Wow. I actually went as a makeshift Ruby for Halloween at a school party. o.o That was interesting, except I was lacking Crescent Rose, haha. >> I would actually love to post a picture but it isn't that great and I need long boots and asdf. Aw well!

haha, yah RWBY has a pretty interesting cast. Though i have to say i'm not the biggest fan of Ruby, but she's still cool regardless. Though i think sometimes the Fanfic world just goes too far out for me haha, so i tend to avoid just about most fanfictions XD

Ditto. I love all of the characters, especially the complex ones like Blake and Weiss. I used to be a member of RWBYForums.com, and I was the only one who tried to see Weiss' side of the story when she and Blake were arguing about Faunus and the White Fang.

I'm hopelessly in love with it. The world and weapons so far are my biggest favorites(I geek out over fighting styles) and the cast so far is lovable. Still amazed at how different Ruby ended up being opposed to what everyone assumed due to her trailer but it would break the show if she was stoic.
Am I the only one to think Penny is not a robot? I feel like I am...

Actually the Future AU is a fanproject. It seems to be a tread of AU projects popping up. Like one called Rose Court which is about Ruby actually being a Princess and is being made into a actual visual novel aka fanproject. I was informed of this by my friend who is also a fan. I enjoy fanfics however it seems to me all that that are is mainly OC teams and OC stories but alot of them are interesting when it comes to the pairing fics. I actually have written a fanfic for rwby well two. The series also has alot of theorys.

The big thing people are wondering about is the gravestone and Summer Rose. What i got from the news it was implied volume 2 will take a slightly angsty feely approach which hopefuly will not include alot of death. Also do you guys think Summer Rose could be Ruby's mother or someone close. I mean if anyone payed attention to the lyrics of Red like Roses prt 2 . Alot of fans see Summer as a sibling or mother ..

Dunno, liked plenty of other popular stuff that didn't seem to have nearly as many fanfics. Or rather, the community seems way more into them.

I think it's possible that Summer Rose is Ruby's mother. Although it would conflict with Monty stating that neither Ruby or Yang were adopted, nor are they half-sisters or cousins. The plot thickens.
As for fanfics, I've written two: "Ryu no Ikari", a short story set shortly before the start of the series, and its prequel "Welcome to Beacon", following my OC Jett Ryu's first team.
