Whoami is correct, MAS are for the most part piloted via sticks, pedals and buttons, with displays, switches and keys essentially at your lap. However, the main 'display' for a MAS is kind of like the Titan from Titanfall's display screens, in which the walls of the cockpit form the main display. There is also a neural link between the MAS and Pilot. The neural link is for monitoring squadron biometrics as well allowing the pilot to control the movement of the MAS's head with his own head, as well as aiding with fine motor control of the unit's hand. This neural link is fairly minor and is only one way, so if your MAS's head gets blown off your brain won't short out with it, you'll just lose the ability to see anything from within your cockpit. This is combined with a helmet HUD which provides information such as ammunition counts, personal and squadron biometrics, communications information, incoming feed, etc. Information can be transferred from the helmet to the displays on the MAS via neural link. Each MAS also has a built in computer AI. AI also aids with fine motor control, and responds to voice commands as well- so instead of having to key open a communication channel manually(which you still can), you can tell the AI to do it for you.

Powered down its defenses to add a shotgun. Hows it look now for a CQC unit? Also, as for a comment, I have to say that Whoami's Alexis accurately fits the description of a young fish in a koi pond. Hell. I feel like that already at university...not many young students doing neurophysiology. She does do a good job in trying to covey the attempts to placate more curmudgeony members of her crew. The fastest way to a soldier's heart is through either his pants or his stomach.

Done. Using the Spas-12's rate of fire of 4 shots per second, I made it so that the shotgun could ahve 25 seconds of rapid fire. Which should never be needed on a shotgun.

Quick question, Myke. Could I perhaps have Disposal's pneumatic fists be on both hands? Except, his right is concealed under his main weapon, and only comes into use when he's either out of ammo or has no other choice? Doing this of course is bad because his GAW simply falls off and it would be difficult to put back on unless you're with a crew of engineers, but could I add it without adding more weight and power? A brawler needs both fists if he is to box.

If it ruins his GAW, I don't really see a reason for his machine to have a second fist. I don't know many designers that would purposely design a weapon system that wrecks another

@vietmyke Really, its more of a back-up weapon than a main. He makes do with his single fist, but if he's ever forced to, he'll pull them both out. You think if I add 2 PWR to it, I can have it so he can reattach the GAW, but it would take a minute or two to get it back to operation?

I guess I'll allow it without the added power requirement, however I won't allow you to reattach the gun until it is retrieved and taken back to the carrier. Also, you'll have to make sure your character or someone else's character grabs the discarded gun

Alice’s android body was designed to closely resemble a human, the engineers believing that a human-like appearence would allow her to better connect with her human partners. A mechanical body is hidden under a human exterior, which resembles a young woman in her early twenties of Latin American descent, with dark, glittering eyes and black short-cut hair. And groomed to be a pilot, Alice almost constantly wears her pilot suit, even sometimes with her helmet, whether she’s in her MAS or not. Name: “Alice” Age: 1 Gender: Female Callsign/Codename: Alice is referred to simply as her designated name "Alice", though some may informally call her "Ally" Kills: 41 Psychological Analysis: Being an AI, Alice isn’t really a normal girl. Being conditioned precisely for combat, she is passive, quiet, and generally obedient to her superiors, though due to her synthetic nature, she is naive in social situations. Even after a year of being part of a team, she still has troubles understanding others, and a tendency to act awkwardly outside of enacting orders. Despite this, Alice has begun to grow, showing a somewhat sweet and amiable, if a tad sarcastic, side to herself, and usually finds herself doing her own thing off the battlefield. Logically as an AI, she is very intelligent, and she even enjoys learning new information. She is somewhat of a jack-of-all-trades, being capable in a number of skills and areas of knowledge. Another notable trait is Alice’s temper. Inside of her is a deep-seated anger that she doesn’t quite understand, but possibly may be a glitch in the programming of her emotions. She finds herself very quickly frustrated by failure, among other things, and it fuels a drive, an “itch” for aggression and physical violence. In warfare, this shows in her brutal, even slightly impulsive style of fighting. While being on the battlefield seems to work as an outlet for her anger, at times she feels concerned about this and feelings of anxiety whenever she hasn’t been given orders to follow. She even wonders about her own selfhood and whether if she is nothing more than an attack dog to be sicced on enemies, or maybe something more. Military Record: Alice officially emerged almost two years prior, and was “raised” as part of an experiment to develop an efficient android to pilot a specially designed MAS. Ever since she could remember, she was exploring the art and science of warfare, from history, strategy, the ins-and-outs of MAS technology. After being introduced to her distinct mechanical body and adjusting to sentience and kinesthetics of a physical form, her preparations continued and she trained in many forms of martial arts and the piloting of her MAS. Eventually, it was determined she was fully prepared for duty, and assigned to the 7th MAS team of the 101st Legion. Over the course of a year, she excelled in active service. She promptly began racking up her killcount, and in a matter of months has very nearly earned her Ace. Very quickly Alice has begun to prove the experiment a success as she’s become a functioning part of her team. Equipment: A .45 caliber service pistol, and of course all the physical benefits of an advanced android shell.

SOL-110-EX Eagle

Appearance: Designation: SOL-110-EX Eagle MkIV SOC. Because of it's rabbit-like appearance, some have taken to calling it the "White Rabbit" Role: Short to mid-range assault, also serves as a designator via network interface with the Lincoln Chassis: Light Engine: Tri-Core Engine - 15 PWR Operating Time: 6 Hours Description: The SOL-110 was developed alongside Alice, specifically for her use. And much like her, It is an efficient, formidable and versatile machine. Originally designed with power and speed for the front-lines as a mid-range shock troop, Alice proves it functions just as well at short range despite the limitations of a light chassis. However regardless of it's design and Alice’s skill, it is still fundamentally a light MAS, and thus lacks hard defense against strong enemies. Systems: M10-EX “Scorpion” Experimental Modular Rifle - EKP 5WT 5PWR - A unique rifle built with two different “modes” that can be switched between the two when the situation demands it. The first mode is a default machine gun that fires average ammo suited for close-range. For mid-range combat, the barrel extends and the gun fires heavier rounds semi-automatically to deal more damage at higher distances, but at a slower rate. Additionally, Alice has had it modified by attaching the blade of an enemy MAS's abandoned alloy combat knife as a makeshift bayonet. The short-range ammo magazines hold 100 rounds, and the mid-range ammo magazines hold 50 rounds each. Dual Shoulder Mounted Missile Launchers - Missile Launcher 3WT 2PWR - Two single-barrel mid-range rocket launchers mounted on both shoulders, holding five missiles each. These launchers each fire a single missile at a time, though the power and speed of the missile makes up for it’s slow rate of fire, with a shot from both launchers being able to destroy an enemy AS Wrist Mounted Shotguns - Ballistic 1WT - A pair of light shotguns built into each of the Eagle's arms, each carrying 32 slug magazines. Most notably, they can be cocked via motion, such as Alice pumping the Eagle's arms, or beating it's fists against each other. Shield Class 2 - 5WT 5PWR - While the Eagle's shields are no match for more equipped adversaries, they at least stand a chance against Coalition mooks.
