In a sudden motion his seat, at the time Peter chest, stood up causing the not so amused harpy to fall off him in surprise and land face first into the moist floor. He moved up from the floor just a bit seeing Peter pacing around complaining . He hummed in a not pleased fashion. Standing up and ruffling his poor feathers to get some of the dust off. He watched Peter for some more moments. It wouldnt be nice to trip him, humhum concluded. Hearing Luka talk to someone, he shifted his attention over.
Walking pass, Peter towards Luka, Humhum did do something he saw humans do all the time. Slapping him over that metal hat thing he tended to wear.
''Luka to who are you talking mmm?'' He asked, looking over and noticing the creature. ''Hello mmm... Are you mmm long here? '' He waved at the creature in question grabbing one of the rusty bars with his claw. Starting to pull at it. Letting pretty much his silent anger at the bar out. It did him good as he started to flap his wings, tugging at it with lot of force. The claw clenching even more thigh around it as if he wasnt able to deiced if he wanted to pull the bar out or clench it dust. It did worked calming at humhum after a bit. Taking a short break from that activity. ''Do you want mmm out too, like us mhm? Maybe we can help each mmm other?'' He tilted his head at the neighbour prisoner creature before listening carefully as he went to his activity of tugging vigorously at the rusty bar.

Setheran the monster, watched them, all thoughts of trying to chew his way out lost. He could escape right that moment; he knew he might have a good chance at escaping. The problem was that he didn't have a guaranteed chance to escape, because a hundred guards would overpower him, with the organization and cleverness of their commander.

But getting a random group of misfits to help him would make it very much more likely to escape. So, he withdrew his snout from between the bars, and coughed several more times, as he made his way to the edge of the door. He appeared to be looking for something in particular, as he dragged his snout along the edges of his door, nudging each spot where the bolts holding the door to the hallway were at.

And in a minute, he had pushed out all the pins in the stupidly-designed door clearly meant for dumb creatures, and the great door came crashing down into the hallway with a loud bang!

And then Seth the creature stepped out of his cage, looked back and forth, and then spit on the tops of the neighboring cell's bars, where the metal met metal at the very top, against the ceiling. A moment later, the tops of the bars were melted through, and Seth took a bar in his teeth, and veeerrryyyy slowly began bending it out, into the hall, starting to make a hole.

"What the hell is that?" gulped Artemis, rolling onto his front. He watched through the bars of his cell fearfully as the big creature lumbered towards them. "Woahhh, hold up a minute, big boy. I'm not very tasty, you see, I'm a fish who has been out of water for a while now..." He watched in horror as the monster spat on the top of the bars and burnt the bars. "Jesus Christ...." gasped Artemis, slowly flopping backwards in fear. The creature took a bar in its great jaws and slowly began bending the bar in a downwards direction. "Now come on, now, we don't need to do that" soothed the blobfish, a crack in his voice revealing his fear. This creature was obviously trying to break in and eat them. There was no other explanation for it.

Images of Artemis's body oozing blood and guts in the creatures mouth flashed through his mind. He might be immortal but goddammit, that would hurt! "Seriously, boy, you don't have to do that" whispered Artemis, finding himself in the very back corner of the cell. He whimpered in fear before noticing his companions looked unfazed by the creature at their door. "Yeah, don't worry guys, there's just a huge freaking monster breaking into our cell, I'm probably just overreacting here!" he barked sarcastically. "Sorry that I don't want to be digested over the course of next week and slowly push myself out of a monsters rect-OH JESUS".

The creature had broken down the bars and Artemis was pretty sure he'd shit a small stone.

Once the upper parts of the bars were melted the one bar Humhum was tugging much easier gave in to him, bending into the cell. He hummed much more pleased. The friendly creature was bending them outsider and Humhum decide to let him do that.
There were others things to get done. Someone would have to carry their still passed out friend alpaca and the too slow for escaping fish.

Walking over to the blob fish who for some reason was going father and father into the corner. Shrugging it off as something Artemis tended to do a lot beside the complain like talk he often had. Smiling at him and humming he tried to complement him. ''Dont be silly I am sure you taste great. mhm mhm mhm~ '' Humhum reached his leg out his claw grabbing around his fish friend. ''Some one mhhhh has to carry Hee~na too mhm~'' He pointed helpfully deciding to not slow himself by carrying her, she was heavier than a fish.

Humhum holding Artemis in his claw flattered easily out the now several outside bend bars. He balanced easily one one leg the fish in his claws pretty much in eye level with the helpfully creature. ''Thank you mmmhm~ We should go left I can feel mmmmmuch~ fresher air that way. mmm'' He patiently waited for all the others to get out before setting on. He will have to groom himself for hours the moment they were outside.

Luka trotted over to the unconscious Heena. He nudged her a little, but he got no response. They should probably leave, but Luka wouldn't be able to lift the unconscious Alpaca. Perhaps their new monstrous friend could help them instead. He trotted over towards the creature, with the intention of perhaps making a new friend.

"Can you tell us your name, mister?"

Setheran eyed the creatures intelligently, taking in the smaller forms of what may be, perhaps, his new companions. While the creature's mind slowly ate away at his own intelligence, his morals and thoughts, he couldn't just leave them here.

So instead, he hopped through the small gap, having to twist his head to the side to fit, since his horns jutted out farther on each side than anything else, and bared his teeth at them all. Except, he wasn't growling- rather, his teeth had folded into his mouth, leaving little slits in his gums and worthy of a name like "toothless." Then he approached the passed out long-necked sheep thing, and gently took it in his mouth. Being larger than all the other creatures inside the cell, it didn't take much to lift it, thought he feared his saliva might dirty its wool, he didn't think it'd be that bad.

So he turned and hopped out, ignoring any attempts to speak to it. He didn't try to speak- he already knew he couldn't. Instead, he did what he did know how to do- stared at the sand shark's eyes and used a limited form of telepathy to send a series of images, mainly of letters- S-E-T-H-E-R-A-N. His name. Next, he caught the fidgety harpy in his gaze and sent a series of images of them riding on his back. The harpy he could handle, even with the panicked slab of talking flesh, but he didn't think he could handle a... metal suit thing.

The images were a surprise to Humhum, it took him a few moments to guess that the creature staring at him was the cause. First time receiving a telepathic message is distracting and unusually. It was lucky there was a series of images making him hum as his response. Shifting his balance on one leg he was standing on, he spoke.

''I prefer to fly mmmhmm, I am quite fast.mmm I could mmm hmmm keep up.''

There was a little bit of pride involved. He was far from the fastest in his colony but he was still fast. He wanted to prove it and show that he could keep up with anyone running. Even a interesting beast like his new friend. On the other hand Humhum was quite nice. Offering a compromise.

'' But if you insist mmm I may instead of riding mm just sit on your back. mhm mhm~ Either way mmm we should go...mmm Peter hurry up mhm. ''

He turned around to check if someone was coming, not seeing anyone he let go of the blob fish. catching Artemis before he hit the ground with the same claw, but now making him face the opposite side than Humhum. The harpy simply thought if there happen to be something behind him Artemis will see it and be really loud about it.

Artemis blinked in confusion as he was dropped and caught again. "Oh, okay, bird-man, just throw me around like I'm a football" he muttered to himself. "Sure, lets use the immortal virgin blobfish as a ball to throw at each other, that sounds great". The blobfish had calmed slightly as he saw the monster was not a monster at all - it understood Luka and had scratched its name into the floor with its horn. Well, perhaps it was still a monster but at least it was a sentient monster. As he shifted slightly in Humhum's claws, he glanced around him. The corridor was long and dark, with paved flooring with hay strewn everywhere.

"God, I'd love to roll in the hay sometime" he said out loud. "No, Humhum! I only mean that metaphorically! It was a joke, a joke! Don't throw me into the hay!" Artemis calmed himself somewhat and looked around at his companions. Peter, the metal man and Heena, the alpaca-llama thing, still stood in the cell, motionless. "Well, Jesus Christ, guys, don't let us hold you back" he said sarcastically. "Are we supposed to carry you on this adventure or something? We're trying to discover ourselves, not how freakin' heavy a man in a diving suit is!"

The blobfish sighed. "Well, anyway, seeing as this sentient-monster-thingy isn't going to eat us, we should get out of here. Which way?"

"My Lord!" General Suckfudg shouted, running in from a doorway beside the throne, "The prisoners have escaped!"

It was then that he noticed that all of the other soldiers had gotten down onto their knees and were crying with their king.

"For god's sake..."

He ran around the throne until he was in front of the king.

"My lord!" He said again, making sure the king could hear him speak, "The prisoner's have escaped!"

"How is that possible?!" the King said incredulously,

"It seems they had assistance from the beast in the opposite cell!"

"Damn it!" the King cried to the heavens, [c]"Why must this happen to me! Have my sacrifices not been enough? I will not let all of my effort be in vain!"[/b] He turned to a nearby soldier, the tears drying on his face leaving behind a golden glow. "Release the Consumer of Worlds!"

Behind him, the soldiers gasped.

"B-but my lord!" the soldier said, "What about the Prophecy?"

"I have read the prophecy hundreds of times!" He said, "I know what risks I am taking, but they cannot be allowed to continue any further!"

The soldier hurridly ran off to release the beast.

"For the good of the world, they must die." He said.

"What's that sound?" Luka asked.

It sounded like there was a tornado just outside the walls, but they were deep underground, it couldn't have been a tornado. Suddenly, there was an almighty roar and the noise stopped.

"Um..." He said. There was silence all about the dungeon. "What was-"

Suddenly, an almighty crack! was heard and the back wall of their cell suddenly shattered into dust and was sucked into a gigantic mouth! The mouth was so massive that he couldn't see anything past it, and then it started to loose chains and bones into its mouth. The suction was so strong that wind started to howl, and he could see Peter was getting sucked in!

"Peter! Noooooo!" But he could do nothing as Peter's metal form was slowly pulled into the yawning abyss of the creature's mouth. It was all he could do to hold pull himself from bar to bar, struggling towards the hole where the others were. Something large and white flew over his head, and he looked back to see...

"No! Not Heena too!"

But he could barely hold on as he was, there was no way he could save her. He struggled towards his friends, until his feet could touch solid ground.

"We need to run!" He shouted over the wind, the wind wasn't as strong but he could feel its strength growing quickly. He picked up Artemis in his teeth and took off as fast as he could, hoping that none of the others would meet the same fate.

Humhum was about to trow the blob fish on the hay as he was asked before Artemis changed his mind. ''You can be confusing. mhmmm.'' He replied waiting for the okay to start moving out.

He picked up the sounds of wind? Well thats sure is nice. Wind was always such a nice thing.... He changed his mind when the source of it started to appear. A beast mount crunching away towards them, starting to inhale pulling them. The harpy started to flap his wings as fast as possible resisting the current of air. This wind was definitely not a nice one. In panic his claws got stronger around the blob fish while the free one grabbed onto the opposite cell bars. Holding onto it for his dear life.
Seeing when his friends got sucked away into the mount. His eyes big in shock. But if he tried to catch them he would have to let go and....

"We need to run!"

That was what he wanted to hear, he didnt need to be told twice. Breathing in he gave his all flapping his wings and grabbing on the ground with his free claw. He run away choosing a direction at random. Most important was not to be there anymore. Ducking his head when some chair flow over his head and into the darkness of the mount.

"Oh lord, could this day get any worse?" sighed Artemis as he was whisked into the open mouth of Luka. He wasn't particularly worried that his other companions had been sucked into the stomach of some great big, dirty monster - they hadn't been contributing much to the story anyway. As Luka ran down the hall with Artemis in his mouth, the blobfish became uncomfortably aware of how disgusting the inside of a Land Sharks mouth was. Especially Lukas mouth, who could eat nearly anything. In his teeth, tree branches, fire hydrants and what smelled like a Smeg fridge were all munched up and stuck in the landsharks gums. His breath wasn't much better. Before, when Artemis had stayed several metres away from the Land Shark at all times, the smell had been bearable.

But oh God, sitting in Lukas mouth, the smell that had fermented in the Land Sharks mouth had gone through every orifice of Artemis body. The worst part was he couldn't lift a flipper to cover his blobby nose. "Wow, Luka, I'm impressed that you've kept your dental hygiene at a dentist-improved level!" gagged Artemis. "Really, buddy, keep up the good work. I hope I have the breath and teeth of land shark some day".

As they rounded the corner, Artemis could feel bile swelling at the bottom of stomach. He wasn't even sure if it was anatomically possible for a blobfish to vomit but he didn't want to find out. "Right, Luka, it's been grand but staying in your mouth for more than one post is going to drive me crazy!" called Artemis, flopping forward to the front of the Landsharks mouth. With an almighty grunt that echoed down Lukas throat and bottomless stomach, the blobfish launched himself out of the land sharks mouth. "Good god" he muttered as he rolled across the ground, acutely aware that he stinking of saliva. "I smell like a sewer" he moaned, rolling onto his front and beginning to flop down the hall as fast as he could.

Which was faster than usual. "Oh my lord...Luka! Your saliva has some kind of...slippery quality! I feel like I'm on ice!" grinned Artemis as he slid down the hall as fast as Luka could run. Behind him, a trail of slimy Land Shark saliva formed, showing exactly where he'd gone. "I feel like I'm in the ocean again! This is the best thing ever! Why didn't I come into your mouth before, Luka!?" he exclaimed.

"Not like that. Get your mind out of the gutter, dirtbag" snarled the blobfish to the reader as he slid past.
