Name: Zugos Velarium
Age: 19
Sex: Male
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Appearance:
Zugos is tall, if not a little lanky, but years of intensive training has done much to help with that. One of his most distinguish features are his mismatched eyes, the left one is bright blue, while the other is a reddish brown.
Height: 6’1’’
Weight: 158lbs
Personality: A bit of an individualist, Zugos doesn’t open up to people easily, which means the number of friends he has isn’t that big. However, he knows how to act accordingly in social situations, often appears to be quite friendly and outgoing to strangers. Though a bit judgmental, he does his best to be polite to most people, and keeps most of his opinions to himself, unless asked. Nevertheless, it isn’t a good idea to enrage him, as he hides a nasty temper. Though not one to solve problems with violence, it is often the first solution he thinks of, until his more rational side cuts in. A pragmatic fighter, he cares little for entertainment and sportsmanship, though his job at the Coliseum has always demanded otherwise.
History: Son of a travelling songstress, Zugos had been wandering with his mother from cities to cities at a young age. It was around the age of 8 that his power manifested, to his mother’s surprise, as neither she nor any member from her family tree has ever possessed the gift. It must have come from his father, though even she couldn’t say for sure where the man was. He left soon after Zugos was born, leaving promises about the reunion that never happened. Nevertheless, she decided to settle down, working at a tavern while looking for someone to train her son, lest his talents go to waste. Eventually, one of the frequents at her tavern, who was also a blue magician of some skills, agreed to take him in. Years of training paid off, Zugos took to fighting like fish to water, and later, he even surpassed his master in terms of skills. He found himself a place at the Coliseum, earning a living with his gift. However, his fights didn’t have much entertainment value, as he often tried to win them as fast as possible, ruthlessly exploiting any weakness he could find, so he remained an unpopular fighter. It didn’t bother him that much, since it was never fame that drew him to the Coliseum, but a chance to do more than petty tricks with his gift.
