<Snipped quote by Kill Bones>
The website that shall not be named is the eternal enemy of the glorious Roleplayer Guild. All things that involve them in any way are sinful. It is the duty of all Guild members to take up arms against them at any time which they may threaten our glorious forum, for this is the forever war, the war without end.
I'm gonna step in here to make an important point. The Guild doesn't have enemies. It doesn't have competition. It doesn't consider itself at war with other communities; we're just trying to roleplay and share that passion, there's no need to measure dicks, much as the impulse exists to do so. Shit-talking Iwaku and other communities, in a sense, is just dragging us into beefs with places we don't really care to have a beef with.
No, seriously. I'm here to RP, a lot of us are here to RP. A lot of people are there to RP. Some of them went there to RP when this place had stability issues. And a couple of people apparently want to ratchet up the idea that there is a war, a beef, a hair-pulling fight in the middle school cafeteria, whatever, because it creates the impression of drama for their entertainment. I suppose they don't have much to do and this constitutes fun. Well, lots of shit happens on the internet because a bored basement troll needs to get a life, little enough of it good.
That's not really our style and what we're about. This isn't the West Side Story, we're not pulling out switchblades. And I'm seriously pointing out that there is no Iwaku problem as we see it and they certainly aren't Sauron. They exist, we exist and there's plenty of room on the freakin' internet to live and let live.
So please, chill on that. It's doing no one any good. The shit talk isn't helping the Guild. It's just entertaining some douche somewhere.
(Not calling you a douche,
@Keyguyperson, since you're clearly being facetious here. But it was a good time to kinda interject here with a srs message.)
And stfu about Iwaku. That goes to everyone.
Have some class.
What he said.
