Maria uses a wheelchair to feign the appearance of a paraplegic. She uses her magic to move the wheelchair around.

Personality: Maria casts an outward appearance of a cheery, kind girl, always smiling while talking in a bubbly voice. However, beneath this social mask lies a mind broken by years of abuse into a dark and ruthless girl, her empathy withered away and her trust in other people hard to come by, devolving into paranoia when she is stressed. She has a fear of inferiority, and combats this by being driven by her lust for power, her ambition being her escape from the creeping despair that silently clutches her heart.
While she keeps a sociable appearance about herself, in truth she doesn't have a lot of friends, and keeps her relationships with other people strictly as business.
However, she has started to grow fond of her maid Fantine, and won't tolerate any cases of her mistreatment.

Bio: Maria was thrown into an orphanage before she could even remember the faces of her parents, who died shortly after her birth. She was brutally beaten and abused at a regular pace by the personnel there. However, before she was driven to an abyss of despair, she met a boy by the name of Klaus there, who promised to protect her and get them out of the orphanage. In time, she developed feelings for the boy.
One night they attempted an escape, but were about to be caught when Maria met an Incubator. Seeing that Klaus was caught, she made her wish and the two of them escaped successfully.
Later, Klaus was caught by an anti-MG mob and tortured to death due to his connections to Magical Girls after following Maria. Maria found out about this, and became determined to rule the world and take revenge on the people who took Klaus away from him, by any means possible.
Over the following years, Maria managed to worm her way to the position of a lieutenant in the Aurora City Authority through her persuasion skills, guile and political maneuvers, even resorting to underhanded tactics such as backstabbing and using torture to squeeze valuable secrets out of any hapless victim she managed to capture alive. Of course, she doesn't plan on stopping there, either...

Her domain includes the territory of a magical girl named Eponine, who has requested her home to be placed under Maria's, and by extension, Aurora's protection and rule and that her sister is given a place of refuge in Maria's HQ. In return, Maria demanded Eponine to swear fealty to her, and that Fantine will serve as her personal maid.

Skills: Maria could be said to have a silver tongue, for she is very convincing and manipulative with her words, sprouting seeds of doubt and despair in any heart she can pierce with her angelic voice. She also has a profound knowledge of politics and tactics, and specializes in psychological warfare.

Weapons: Maria keeps a small dagger under her dress as a paranoid measure, though due to her status as a Magical Girl, rarely uses it.

Other: Maria loves sweet things such as cakes and cookies, and spends a lot of her free time snacking on them.

Magical Girl Appearance:
Maria keeps her eye-design and creepy demeanour while as a Magical Girl. Her costume also has more shades of dark-green and black.

Wish: "I wish to move Klaus away from his fate."

Weapons: A scythe with an intricate, flowery design going from the hilt all the way to the blade's end. Can be manipulated to change the position of the blade, making for a surprisingly adaptive weapon despite its unwieldiness.

Powers: Telekinesis. Maria may use her magic to control the movement of any object or person in her line of sight, including herself. For example, she can fly through the air, throw and draw distant targets and even freeze people in place. However, she needs to have one of her hands unoccupied and spread open for her to cast the magic from her palm and her fingers for multitasking and subtle movements, making her unable to use this power if her hands are unusable or occupied. Breaking her focus also results in the spell's canceling.
She may also perform a Force Choke-like spell on normal humans which Magical Girls are immune to.

Chloe

Personality: Completely self-serving, anarchic and vain, Chloe seems to go where she wants, when she wants to go there, and not a minute sooner. She allies herself with anybody who seeks to overthrow the current power structure, no matter their motives or methods, and when the a revolution she was aiding succeeds, she rises up with the next group of insurgents. She has a constant lackadaisical attitude that annoys the people around her, as though she doesn't care who they are or why they're around in the first place. Whatever is going on in her head is more important to her than her interpersonal relationships, and she barely seems to remember other peoples' names.

Bio: Chloe was born into a poor family on the wrong side of the tracks. Their house was constantly getting broken into and robbed, and it wasn't uncommon for her to watch her father literally fight to take back their home from squatters and gangs. This was how she spent the first ten years of her life. However, in her tenth year of life, even this routine was uprooted and taken from her, as she and her family were seized by a small upstart gang, beaten, and put to work by them. Chloe never saw her father again after that day. She and her mother lived an uneasy life, essentially as slaves for this random gang of thugs with very little power, but there was nothing that she and her mother could do, because they were powerless.

On the day she met the incubator, there was no convincing that needed to happen, no goading or talks. She had a wish that she would go to any lengths to fulfill.

At present, she is known to support rebellions in any form. In Aurora, she has chosen to ally herself with the Shadow Compact, since she likes the way they do business. Most people question why a magical girl would ally herself with humans to overthrow magical girl superiority, but she has never mentioned her motives even once to anybody. She enjoys living a hedonistic life without any ties to other people and without any particular direction, and she has no true friends to speak of, though she has uneasy allies and very loose acquaintances. Chloe's been at this magical girl thing for quite a while now and seems to enjoy the rhythm of it. While she knows that one day it has to end, focusing on the present is what brings her joy.

Allegiance: Shadow Compact. While uneasy, she has formed a sort of partnership with the Shadow Compact. She has power, and seems hell-bent on overthrowing the rule of the current magical girl system for some reason. Many in the organisation don't like her involvement, but even they can't argue with her results in the face of their own relative powerlessness.

Skills: Chloe is physically strong from all of the non-magical fighting she engages in, and the constant labour work that she never quite managed to separate herself from. Even when not powered up by magic, she is stronger than most girls her age and can hold her own against an adult in a fight. If you asked anybody else, the rest of her skillset would consist of annoying people and being mysterious.

Other: Chloe isn't very quick to make friends for obvious reasons, but that doesn't necessarily mean she wants to be that way...

Personality: Eponine comes off as robotic to most. She values order above all else and believes that to achieve order, the ends justify the means. Her form of altruism is the cold, calculated utilitarianism that the incubators also happen to follow, that the good of the few can be easily sacrificed for the good of the many. She is for the most part, obedient and unquestioning of her orders and tries to the best of her ability to fulfill her missions to the letter. She cannot tolerate insubordination or rebellion, unless it promises an even better organization, an even tighter grip on chaos and human free will. She has a strong desire to protect her sister Fantine, her allies, and the majority of her vassals, though she will sacrifice a few of them if it meant protecting most of them. Eponine has a soft spot for Fantine. Eponine worries that soon, she will lose her ability to love her sister due to the negative side effects of her wish.

Bio: Eponine was born in a slum of North Africans in the outskirts of Aurora. She lived with her father, mother, and two younger siblings: fraternal twins, a boy and a girl. Due to their destitute living conditions, the community became disgruntled with the ruling magical girls. Eponine grew up hating magical girls for not protecting and providing for her town. When a group of militants came to 'liberate' them from magical girls, the militants were welcomed with open arms. However, their talk of 'revolution', 'liberation', and 'equality' was empty; they were little more than bandits expanding their territory and winning support by throwing around high-minded ideals. Life under this militant group was worse than the neglect they faced when under magical girl rule. When the North African community decided that they had had enough, they revolted and failed miserably. The militants suppressed the revolt swiftly and Eponine saw both her father and mother brutally physically and sexually assaulted by the militants. Then she became their next victim. At this point she was already broken, and she simply let it happen, but when she saw others reach for her sister and brother, she snapped, and an incubator appeared before her. When she became a magical girl for the first time, it was a night of blood as Eponine cleansed the slum of the militants. In the aftermath, her brother had died from injuries he had sustained while he was being raped, while her sister, Fantine, survived. Seeing Eponine as their saviour from oppression, the community changed their minds about magical girls. Eponine sought out the magical girl that governed over her region, Maria Goethe, and swore fealty to her, aligning herself and her community to Aurora. Now she rules over and protects the slum, which has become her fief, her territory which is part of Maria's larger domain. She keeps Fantine safe in Maria's HQ.

Skills: Very few, maybe a proficiency with polearms having swung her warhammer around enough times. She has the tactics of a juggernaut.

Other: Eponine's diet has gotten increasingly spicy as her sense of taste has deteriorated to the point that she can barely taste anything anymore. She also sometimes bites her own tongue and inside of her cheek when she is speaking quickly, so she often bleeds from the mouth. She calls her force-field the Zone of Absolute Terror.

Magical Girl Appearance:

Eponine keeps her eye, hair, and skin color of course. Also, no bonnet and no katana.

Wish: "I never want to be hurt again." Her wish not only granted her an impenetrable force field ability, but has significantly reduced her ability to feel pain. Because she will feel pain if those close to her are harmed, her ability includes the bonus of being able to protect others. However, she can feel her sense of touch overall deteriorating, including her sense of taste. It has also slowly affected her ability to feel emotions, as emotions are ultimately the true source of pain. This last bit worries her, since loving Fantine is the one thing she has left.

Weapons: Eponine summons and wields a warhammer. She can summon more as necessary and as part of a way to extend her magic.


Powers: Force Field - Eponine's force field is a thin, impenetrable layer covering her body when activated. It can be extended to her warhammer, making the weapon indestructible. She can also extend it to allies if she touches them. Keeping it on drains her magic so she lets it down when she feels she is safe. It can be further activated with 'Rejection', which sends all things touching it to go shooting off in the opposite direction. She cannot use 'Rejection' to propel herself. She can summon multiple hammers and stand them with the head on the ground and the shaft pointing up. She needs a minimum of three set out in a ring to activate a larger force field, a hemisphere of protection projected from the shafts of the hammers.

Personality: Fantine is wise beyond her years, and knows more than she lets on. She thinks a lot and feels for others, but smiles and behaves in a way to convince others that she is living a carefree and ignorant life. She does this because thinking about things makes her sad, and she doesn't want Eponine to know that she is sad. Fantine knows that her own happiness is Eponine's last remaining source of happiness. She has a strong desire to please those around her and happily serves Maria.

Bio: Fantine is Eponine's younger sister. The anti-magical girl militant group that had occupied their village became more violent when the villagers decided to fight back. in their violence, the militants raped Fantine's parents and Eponine, then decided to rape Fantine and her twin brother, which prompted Eponine to contract and become a magical girl, destroying the militants. When Eponine swore fealty to Maria and incorporated their slum into Maria's territory, Eponine requested that Fantine be placed under Maria's protection. In return, Fantine would serve as Maria's maid, and Eponine would be absolutely devoted to Maria.

Focused, methodical and ruthless, Kolya is a consummate hunter and excellent problem solver when working. He takes great care of his subordinates, no matter who they are, acting as something of an older brother to his troops. When off duty he is markedly different, with a perpetually relaxed smile and an easy-going sense of humour. One of Kolya's favourite past times is having a couple of (dozen) drinks with Alexandra's other minions.

Bio
Since the collapse of the old world order, there hasn't been much travel among normal humans. Between regular patrols from the magical girl city states, opportunistic banditry and the constant battles between low ranking magi, the neutral zones between cities make for a dangerous road. And yet communities can still be found amid the lawlessness, hardy folk who can protect themselves. Far to the northeast of Germany is one such settlement, founded by the breakaway crew of a old Russian warship. Nova Prussiya is a hard place, with little arable land or decent fishing zones. Much of its livelihood comes from various successful bandits and mercenaries, often former Russian soldiers and sailors; with a large cache of modern military hardware and the technology to produce more, many Nova Prussiyans have made a name for themselves as Witch hunters. A select few have gone even further, hunting the magical girls that have caused so much grief for the world. Kolya Lukoshenko was once one of these men.

A former Russian naval infantryman, Lukoshenko was an accomplished hunter when decided to leave his home and strike out deep into the German interior. Spurred on by rumours of human resistance factions, he intended to hire himself out as a fighter; indeed, with a total of three magical girl kills to his name, Lukoshenko was one of the best. Armed with the tools and knowledge of a professional hunter, he entered the city of Aurora as a hitman. Working underground for several years, Kolya's impressions slowly began to change; the people he fought for were weak, cowardly and his enemies strong. More often than not he found himself paying his respects to his magical foes even as he finished them, saddened by what he must do for humanity's sake. After years of murdering teenage girls in the name of so-called freedom, perhaps it was inevitable that he would crack.

On the day of his eleventh kill, Lukoshenko had an encounter that would change his life forever. The eleventh was a pretty little thing, barely into her teens; by this point, every kill he made sent Kolya to the bottom of a bottle, but this one weighed more heavily on his mind than any other. She had been very young and confused... and she had begged for her life at the end. It hadn't mattered to his employers of course; they had issued the bounty with their usual glee, no doubt cheering over the death of another little tyrant. What Kolya hadn't known was that the girl had not been on her own. He only found out after the fact but the girl's partner soon fell into despair, creating an especially violent Witch within the heart of the city slums. Many died in the ensuing violence, innocent and otherwise. Having taken it upon himself to atone for his actions, Kolya set out to destroy the beast and restore order, only to find himself preempted by a magical girl; unlike every magi he had met so far, this one had tried to protect the innocent slum-dwellers, more than could be said for his erstwhile employers... The things she said, the conviction and compassion in her voice were enough to sway his already conflicted loyalties. They parted ways peacefully and although it would be several months before they met again, he was now bound to the fate and will of Alexandra Hertz.

Once Alexandra completed her coup and solidified control over Aurora, Kolya quickly came out of hiding to swear loyalty to her. He now serves as Alexandra's closest non-magical aid and a senior commander in her human army. His military training and experience hunting prey both magical and mundane make him an excellent attack dog for the Aurora City Authority regime.

As a former soldier, Kolya is proficient with various modern weapons and combat tactics. His time as a hunter and mercenary, as well as the specialist equipment he uses gives him an edge when fighting Magical Girls; he is one of a very few who can stand toe to toe with a magical opponent. Outside of combat, he is also an excellent information gatherer and organiser, with a network of informants that stretches across the city. Kolya is also a rather good cook, specialising in sweets and patisserie.

Weapons
RG-6 Grenade Launcher. Instead of firing explosive grenades, Kolya uses specially designed incendiary buckshot rounds in his RG-6, essentially turning it into a massive flaming shotgun, ideal for fighting both Magical Girls and Witches.

Kolya maintains a good stockpile of different weapons, switching them out as the situation demands. Sometimes he will use an assault rifle, other times a sniper rifle; he also had a large amount of explosives stashed away, just in case.

Other
While most of his subordinates are badly trained militia, Kolya does have a handful of hunters from Nova Prussiya on his payroll. These men and women are ruthlessly efficient and can handle Magical Girls far better than the average grunt.

Violetta FitzCarraldo

Name: Violetta FitzCarraldo. (Veee oh-let-ter, not Vayyy-oh-let-ter. She gets annoyed if you mispronounce it.)
Age: 16
Gender: Girl.
Appearance: Violeta is tall, blonde, with amber eyes.
Personality: People who don't know Violetta very well think she's an idiot. She's loud, obnoxious, petty, and a pain to tolerate and put up with. People who know her think she's a genius. She's got a way with words, and is capable of rallying platoons and battalions of adolescent teenage girls into an almost suicidal frenzy with a few well-chosen words and her natural presence, despite her thick latin accent. Several of those in her confidance are convinced that she's the real reason why the small rural state neighbouring Aurora had lasted as long as it did, despite never being a major player in politics nor economy. She leans somewhat towards Libertarian views, believing in the freedom of everyone and anyone to do what they feel is right or moral or good in their own eyes, until it harms someone else. She's a strong believer in the idea of a nation being a union of like-minded people in order to throw their combined weight around. People close enough to see the pores in her face think she's insane.

Bio: Violetta was born in what used to be Argentina, to a folk singer couple who played mostly to small art-house venues. She grew up in a decent part of the world, not entirely rich but never all that poor, either. Both her parents died after a misunderstanding with a guitar case at an airport escalated, and she contracted soon afterwards and left town, heading north. She arrived in Germany, to what might have once been called her ancestral home in the rhineland, and quickly began throwing her weight around as a military girl and a leader of women, setting up a rigorous, almost military force to defend their small rural town from witches and their ilk, foreign magical girls. Always under a quickly rotating political and economic leader, of course. Nobody trusts the fox to hand out the chickens. That little community burnt out and died after a ferocious witch attack decimated the forces under her command and in the ensuing chaos she left the town quietly and set out for the big city.

From what she heard, the place collapsed not long after.

Allegiance: Whoever pays more, would be her reply. She's currently under Aurora City control, as a lowly officer of what passes for law.
Skills: Charisma, and a keen eye for mass encounters and strategy.
Weapons: Apart from a small packet of chewables, she goes in with the clothes she's wearing.
Other: Theme. Gave up smoking a while ago since it was hampering her. She's trying to take up chewing tobacco, but shops in the area are few and far between, so she's almost constantly curling her fists, unconsciously.

Magical Girl Section:

Magical Girl Appearance: Violeta's uniform resembles a turn-of-the-century army dress uniform, decorated with a small personal motif.
Wish: To never again have to rely on anything else, to do whatever she wants to do.
Weapons: The weapon she possesses is a large, bulky, almost oversized flame-thrower. Unlike the sleek refinement of most magical weapons, This resembles little more then a pipe sticking out of a scrapped molten bicycle she carries over her arm. What it lacks in looks it makes up for in sheer area denial, capable of creating walls and rivers of burning melty death with a few quick strokes. The machine consumes much in the way of both magical energy and oxygen, and can be hard to maintain for long.
Powers: Control over unnatural material: Iron and steel bends at her touch, Plastic bends and cracks, Pistols jam and misfire, and edged weapons blunt. Organic matter, and items of a magical nature are completely out of her reach, but she doesn't see that as too much of a problem since they burn rather nicely. Violetta keeps her stranger powers at arms length (Not literally, the power works on contact), preferring to leave them on out of habit but has never seriously dedicated much effort in learning their finer skills.

Personality: Calm, not easily angered, Alexandra believes in stability and order above all else. She finds warfare and violence distasteful, though she will still engage it in necessary. To those who have earned a friendship with her, she will stand with them to the end when they are in need. To those who aren't she is a position of stability, to be respected and feared for her position.

Resolute once she has made her mind up, she doesn't mind the scheming of her underlings, so long as it doesn't result in open fighting. She likes her peace, and she will keep it.
Bio: Alexandra has lived in Aurora her whole life. Originally only an average girl, she grew up as a single child in a moderately well off family, one that had made itself useful as part of the government. There was resentment as a result, but that never seemed to be an issue, and Alexandra enjoyed a relatively peaceful childhood. The concerns of Witches and magical girls were none of hers, beyond how it impacted her life.

That all changed with an attempted assassination and a crackdown, purges running through the government as supposed traitors were eliminated. Her father was caught up in them, and the purges themselves only served to further opposition. Alexandra's peaceful life was shattered, and she found herself increasingly isolated. And with that hardship, when Kyubey approached her, she took the deal, and became a magical girl. Her life restored itself, her father returned, but things wouldn't be the same for her.

She worked her way through the ranks from the bottom up, proving herself as a fighter, and as someone competent, as she rose in the process. It was during this time that she met Caroline, and they established a firm friendship that would last to the present. She also met Kolya, though he would not join until later.

Eventually, she made her move. Drawing on a coalition of nobles and lower ranking magical girls, she staged a coup and overthrew the cities old leadership, placing herself in power. Land and positions were doled out to supporters, and she went about restoring stability to the city, cracking down on organized crime, as well as open conflict. Since then she has enforced peace, preventing encroachment by her neighbors and keeping things under control. The Shadow Compact has been pushed back, and she is very much satisfied with the way things have been maintained. It is a state of affairs she plans to have endure for some time.

Powers: Gravitic manipulation. She can alter the affect of gravity on any object she touches, making her able to effectively render any object weightless if she so desires it, or as heavy as a neutron star (Though that would take an incredible amount of power, and it would atop the second she let go.) She can also use this power on herself.

Personality: A girl who is very open-minded and fair. Initially, a girl who was filled with hatred and bend on revenge, she went back to her old self after a fateful encounter. Alice was a kind girl who disliked pointless violence, brutality and inequality among people which is why she is disgusted with the current situation in Aurora City. Despite supporting peace and co-existence, Alice is no public speaker and is a poor diplomat leading her to resort to actions she justifies as necessary. When passing judgement (aka killing), Alice usually does it swiftly if she believes her target to be too dangerous to be alive any longer. She rarely smiles and always has a cold calm expression on her face when transformed. When in civilian form, she is a little more relaxed and carefree but not much of a difference.
After her recent heroic breakdown, she becomes a little crazy and tends to laugh when seeing her target in despair/pain. She will also get a thrill in battle when her target tries to run away however she remains her calm self when facing a tough opponent.

Bio: Alice was just a normal girl till her whole family were killed in a battle between Shadow Compact and the magical girls.She was 14 then and it was only a year later that a Kyubey found her and asked whether she wanted to make a wish. Then, Alice was struggling just to survive. She had no home and no family. Magical Girls hunt her down for being normal and the normal people just cared about themselves. Moreover, Shadow Compact members had almost found her a couple of times but she managed to evade them. There was no way she would join them as she did not want to be any part of the conflict. She began to ramble to herself about wanting peace back and the conflict to end.

The Kyubey then told her to wish that. However, Alice was worried about what will occur if she ever made such a wish. She had some knowledge of how the wish works and knowing it had no bounds made her afraid. She also knew of the existence of witches and them being former magical girls which was why she was hesitating for so long to the point the Kyubey left. Alice pondered about it and it was then she met a member of Serenity by sheer coincidence. Their mission of co-existence and equality became her inspiration and she made a wish to the Kyubey, who had returned.
After becoming a magical girl, Alice tried to promote peace discreetly but saw nobody keen on the idea. She tried and tried till she realized diplomacy was not the only way. In every peaceful community, there will always be people having to do dirty work behind the scenes.

Eventually, Alice's idea of a peaceful co-existence is when all the weeds (aka stubborn people) are killed. She tainted the soul gems of magical girls to claim grief seeds and also harshly treated the normal people to get her point across. While others aware of her actions saw it being harsh and sometimes brutal, Alice herself does not see it that way as she believed what she was doing was for the future peace. Due to her actions, she has somewhat of a 'friendly' relationship with the Incubators since she delivered them quite a number of grief seeds.

Allegiance: She serves no one but is an 'ally' of the Incubators.
Skills: Capable hand-to-hand fighter, able to fully utilize her powers well and expert survival skills.
Weapons: None
Other: Just a reminder, Alice is slightly mentally unstable at times. If conversed properly, she will join Serenity. She may join Aurora Authority or Shadow Compact depending on who talks to her. She will not join Trinity.

Powers: Magical Energy Manipulation
1)Magic Zapz Cage: Alice needs to draw a circle on the ground and lure her target in. She will have to aim her scythe at her target from above and shout "Close!" for the cage to activate and the bigger the cage, the more magic need to maintain. The cage saps away the captive's strength & a magical girl's magic powers. Alice will usually proceed to torture the captive with her scythe.
2)Mind Reading: Alice needs to be focused and standing still in order to use it.
3)Healing Factor
4)Energy Manipulation Magic: Basically Alice can conjure anything within her power out of magic energy to use offensively such as magic energy balls that explode on impact, magic beams, magic spears,etc. She can also energized her scythe with magic energy to be sharper and durable.

Personality: Yume is calm and logical to an extent that may seem cold to others. However, when it is in her ability to be kind and benevolent, she is without hesitation. She is especially caring towards inexperienced magical girls, and wishes no real harm upon anyone. Yume is sorrowful about the eventual fate of magical girls, but has no doubt that it is unavoidable and dismisses any decision made for the sake of passion. She is somewhat a hypocrite, for when someone who she cares for is threatened, she protects them fiercely.
Bio: Yume had an easier life than most magical girls. An only child of two well-off and loving parents, there wasn't much she would sell her soul for. This changed, however, after her mother was discovered to have Fibrodysplasia Ossificans Progressiva, a rare genetic disorder that slowly and painfully killed her. The day after her mother's funeral, a then eleven year old Yume was offered a contract in exchange for a single wish. Without hesitation, she accepted a destiny fighting witches in exchange for her mother's life. Had she been older and wiser, she would have realized that bringing her mother back from the dead would not reverse her condition. Yume soon saw the suffering she had inflicted on her mother, who was once again doomed to die in constant agony, and ended her mother's life with the blade of her own axe. She was forced to cut down her own father as well, after he went insane from the grief of losing his wife for a second time. Yume became a full time witch hunter after this, and serves every whim of the incubators. She has accepted the balance of despair and hope as a needed force to maintain the universe, and bases many of her actions on what will support it.
Allegiance: Yume is loyal to the will of the incubators, but will form allegiances with other magical girls when necessary, and occasionally will take on an "apprentice" of sorts.
Skills: Yume is incredibly skilled with her axe as a result of her years of experience. While she is not very physically strong, she is very fast and agile, and is a strategic thinker. When trying to be charming, Yume can be exceedingly persuasive.
Weapons: As a magical girl, Yume rarely uses "normal" weapons, but carries a few switchblades for the sake of caution.
Other: Yume has an intense dislike for men, especially adults. She also considers herself a vigilante, and will slay evil humans as well as witches.

Yume's main weapon is a large and ornate battle axe, which is chrome in color. Her weapon stems from her idea that destruction is necessary for advance and construction, much in the way that a tree must be chopped down with an axe for a house to be built. She can also summon small throwing axes to use as deadly projectiles.
Powers: Because of the way her wish brought back the dead, Yume uses Life Magic. However, she cannot bring people back to life completely healed. Her abilities allow her to only bring back the recent dead, and they can only reverse the effect of the killing blow, so any long term damage, such as cancer, would be unaffected.

Personality: Naive, Persistant, Heroic, <Headstrong, Violent>

Bio: An ideal magical girl, kind and sweet, scouted by Kyubey directly. Unlike most girls with strong magic in Aurora, she has no tragic backstory. And, indeed, lives out a normal happy family life, even under the current tyrannical system. She has friends and a blissfully carefree life. When she was approached by Kyubey, she threw her wish away carelessly, completely failing to think of the downside. There was no chance for her to realize what might spring from this fork in the road of her life, and it was done before she knew any different.

Her first time fighting a witch went extraordinarily well. Her combat ability proved to be quite high, and combined with her healing magic she seemed nearly invulnerable. Ingrid's confidence soared after this battle, but she quickly grew to realize that even though she had escaped with hardly a scratch, her soul gem was dark as the night. She had to immediately embark on another witch hunt. Her spirits stayed high through all of these trials, and she thought to herself "I just have to fight harder, and I can be the hero I wanted to be."

<It didn't take long for somebody to come along and crush those high spirits. A random act of chaos that Ingrid's brain absolutely could not make sense of, because there was no sense to make. Suddenly the world wasn't as simple as 'good magi fight evil witches.' Suddenly she lived in a world where other magical girls could attack and torture good people for seemingly no reason, and her brain couldn't parse that whatsoever. Something inside of her came unhinged that day. She became unable to summon a whole sword and shield like before, and now she could only summon broken variants of her chosen weapons. And when her soul gem grows dark, her personality changes dramatically as it never had before.>

Allegiance: Aurora City Authority. She has no strong reason to ally with them, but calls herself loyal to the ACA because it seemed like the natural thing to do.

Other: <Ingrid is incredibly easy to 'set off' these days. She lives her life having sworn absolute vengeance against Chloe and all evil puella magi. While she is normally under control and will perform her missions flawlessly, she is naive, and will bite at any chance to take retribution against her hated enemy. Even if it means failing a mission or breaking a promise, she can't stop herself from pursuing vengeance. Still, despite this, she is incredibly skilled at fighting witches, even solo. She doesn't fare nearly as well in magi-vs-magi combat, but her track record against witches and their familiars is incredible.>

Powers: Ingrid was granted the power of self-healing, beyond that of a normal magical girl. This power has "infinite use" in that it has no restrictions, but it causes heavy strain on her mana reserves, causing her soul gem to turn black alarmingly quickly. The more she heals herself, the less emotionally stable she becomes and the closer she gets to turning into a witch. The more she fights and gets hurt, the more grief seeds she needs to consume, and thus the more she needs to fight witches and possibly get hurt, in a continuous catch-22. This also means that wasting her energy fighting against things that are not witches is an incredibly costly idea for her, and almost universally a choice to be avoided.
