Oh... okay. Clearly I take my zelda too seriously.

You tend to take... a lot of things too seriously.
HYRULE FIELDS: Hildibrand Manderville!

@propro@prince of seraphs@scarifar

Hildibrand turned to look at Terra with a smile as she took the transceiver out of his grasp! "Wow, she must really like the technology!" He thought to himself, perhaps it was best to let her look at it! After all, it would not be in his nature to disappoint a lady! And if she wanted to inspect his device, then he would just have to accept that! Though he was confused at how she suddenly blurted out the world Magitek, as if it was something of an evil omen, infact, the rest of what she spoke of was incredibly familiar!

"Wait! The waring triad? Their forms wouldn't happen to be of a fiend, a goddess and a demon would they? Why, they are in my world as well! One of them broke free from their prison fairly recently, the fiend awakened! Known only as Sephirot! Though the heroes of light managed to stop it before i could intervene! Though i heard nothing about a crazy imperial soldier pushing the statues! they were very big! and covered in moss!"

When Terra asked her about where he was from, he was completely inclined to answer gher question, and smiled happily, posing once more in the gentlemanly way that he did.

"Why I am from the land known as Eorzea! It is a land filled with magic, and chocobos, and beasts, and monsters, and primals! It's quite the peculiar land, though something tells me my world may not be so different from yours! Ah! Perhaps you too know Greg? Six arms, fascinated with collecting weapons! Had a friend who was a chicken? Or mayhaps you know of our worlds celebrities? Typhoon and Ultros? They work in the Ul'dah arena! My father did a number on both of them! We beat Ultros into a pulp for running away, though we hired Typhoon! He works in my father's casino slash theme park!"

Hildibrand approached Terra and bowed, politely taking the magitek transceiver back and putting it into his coat pocket, kindly as a Manderville would and removed a ticket from his pocket, coloured gold, with hildibrands face upon it.

"My apologies, I may need that back! If i have it out of my possession for too long, it'll explode! It's a shame neither Biggs nor Wedge could fix that part of the device! It gets very problematic when i accidentally drop it! As for compensation, here, one free trip to the Manderville Gold Saucer! You'll be treated with luxury there!"

Feeling the touch of the beautiful mint haired lady pull him back, Hildibrand turned, the smile on the gentleman never once leaving his esteemed visage, accepting her pull, he stopped moving, listening to her words. Hildibrand beamed brightly at the power of her deduction, and held a finger up, as if a lightbulb had just shun in his head!

"Indeed! Why, you have the mind of an Agent of Inquiry, my dear! That is most certainly a great idea! Why, you remind me of Briardien! It is quite peculiar! With no people in sight, and with us the only ones here, aside from those dapper gentleman... Why it is a mystery and a half! Oh! That also reminds me! I never once asked for you name, my lady? May I ask what it would be, if it is no inconvenience to yourself?"

Hildibrand bowed to her with the utmost respect, before raising his head up high to smile to Gaige, who had begun to look... confused, even nauseous, in Hildibrands eyes, half almost about to ask her if she wished for a bucket, though she seemed to strike some form of mental cord, coming up with all manners of different ideas and theories. It was then she came to the thought of... a different reality! Hildibrands voice boomed loudly, his goofy smile only stretching!

"Of course! Why that makes perfect sense! Our views of reality are completely different from each other, and we each call home a different name! Why, I bet none of you know what a Primal is! Or who Greg is for that matter! If that is the case, then it might not be so far fetch to assume we have all been brought together from other timelines! Why, the treaty blade has shot me to another dimension! How peculiar!"

Being added to Gaige's "echo" device, as a party member, Hildibrand could only flex and bow with gentlemanly thanks before approaching the location of the horses by following her, still holding Terra's hand, as the gentleman walked along with her, politely by his side, as if walking a woman down the wedding aisle! Though when Gaige asked for any communication equipment, Hildibrand nodded his head.

"Ah, perhaps this would work!"

From his pocket, Hildibrand used a freehand to remove a small piece of Imperial Garlean Technology, a small peculiar metal device.

"This is a Magitek Transceiver! It has the ability to communicate long distances, but will explode if it is a certain distance away from me! I had a friend make it for me! Perhaps it can be used to communicate with you?"
@Prince of Seraphs Bringing realism into obvious fantasy where the realistic laws of physics do not apply.

History:

"Why am I here in Florida? Shit... Why am I here again? To be honest with you, my life hasn't exactly been one that's been carefully planned... Didn't create no big damn story for myself to follow, didn't set up any expectations for myself, i've just been the type to go down the road, fuck a guy, steal his stuff and then crush his face in with my fist until i'm pressing his brains between my fingers... Pretty fun.

'Course, how did I get so Violent? Well, when you grow up surrounded by raider pricks, and scumbags, your perception of morals tends to get right fucked. Killed my first prey when I was five years old, dad and mom held the poor old bastard down and I just stuffed the knife deep into his throat, and let the light fade from his miserable lookin' eyes... Followed by the cheers of my raider family, and I smiled too! I was confused, but happy, and that's all I needed to live.

However, live with raiders for a while, you understand how dog eat dog it can be, quite literally. It's a bit weird at first, but eating your family tends to be a popular past time when your avoiding the likes of any bounty hunters or big damn heroes trying to take you out, but soon enough, my time as a raider would end, about the time I was thirteen, when one damn hero was just too tough... Slaughtered and butchered my family like dogs, and held me by the scruff. Should have died, but he enslaved me, taught me, trained me... Guess he needed a good dog. Guy was great at blowing things up, everything just crumbled around him... I actually kinda fell for the guy, he was a right evil asshole... Perfect to learn from.

Lived with him as his personal pet until I was eighteen, living in the east, I suppose, we traveled from the west, somehow made it here after a few years, the type to move on and keep moving, never staying in one spot for long... It was nice, changed the scenery a bit, till I killed him.

May have jumped a bit ahead there... Lets just say, when he got a bit too use to me, and I learned from him, teaching me words, to talk, along with other shit, he gave me my reward, finally took off my collar and told me to leave. I bit his nose off and shoved a grenade into his throat, and it did the rest... Fun!

Since then, I've been doing what I can to survive, taking jobs, stealing, pillaging if I can get away with it, that kinda stuff. Ended up in Florida because of it. Got a job from some pompous brick, somethin' to do with finding the 'Geck'. Might be good to track down... for a fee of course."
@Happy Go Lucky Never having heard of Hildibrand and knowing nothing about him except for what I've seen you do with him here, I can certainly see why you'd want to play as him. Hahaha.

Hildibrand is most pleased by your comment!

HYRULE FIELDS: Hildibrand Manderville!

@propro@prince of seraphs@scarifar

Hildibrand put a hand to his chin, and pondered for a time as Gaige went on about Terra being a "Siren" Insisting their are only six in the universe. Hildibrand of course knew that was impossible! As he had seen many spell slinging mages and villains in his time and it was most certainly the act of magic! And for the record, she was certainly no Siren!

"This lady cannot be a Siren! After all, the siren was but a powerful beast lurking within the depths of Pharos Sirius! A feathery demon, with yellow pigments, and a lack of proper etiquette when it came to manners and attire! This lovely mint haired lady is an elegant, beautiful woman, kind and gentle!

Hildibrand smiled proudly, and bowed to them both, before posing once again.

"Never fear, however, I won't let anything harm you both! You can count on it! I swear it on the esteem of my title as an Agent of Inquiry!"

It was then Gaige went on about stopping the Primal known as Leviathan and a bunch of vault talk that made little to know sense to him.

"Ah, The primal Leviathan! There's no need, as the warriors have light have stopped leviathan for now! Until the fishmen resurrect the Primal, then it won't be an issue! So there's no need to hunt that big fish! Be at ease! But what is this you are on about? These "Vaults"...? A treasure hunt, perhaps? Something tells me, Nashu would very much enjoy partaking in such a trip!"

When scout went on about wishing to leave, Hildibrand smiled rather oddly with joy when he insisted he could also come as well and nodded to the idea.

"If nobody knows where we are, then it appears we have no choice but to SCOUT ahead and learn about our new location! I say we head to that large castle in the distance, perhaps we may seek help from the local cityfolk and see if they can point us in the right direction back to our home cities! I'm sure Nashu is worried!"

Hildibrand was the first to move, putting himself as leader of the party, he suddenly however noticed his outfit and smiled.

"One moment however!"

Hildibrand in the speed of a lightning bolt, shot behind one of the walls. After a few seconds, followed by a quick beautiful shine light, Hildibrand stepped back out... His ruined clothing was gone, instead, replaced with the outfit of a true gentleman!

"Let us be off for the city! As a Manderville, I will not rest until you all are back home safe and sound! This mystery is truly a mysterious one! And I shall solve it before the week is out!"

With that, Hildibrand marched on, treaty blade in hand, heading off in the hopes the others will follow him. This was only the beginning of their adventure!

Denzel frowned somewhat in disappointment when Saidani disapproved of his outlook on love, though his frown shifted when Siegfried spoke up about how painful love was to some people. It was true, Having your loved ones pass away or leaving behind a loved one forever was a terrible thing, the fear of never coming back and breaking the heart of your family by dying, but, Denzel had to interject, he had to bring some light to the situation, some hope to the group.

"Well, that's why I'm here...! I've a duty to make sure everyone gets back to their loved ones as healthy as possible one day! Nothing would give me further joy than making sure you all went back to your families safe and sound! And I promise, i'll try my best to uphold my duty!"

Denzel rubbed his hands together softly, warming them up on the white flames he made within the fire, keeping to himself after his speech, only to move away and eat in peace, seeing everyone else eventually leaving and going off to their tents. Denzel went into his own and sat upon the ground, staring at his staff and lantern carefully, smiling gently as the flames lit up, they always helped to brighten him up emotionally, despite the fact they were about to go into battle, he kept a strong face on him, he had to stay strong for everyone.

But before he could relax for long, an order member pushed into his tent, and summoned him to General Kaldor. Denzel didn't refuse or look questionably at the man, and merely accepted the command, getting back up onto his feet, he bowed with graciousness and left with the member of the order, towards the commanders tent.

Denzel soon enough entered the tent, and bowed towards the commander.

"Present for the meeting sir" He spoke, before the others eventually started appearing, and thus, sat politely behind the others, until the strategist came into the tent and proceeded to go over the upcoming plan for their next hunt. Denzel listened intensely, and absorbed all the information from both Liang and Kaldor, until eventually it came time to ask questions, Denzel had none, and knew exactly what he needed to do, keep his allies alive and well. He turned to the rest of his allies and smiled, holding his staff close to him, a little nervous, but he swallowed it down.

"Don't worry, Working together, we'll be able to pull through this without much trouble! Just don't put yourselves into too much danger! I might be able to heal you, but I wouldn't WANT you to get hurt, okay? Never the less, we'll be fine. Just stick to the plan and handle things as they come! If we need to distract them, i can use some orbs of light to lure their eyes away... But..."

Denzel tightened his hands onto his staff, looking away, pensive it seemed. Though when he saw his allies staring he meekly looked down, awkwardly laughing lightly, before his smile drizzled into a worried frown.

"Do we... really have to kill them though...?"
