@Angel EyesI'm still wondering what a co-planner does myself. Haruna seems to have decided I'm to be one too, while all I do is scold our GM [while procrastinating heavily], so maybe giving scoldings is our job?

They're harder to keep lined up, so in theory, yes

Funny thing about handguns/revolvers, the first time I shot a .45 magnum, I realized that it had more recoil than a Mossenburg and was a hell of a lot louder. Scared the crap of me.

Also, have you tried shooting an elephant gun recently? :3

Would you like to keep a cooked Peking Duck as a pet after Kae does god knows what and probably turns it into a smurf duck (durf? smuck?)?

Hell yeah. It has character.

I think their line of thought was that if I could do it with a bow I should be used to aiming things so a pistol isnt to far off considering I also use a crossbow as well every now and than.

I can't agree with that, Pistols are easier to aim than Rifles, although they're similar in such a fashion. The key is getting a good sight picture for both.

(After you have your rifle/carbine properly sighted in of course! ^_^)

Rifles are a little trickier since you also have to account for wind/bullet drop distance for long-range shooting. That and controlled breathing is more critical for rifles, from what I've experienced. At first, getting the sight on target, proper trigger squeeze, while in between your first breadth and your second breadth cam be tricky to coordinate.

I didn't get a choice. :(

Rifles were what I learned first. ^^;

...no? XD

I've only ever shot 9mm and .45 for pistols.

.223, 7.62, .308, and .50 for rifles.

Your targets are also a lot closer though, 50 yards or less.

Try taking a hat off a target at 400 yards with iron sights on a rifle with no bipod, and tell me which is harder. :3

EDIT: Huh. I thought if I fast posted, my posts would get combined. Sorry about the double/triple post! ^^;

But aren't pistols more subject to the movements of your hands/body since you don't have a support?

EDIT: Oh, I was referring to shooting under the same conditions

@PKMNB0YPosted. I apologize that it took so long, even though it's just a short post... Quoting you just in case my post gets lost in rapidly expanding IC, heh.

I'm just saying at 50 yards with a rifle, it's easy.

50 yards with a pistol is difficult. So, of the two make a difficult shot for both. 400+ yards with a rifle and no support vs. Say a Pistol at fifty yards unsupported.

You'd soon find of the two which at that point are comparably difficult, it's much easier to plug a target only 150 feet away compared to a target that's 1,200 feet away.

Aiming at a speck isn't easy. @.@

I tried going for a more tech-savvy style because he's more related to time, and it just complimented his looks in general. If there's anything unsatisfactory about it, please tell me so I could change it.
