feels a bit rushed, or dumb..."
