Liberation Day

I enjoyed the first two games, and now Liberation Day is coming soon.

BTW, the game also somewhat reminds me of the Falling Skies :D

I actually played sunrider for like... a day, and yeah, It does feel similar at times. Just replace the Captain/protag with Whoams, and let almost all of the pilots stay female. Cut out the cute/annoying XO, and you have it.

Actually, change the XO to be much more annoying, male, and more annoying, and useless(Ava is hell as useful, I use the Sunrider more than any others. Except maybe the Liberty, but that's because of repairs.)

I too play Sunrider, and yeah I use the Sunrider as a Kinetic killboat, ramming cannons up the enemy's arse, with my second most used being the Seraphim. Nothing like that damn sniper rifle, let me tell ya.

Well, Paladin is also pretty nice, her Kinetics are almost on par with the Sunrider's own.

But the best thing about Kinetics, is that resounding "boom" of those cannons~

Damn that'll be nice, those Rockets were pain in the ass to fight against. And yeah, Paladin is pretty good too, probably my second most used Ryder. Given my own military aspirations, I even managed to not hate its pilot (Which, if I understand the fandom right, is a damn achievement)

One of the last vessels, and also supposedly the first assault carrier in the universe.

Pretty sure it's still being debated on whether or not PACT had assault carriers before the Sunrider was wrecking havoc on their fleets.

Although, the Lincoln also has that WMG akin to the Vangaurd Cannon. And while Yuu is similar to Sola, her MAS is more like the Paladin's. Heavy armor, just about all kinetics, and lack of melee :D

Although Icari and Kryska(Phoenix and Paladin pilots respectively) act like a married couple~! It's so cute~!

The WMG or other "main cannons" mounted in the center hull of the ship is such a common trope though, it's mainly rule of cool by this point.

Probably have to purge the shield, and any kinetic ammunition on the return trip XD
I'd imagine the shield itself being a good amount of weight :D

Also, would there be a part at some point where the 7th would all be fighting MAS-less?

I had actually been wondering the same thing since, when I re-read the lore in the opening OOC for the unpteenth time, I noticed it said all 101st pilots received training in advanced infantry tactics

That's for situations like Reaper, Princess and Hex are currently in right now- Running around without a MAS. Not the ideal situation, but it can happen, and when it does, yall will know how to do the thing.

Fair enough. Not like there's a downside to your pilots knowing the barrel of an AR from the stock.

Well, if Yuu ever gets stuck in a combat zone without her MAS...she's basically the equivalent of a combat engineer XD
That's about it.
All she's got is a standard battle rifle, and a weaponized pen.
