As to Holtland's location, I am essentially eyeballing equatorial to southern hemisphere real estate, preferably with at least one neighbor with bad-to-hostile relations so that I have a supply pipeline for the guerrillas.

I know, it's bad form to set up a nation strictly as a plot piece and enjoy watching it burn a bit, but that's how the RP concept was created in the first place.

In regards to military numbers, anyway we should decide on them without it being unfair?
Looking at So Boerd's active duty component total, they have 985,000 with a total population of 64,000,000. That amounts to 65 population per 1 soldier for a mid-sized army.
I propose a system to regulate the number of military forces our nations own just to provide a sense of fairness, course, some nations may vary as they're all different. Perhaps something like this:

Tiny= Total population divided by 81 (or 130 if the differences aren't enough)
Mid-sized= Total population divided by 65
Massive= Total population divided by 49 (or 33 if the differences aren't enough)

I'll be happy to kick the Holtland Bush War into high gear so you guys have a place to start the proxy wars. A really nasty ambush by insurgents on the KSA/Army at Route Vatalan 6 that represents a huge escalation of guerrilla activity.
