The city of Tokyo was, as usual, bustling with energy- students moving to and fro just as the classes of the day were about to start. The everyday chatter of people on the trains, on the streets, at work, at school... It was business as usual. The same went for most cities across Japan at this time of day, and as usual, the people would go on with their everyday lives.
Some particularly perceptive people might have noticed it then, but a small earthquake had begun rocking the small archipelago. Of course, this was a natural occurrence, given Japan's location- at least until it began to escalate. The earthquakes picked up in intensity, and people left and right began to duck for cover. And as they did so... They came.
Demons.
It just so happened that on this day, a certain program would be released on the internet- one by the name of 'Cortensia'. As the demons began to spawn, those few, those lucky few who had the file on them, in some way shape or form, found themselves facing a single message.
"Do you believe your time has come?
Is your death inevitable?"
Those who had selected "no" found themselves able to bring forth those very demons that threatened to kill them, while others who quietly accepted their fate found themselves ripped asunder.
Those who survived the initial onslaught found themselves unable to contact anyone not in Japan; while communications within the country were still up, it seemed as if everything else has simply been wiped away, as if it had never existed.
Are you one of those few who lived to see the next day? Will you fight to see the end of this incident, or will you stand by idly and let the world you know be thrown asunder for naught?
So as you may have guessed, this is an SMT RP based somewhat on the events of Devil Survivor 2. I'll be implementing a fusion system, floodgating for powerful demons and possibly a Fate system (which, to all you Persona fans out there, work similarly to Social Links... I guess.) I wanted to see if anyone else is interested in this, especially with SMT: DS2 Record Breaker hitting stores soon.
If you've got any questions, just ask away!
