Lack of development? No way, artificial beings have amazing potential. Advanced enough A.I and you get a whole host of possibilities. Diverging personalities from the original programming, the concept of what constitutes life, all kinds of things can be done. Last time I made a Geth character, it was amazing.

Thats true for Mass Effect but there are far fewer droids in the SW galaxy that seem to grow their own personalities and I have seen very few people do it properly. Besides Pie just dropped in...

So I'll leave it up to y'all if you want someone dropping in I was happy with the group of us as invite only as it was a nice sized group...

I would make the argument that TK-47 had a great personality as a droid, and while never making a show appearance, C-3PX seemed like an interesting character.

Edit: The main reason I dislike them is I feel very few can play them properly and instead just play them as metallic humans.
