Henry

”Oh, oh, alright. Gotcha.” The clarification on how Denys' magic worked elicited a vigorous couple of nods from Henry. Satisfied with the other man's proposed course of action, he returned his focus to Candy Cane. In a way, her attire reminded him of a female dark mage's. Of course, this resemblance was only cursory. While she shared some of the sensuality that characterized their attire, there was none of the elegance or mystique. Candy Cane looked more like a prostitute than a mysterious, alluring magical force—not that Henry knew anything about them.

In short order Henry found himself beneath the microscope of Denys. Though many Plegians would have been instantly suspicious of anyone trying to glean any information about their theocracy, this dark mage answered without reserve. ”Harena? Hahah, nope. Actually, I don't know what the continent's called. We've got Ylisse on one side and Valm on the other, though if I'm not around to kill the nice folks from Valm, there's gonna be a whole lot more Valm in the world and a lot less everything else.” He shrugged, talking about the potential world conquest of the Valmese Emperor Walhart as if it were a sports team doing well in the current championship.

Birdie

Just when the big man thought his chain would ensnare Gaige and draw her into piece-of-mind-giving range, the thin guy in red leaped forward to pull her out of the way heroically. The chain itself continued on, flying toward the Scout, but before it even got close the familiar profile of a pistol appeared in his hand. Birdie's eyes almost popped out of his skull. He wouldn't even have time to protest before another gun-toting psychopath shot him full of holes! Just before the Scout started to fire, he vanished behind a sudden wall of flame. The fact that it damaged his favorite chain didn't matter so much; Birdie simply started running. He turned tail and hoofed it out of there with surprising speed. ”Aah! Does every bleedin' psycho on this stupid farm wanna put me in the ground? Why me!?” After making a mad dash out the main gate, he took it into his head to make a rush for a town in the distance. There, with buildings and people aplenty he could use for cover, he'd be safe. The thought that all of those people might have guns or molotovs crossed his mind as well, but he blanched and discarded it. With this in mind, he raced onto Hyrule Field.

At first, he didn't even notice the skeleton threat. One arm popped out of the ground to try and grab his boot only to be torn from its socket and thrown to the side. Birdie failed to even feel it; like a raging bull, he simple barreled heedlessly through obstructions. Only when a full-bodied skeleton rose from the earth a few meters before him did his eyebrows shoot up in surprise. ”Wot's this? Some 'alloween prank? I'm not in the mood!” Without a second's hesitation he ran straight into it, smashing it to the ground and then crushing its bones beneath his weight. He left it in his dust, thoroughly trampled and regretful. A few more skeletons appeared, but none could come close to stopping the big man's wild, adrenaline-fueled charge. That said, he did pick up some new scratches courtesy of undead fingers, but in this state Birdie didn't notice them, either.

By the time he reached the perimeter of Castle Town, he was huffing and puffing immensely. More than anything, he wanted to relax and eat, but Birdie could tell he wasn't in the clear yet. Between him and potential safety stood two women, one with a big sword and one two...no, four guns. Though maybe a little better than two people with guns and one with pyromania, this situation didn't sit well with Birdie. Lingering outside of effective handgun range, he wondered what he should do. A skeleton appeared beside him and swung its arm at his stomach, draw a few drops of blood. Baring his teeth in rage, Birdie grabbed the bony thing by its shoulder and bashed it with its head, instantly destroying the skull. As the thing collapsed, he looked back at the women, only to find them in the process of leaving. ”Finally, everything's comin' up Birdie!” With this pronouncement made, he walked in their footsteps and entered Castle Town.

HYRULE FIELDS: Hildibrand Manderville!

@propro@prince of seraphs@scarifar@lugubrious

Hildistand stood there, smiling all the while, not even phased that they didn't even answer or reply to him, though when the big plump looking biker came in to try and attack, Hildibrand was amazed by their heroics, especially that of Terra! Who was able to block the flames with fire magic! Eventually, the fat one ran off, leaving Hildibrand with a smile on his face.

"What a nice young man! But, to answer your question, my lady...!"

Hildibrand turned to Gaige.

"I believe you mean Eorzea...! After all, I was just in Ishgard speaking with my beautiful adopted little hildy when I found myself catapulted here! I've never heard of Pandora before! It sounds like a wonderful place! But i've never quite seen THIS part of Eorzea before! Stunning, i'd say! After all, you ARE using technology made by the imperials are you not?"

Hildibrand moved his gaze away from gaige to look at Terra, smiling politely in her direction.

"Your a black mage, yes? Quite the magic you used! Do you hail from Ul'dah?"

Gourd Lake:

The young punk ran towards the figures she had spotted though as she approached noticed one had turned her way. The punks eyes soon caught a sight of something that looked like fire appearing out of nowhere, most people would have stopped running yet she kept it up. "What the hell!" she said upon seeing such a thing, it was not something one saw every day. The fireball was soon launched away from her yet she still saw a fiery explosion only a few metres away from her. "What the hell?" she said somewhat worried and angry at the same time. Soon she was close enough to make the two out yet they stood out much more then she realised, it took a moment to sink in before she realised this. However, the person who cast the fireball seemed to have said something about not her not being very smart at interrupting something about something. Whatever he said was only half understood. However, it seemed he did not answer her question.

'Plegian dark mage, this guy must be crazy? Then again he did just fire a ball of fire my way,' she thought to herself. Candy Cane was not sure what she had walked into but she was rather lost and since they were the only people she had seen so far decided to stick about even if the so-called Plegian dark mage decided to cast another spell, which at this point was still shocking to see. At least the other person seemed to answer her question though it was not much of an answer. At least she had some names, the man who talked called themselves Denys who gave the name of the person next to him. 'Denys and Henry, should be easy enough to remember their names,' she thought to herself. The young punk quickly said her name "I'm Candy Cane and I've had a feeling we're not in Kansas anymore." Denys seemed to have a question or two to ask, one that sparked Candy Cane's own curiosity as she had never heard of Plegia or Harena.

She may have been a bad girl but she knew some things and neither of them rang any bells. The world was a big place but they did not sound real but she could not be sure for certain. The young punk had noticed that Henry had returned his focus on her, she could see it in his eyes but she was not sure what he was thinking. At this point, Candy Cane felt her arms getting tired because of the guitar she had on her, it was not strapped around her making her place it next to her feet where she leant it against her right boot and leg. The names Ylisse and Valm came up and yet she still had not heard of these places making her say something. "I have never heard of these places, it is anything like Canada or America? Maybe you are from England or Europe?" she asked the two. The two seemed like aliens though she herself seemed alien to them as well.

As Gaige lowered her shotgun to turn back to Scout, she saw his expression change. Curious, she turned her head back toward the incredibly large man just in time to see a chain flying toward her, yet he still did not appear to be marked red on her ECHO, which meant that he didn't have any kind of killing intent. That didn't stop Scout and the other woman, who Gaige now knew did not own the ranch, from overreacting. First Scout shoved Gaige out of the way, then the woman shouted some words and wall of blazing fire erupted from the earth itself. Surprised, but not totally bewildered, Gaige quickly got up only for Birdie to already be running off.

"Woah woah woah!" she shouted, approaching Scout and the woman without bothering to brush herself off. "What was with that?! Did we get involved in some kind of duel or something? Because that fatty didn't want to cause me any real harm, you know, or are your ECHO devices broken or something? You know I can fix them up." Taking another look over them all, Gaige noticed that they actually didn't have any ECHOs on hand, which she thought was particularly weird. Everyone that came to Pandora was given a free ECHO due to an old promotion run by Dahl that they never disabled when abandoning the planet. Her bewilderment showed clear on her face. That is, until the weird man from the dirt said something.

"Eorzea?" Gaige inquired, raising an eyebrow with a hand on her hip. "Never heard of that planet before..." she muttered to herself, ignoring the weirdo's statement that she was using technology made by the "Imperials," whoever those were. Then the weird man approached the other woman in the group and asked if she was a "black mage." Gaige had to step in, waving him off with her robotic hand.

"No no no, I'm sure it looks like magic to anyone that isn't entirely educated on the matter, but what we have here is a bonafide siren. It's pretty amazing actually. I mean, there are only supposed to be six in the universe at any given point in time, and I'm personal friends with two. You'd actually be the fourth one that I've met!" Gaige allowed herself to drop her guard by storing her shotgun back in her storage deck before she continued to address everyone. "Well wherever we are, anybody know how we got here? I mean, I'm no genius (well actually I am but that's beside the point), but it's pretty clear we're all from different planets, and I need to get back to Pandora. My friends need my help to hunt the Leviathan and scout out the rest of the Vaults in the universe. If you're badass enough, then I suppooooose you can come with me."

Spy - Gourd Lake

@Royzooka@Lmpkio

Spy eventually looked away from the sign. It wasn't like there was that much information on it, anyway. Spy still had little idea what country he was in, but it seemed like nothing here was about to kill him, not even the heavily armored super soldier, so that was a plus. Taking a drag of his cigarette, he began to follow Doomguy as they searched for clues. It wasn't a long walk, though it did take a bit of time, but they eventually reached a shack.

This immediately caught Spy's interest. With luck, they could find more clues about their situation, or Spy might even be able to find a phone and contact Ms. Pauling. Spy needed no further encouragement from Doomguy to make his way towards the shack. However, it seems as though there were already others nearby, if the sounds of chatter were anything to go by. "Wait," Spy said as he grabbed Doomguy's shoulder and walked ahead of him. After reaching into a fold in his suit and pulling out his butterfly knife, Spy then activated his Invis-Watch and stealthily made his way towards Candy Cane, Henry, and Denys. Spy had no way of knowing if this group was hostile or not, which is why he was attempting to observe them first. Once he figured that out, he would decide on his next course of action.

Scout - Hyrule Fields

As Scout fired off a few shots at Birdie, a wall of flame shot up between them. Startled, Scout leapt back a step as he exclaimed, "Holy crap!" Scout stared at the flames until they disappeared, then realized that Birdie was no longer around. With the fatass out of the picture, Scout decided to move on from the issue and returned his attention to the girls nearby, and the other only guy around here too while he was at it.

Currently, though, the conversation was getting far too confusing to follow. There was something about Pandora and Endora or whatever, and something about Sirens and magic. What little he did gather from all that, though, was that no one seemed to know where on Earth they were. Scout decided it was time to interject, "Ok, so no one knows anything about this place or each other, great. I'm gettin' outta here, and either of you gorgeous single ladies can come along with handsome ol' Scout here." Scout also pointed to Hildibrand and added, "And, uh, maybe you can come too."

Doomguy - Gourd Lake

As the hefty space marine and the sneaky spy unit traverse through the shores of the lake, they eventually arrive at the boat dock. Surely some supplies were around in the shed right? But as he approaches the dock, he soon realizes that they were not the only ones around here. He can see three people congregating on the docks. However, these guys didn't look like the most normal of folk. There were two men, one having some strange robe, and a girl with blue hair. They didn't look hostile, but before Doomguy heads into the dock, he was stopped by the Spy as he grabbed his shoulder plate.

"Wait,"

Doomguy simply turned his head at his direction, as if he was thinking on challenging him. But of course, this was just an insignificant man, and not a corrupt corporate business CEO like Samuel Hayden. He simply stopped and let the man pass ahead of him. He can see Spy pull out a knife and a watch, suddenly turning invisible as he supposedly inspects the group. The marine didn't see a real need for him to do so, but then again, he's an imposing space marine that has killed thousands of demons back in his universe. While he considers on just barging in and trying to find some more ammo for his weapons, he simply waits in the trees, taking out his trusty shotgun and cradling it in his hands.

Bayonetta - Hyrule Fields

As the two head towards the nearby castle, Bayonetta quickly shoots down the oncoming horde of skeletons, using her weaponry quickly and efficiently. They just keep on coming! At least these skeletons are hilariously weak towards the Umbra witch herself. Too bad they weren't Angels.

"So, Are you from around here? We're kinda lost." Blu asked.

"Sorry dear," the witch replies as she decapitates a skeleton with a kick of her heel, "I just happened to arrive here minutes ago."

Blu then says something else. "Hey, this is Red. We're from Cloudbank. Who are you?"

"Bayonetta or 'Cereza.'" she replies casually, "Take your pick. Never heard of this 'Cloudbank' you speak of. Don't tell me it's a bank where you get your cloud deposits!"

She joked about this of course, but regardless that wasn't the main question.

Kaiser Oblivion - Gourd Lake

Candy Cane. That was the woman who had joined them. She also mention some bizarre place, probably her home town. Speaking of towns, Henry mentioned quite a few that Denys had never heard of. Apparently one was in the process of military conquest and expansion. He heard nothing of any sort of thing like that. The girl also mentioned some places which he had never heard of. Hmm. He was beginning to doubt he had come back into the past. Not one of them knew where they were, and they all brought up separate locations. Perhaps they had all used the compass? No, that was a long shot. For now, it would be best to try and find a local.

"I believe we all come from separate walks. It would be a good idea to continue searching for someone who knows where we are. While we walk, what year do you remember it being, Henry, Miss Cane?" He asked the two, while beginning to make his way in the opposite direction of where they woman came from, towards the tables and odd building. Maybe someone there hadn't been seemingly hurdled through time and space.

Red - Hyrule Field

Both Red and, judging by the inquisitive sounds from the Transistor, Blu were surprised at the fact that Bayonetta, or Cereza as she offered, had also appeared here just a few minutes ago. The woman had also never heard of Cloudbank and made a very... obvious joke about its name. Blu politely but awkwardly laughed. Red didn't bother.

As the two neared the Castle Town, they all noticed the drawbridge, barring them from entering. "Damn. We'll have to find a way in." Commented Mr. Nobody. Red, frustrated, turned around to follow the moat to see if there was some way to enter through there, only to find a fat man with a mohawk. He epitomized the word punk, with bright yellow hair, chains, and a large tattoo on his bare chest. Red simply shook her head in disappointment at the odd people outside cloudbank. Blu seemed almost baffled, before saying "Maybe if we just ignore him, he'll leave. Cereza, any ideas on how to get into that castle?"

HYRULE FIELDS: Hildibrand Manderville!

@propro@prince of seraphs@scarifar

Hildibrand put a hand to his chin, and pondered for a time as Gaige went on about Terra being a "Siren" Insisting their are only six in the universe. Hildibrand of course knew that was impossible! As he had seen many spell slinging mages and villains in his time and it was most certainly the act of magic! And for the record, she was certainly no Siren!

"This lady cannot be a Siren! After all, the siren was but a powerful beast lurking within the depths of Pharos Sirius! A feathery demon, with yellow pigments, and a lack of proper etiquette when it came to manners and attire! This lovely mint haired lady is an elegant, beautiful woman, kind and gentle!

Hildibrand smiled proudly, and bowed to them both, before posing once again.

"Never fear, however, I won't let anything harm you both! You can count on it! I swear it on the esteem of my title as an Agent of Inquiry!"

It was then Gaige went on about stopping the Primal known as Leviathan and a bunch of vault talk that made little to know sense to him.

"Ah, The primal Leviathan! There's no need, as the warriors have light have stopped leviathan for now! Until the fishmen resurrect the Primal, then it won't be an issue! So there's no need to hunt that big fish! Be at ease! But what is this you are on about? These "Vaults"...? A treasure hunt, perhaps? Something tells me, Nashu would very much enjoy partaking in such a trip!"

When scout went on about wishing to leave, Hildibrand smiled rather oddly with joy when he insisted he could also come as well and nodded to the idea.

"If nobody knows where we are, then it appears we have no choice but to SCOUT ahead and learn about our new location! I say we head to that large castle in the distance, perhaps we may seek help from the local cityfolk and see if they can point us in the right direction back to our home cities! I'm sure Nashu is worried!"

Hildibrand was the first to move, putting himself as leader of the party, he suddenly however noticed his outfit and smiled.

"One moment however!"

Hildibrand in the speed of a lightning bolt, shot behind one of the walls. After a few seconds, followed by a quick beautiful shine light, Hildibrand stepped back out... His ruined clothing was gone, instead, replaced with the outfit of a true gentleman!

youtube.com/watch?v=AqTmMUdKlO4

"Let us be off for the city! As a Manderville, I will not rest until you all are back home safe and sound! This mystery is truly a mysterious one! And I shall solve it before the week is out!"

With that, Hildibrand marched on, treaty blade in hand, heading off in the hopes the others will follow him. This was only the beginning of their adventure!

Terra Branford - Hyrule Fields

The thug that had been approaching quickly ran off when he realized that two of party were armed and a third wielded fire arcana. The weapons that Scout and Gaige had were strangely designed indeed. Like almost nothing Terra had ever seen before. They did bear a passing resemblance to the canons of the Magitek Elite Armour that fired Magic Missles but these were far too compact for that purpose. The only way that Terra actually knew they were weapons was from the way Scout and Gaige pointed them at the potential threat.

Gaige for some reason seemed surprised that everyone had reacted to an attack with defensive and offensive maneuvers. Terra wasn't sure exactly when but at some point she had discounted the possibility that Gaige was working for the Gestahlian Empire despite the Magitek melded to her body. She must have obtained it from elsewhere as no one under Kefka's rule would be able to hold onto that carefree and energetic state of mind.

Gaige questioned whether their "Echo Devices" were working as though it was something everyone knew. Terra couldn't decipher what she was talking about. The only object of any sort of importance named Echo that Terra was aware of was a herb that grew plentifully in the Gestahlian Empire and the surrounding countries. It was used as a cure for vocal maladies and curses that effected someone's ability to speak.

She proceeded to make even less sense as she justified Terra's abilities to the overzealous and eccentric Hildibrand as those of a "Siren". Siren was one of the first Espers that Terra had obtained and though the skills her magicite could bestow were basic she served as a good way to introduce her fellow Returners to using magicite to learn magic.

It didn't seem like this was what she was referring to as it seemed Gaige was trying to deny the existence of magic altogether. Hildibrand was not stupid, or at least not as stupid as he appeared and rebuffed her claims that Terra was not a magician. He clearly knew the Siren as some kind of monster and was kind enough to say that such a lovely lady as herself could never be such a creature. Terra dropped her gaze. She wondered if he would find her so beautiful if he ever say her Esper form.

Terra felt the need to prove Hildibrand's point even further. "I'm a former Magitek Elite. My ancestry grants me powerful abilities regarding both fire and healing. As well as a few other tricks." Terra didn't really feel the need to reveal her status as a half-esper. Where she came from it make her a freak and though her closest friends were understanding most people were not.

To make the point about her magic more obvious Terra blinked once and vanished from where she stood appearing a few meters away just behind Hildibrand. "Magic." She said nonchalantly to Gaige.

The tech girl did bring up a good point though. Each of them had named a different place as home, was familiar or not with different levels of technology and arcana. All of them had vastly different skill sets. Was it possible that Terra was no longer in her own world. The Warring Triad represented the gateway between the Esper realm and the mortal one. As it became misaligned by Kefka perhaps it was possible that it had shunted the people closest to it into other worlds. It would certainly explain the bizarre nature of the place she now stood.

Hilibrand elected himself leader of their little group and decided that it was time they head for the castle in the distance. As he was beginning to march off Terra grabbed his collar forcing him to stop. "That might be a little hasty. Look at this place, it has clearly been lived in recently, it's safeguarded from the monsters outside and yet there is no one here. No one responded to the sound Scout's weapon made. No one has come to yell at me for the damage my fire caused to the ground. Shouldn't we investigate what happened to these people?" Failing that as it was possible the others weren't curious or caring enough to do so Terra pointed to the other end of the farm. At that end there was a corral with a number of large beasts penned inside. Though Terra had never seen them before they appeared saddled like chocobo. They looked too well groomed to be labor creatures so Terra assumed they were meant to be ridden. "At the very least we might acquire some of the mounts in the pen over there."

Henry

As shocked as she seemed a moment ago, the new arrival recovered quickly. Her ‘name’ tickled Henry’s funnybone. ”Ahah…really? Like the treat? What awful luck! If only there was a curse to change names…” While he didn’t recognize the place she mentioned -at least, he assumed it to be a place- he felt he got the gist of what she was trying to say. Unfortunately, he expected her to continue talking, but she went quiet. His extremely narrow-eyed gaze shifted to her instrument, which aroused his curiosity. In only a few moments the dark mage then lost interest and settled for thinking of it as some strange form of lute. ”That’s two strikes for you lot,” he cheerily replied when she questioned the location of Plegia. ”Never heard of those places either. The continent Plegia’s in doesn’t have a name. Maybe once it’s united it’ll land one…get it?” Henry scanned the others’ faces for appreciation of his humor.

With an indifferent shrug the Plegian agreed to Denys’ plan to find a local. He got the message quickly and strolled after the Kaiser, hands clasped in front of him and the tome tucked beneath an arm. The next question didn’t faze him at all, and Henry replied with a straight face, ”Days, months, years…doesn’t matter to me. I’m just around to enjoy life! Ooh, especially taking it. I miss my ravens…” A sudden change in topic as well as mood came over him, and he leaned on one of the tables as he passed. Wistfully he stared at the ground, though to the others it could very well appear that he just lowered his head with his eyes closed in grief. As if someone flipped a switch, however, he snapped back to life the next second. ”Anyway! I’m totally down for talking up some of the locals. If they don’t want to talk, even better! Though maybe you’d be better off leading.” His brows furrowed momentarily as he sauntered after Denys. ”So what’s your thing, Denys? I betcha got more up your sleeve than passive heals.”

Gourd Lake:

The red headed punk just listened to the two speak as she dug her right boot into the ground crashing the dirt under her. Henry started to babble on about things, something about her name and a curse. She would find it weird but the fireball from early was hard to top. "Yes, like the treat. GOD, you better not have any jokes about that either magic man," she said. He soon mentioned two strikes, did the punk miss something as she was unsure what he was even going on about at this time. She would have asked but frankly she did not want to know at this time. He seemed to have not heard about the places she and Denys came from, once again she was not shocked by this as they dressed rather strangely, plus the fireball really put things into focus.

Denys had soon asked them both a question as the three began to walk somewhere, the punk having to carry her guitar once more. Candy Cane knew what year it was but did it really matter, she could be rude about it but so far no one had rubbed her the wrong way. Plus this place was rather different to the places she had been to before. "2006, why is it important to know?" she asked curiously. Henry seemed rather talkative, the young punk was not sure what to make of this either. Candy Cane just wanted to know what was happening and why she was here. But it seemed those answers were not going to come to light anytime soon. As the punk moved she had a feeling someone was watching her, she could not see anyone yet the feeling was present.

It was very strange and it creeped her out, perhaps it would pass in a moments time. However, it did not but she could not say why. She wondered if Henry or Denys felt the same, she would ask but she did not want to seem crazier than she already was. The guitar had been strapped around her body and as she moved she played a few chords though no sound was made other than the sounds of the strings that were played. 'I wonder why this thing came with me, is it important? At least I still have my championship belt,' she thought to herself. In this moment of time, she was just following them, they probably had better bearings than she did at this time as well. The punk was still very confused about what happened as she was thrown into this unknown world.

She did hope Miss Spencer was OK, though she would never dare to admit it to anyone. They were now near some tables and a building, the punk did not pay much attention to it. The feeling of being watched soon went away as she became distracted by the guitar she was messing around with.

Gaige sat back quietly (truly a remarkably challenging task for her) as the other three around her went on in their own manner. Scout (Gaige had heard stranger names and so didn't give it any second thought) was clearly stressed by the situation and wanted to just leave. She gave it some consideration. After all, while she couldn't actually take on a never ending swarm of skeletons by herself, there was strength in numbers. Plus one of them was a Siren, so booyah to that! Only both the woman herself (whom still hadn't introduced herself and so Gaige had labeled her as "Green-hair") and the strange man (whom she decided to call "Hildy") countered Gaige's assertion that the woman was a siren, and that magic was indeed real.

"Hahaha," Gaige chuckled. "Magic. That's rich, really. You probably just don't realize what a siren is, but that's ok. Not many people know anything about it." She had ignored the part they had brought up about knowing of many individuals that could perform similar feats. The young girl placed the barrel of her TORGUE shotgun in the dirt and leaned up against the grip, showing her rather calm and lackadaisical attitude before responding to the strange man. "You're talking about ancient Greek myths of the siren as a monstrous creature. Those haven't been relevant in, what, over 40,000 years? I don't think anybody even still lives on earth. I'm talking about the very real, measured and observed phenomenon of women that possess fantastic powers that allow them access to altering the laws of reality. Only six ever exist at one time, nobody knows where their powers come from, but they're always distinguishable by the tattoos that cover half their bod-"

Gaige froze in mid-sentence as she realized something. Something obvious. Something wrong. Green-hair... Didn't have tattoos. But sirens always had tattoos. In over 10,000 years of study on the subject across the Six Galaxies every single instance of a siren had ornate alien tattoos covering approximately half of their body. Not Green-hair. Gaige almost stumbled, but caught herself on the shotgun.

"Woah, ok, this is weird." Thoughts raced across the young girl's mind, dominating all of her concentration. Thoughts formed into ideas. Ideas shaped theories. Theories just brought about more questions, but after a couple seconds she addressed the others. "Ok, I have some theories, but they're all pretty whacked. I thought that maybe I was brought somewhere uncharted on Pandora, or another planet, but maybe that's not right. I could have been brought somewhere outside of the six explored and inhabited galaxies, into another portion of the universe entirely. Or maybe... " She looked around at the ranch, then up at the moon in the sky, which hadn't moved from its position even slightly since they had escaped the skeletons. "Maybe we've been taken rom time! Or or or to a different reality!"

More thoughts, more ideas, more theories crammed themselves into Gaige's mind. How could something like that have been possible? Did someone open a Vault that acted as a gateway? Were there still some Eridians around and they did this? Was stockpiling all that eridium ore somehow responsible? Lilith was a powerful siren that could phase an entire city when she had enough fuel, but that only amounted to moving through space and reappearing somewhere else. Did she, or some other unimaginably powerful siren, somehow phase through dimensions? Immediately Gaige began processing what she would need to test such a theory, and for that she would need machine parts. Equipment to build a temporal or spacial resonator to measure the vibrational frequency of the atoms around.

"We need to find any parts we can!" Gaige suddenly snapped back to life around the others, just in time for Green-hair to suggest they get some horses. "Good idea! These are excellent beasts of burden, able to carry ungodly amounts of loot, whether by saddle or trailer or whatever, so it'd be great to have them. I need to build something to find out where we are, and then I might, might, be able to build something that can take us all home."

Gaige looked down at her robotic arm, suddenly feeling a pang of loneliness. Deathtrap's coding was damaged, so she couldn't digistruct him. That meant things would be that much more dangerous, but it also meant that she was alone with a group of strangers that she, for all intents and purposes, didn't know she could fully trust. Sure, her ECHO didn't mark them red on her HUD, but that only measured active killing intent. If any of them had some other agenda, but no intention to cause her physical harm at this moment, then it would register them as friendlies. She sighed.

"Alright, I'm putting a butt ton of trust in you guys. Scout, Green-hair, Hildy, I'm registering you all as 'party members' on my ECHO. That means that I should be able to keep tabs of your locations on the map that generates for my reference. If any of you have any kind of communications equipment, I'll need the frequency so that I can call you, just in case we get separated." She turned toward the corral and began the small trek to get herself a horse, while listening for the others to let her know if they had any communications equipment.

Hyrule Castle Town Market

The event that had brought many strange people to the land of Hyrule had also irrevocably damaged the Kingdom's greatest city. The main street was eerily calm, the bricks whitewashed and polished. A door stood to the right built into the wall, no doubt some sort of guard station. A man dressed in full armour with a spear planted firmly in the ground stood just outside the door watching the street. It looked for all intents and purposes like an ordinary town. That was until you looked a little deeper.

As one moved down the street they would notice small discrepancies, single bricks that looked as though they'd been through a violent fire surrounded by perfectly unharmed ones. More and more such things would become evident till one looked upon the town square. The main market of Hyrule Castle Town was in every sense of the word erratic. It was as if a warhead had fallen on the town yet when rebuilding commenced only some buildings had been repaired. Not in a half finished construction either. There were full buildings that looked perfectly pristine and open for business, some even a little worn down like they had been there awhile. These were next to other buildings that were completely burnt out, collapsed roofs, walls falling in, wood rotting away.

A building with the face of a bearded man emblazoned on it along with the word "Bizarre" was completely untouched while the shop next to it had been leveled down to the foundation leaving only a mass of collapsed wood and the outline of a house behind. The buildings that lined the initial street were all in perfect order except the auction house had the awning in front of it ripped away while the Treasure Chest Shop was stable on the sides facing the street but two thirds of it facing the market had completely collapsed and burned leaving the remainder in nearly perfect condition.

Though the mask shop was still standing it was a travesty of its former glory, the bright and extravagant colors were gone and barely more than the skeleton of the place was still upright. The roof had collapsed and a mass off wood and other buildings materials littered the inside which was barely recognizable. Strangely though directly to the left of the Mask Shop was what appeared to be a near identical duplicate, albeit it was only about half the shop but it appeared that a section of it was double and placed in the center of the road. Most of the sign could be made out and the similarities with the building directly next to it were unmistakable. Unfortunately lacking a foundation in the middle of the road this mysterious copy had collapsed into any space it could find. Though it still held its shape more or less it completely blocked the road to Hyrule Castle.

The buildings in the Northwest corner of the square were oddly untouched though completely deserted. In the center of the market was a fountain. The stone it was made of was scorched black with barely more than a centimeter of putrid water in the bottle but the hand rail that lined it was perfectly intact, in fact it looked as though it had been polished just that day.

Between the collapsed Mask Shop and the remains of the Potions Shop (next to the bizarre) was a road which though scared in some places was more or less alright. It led to a small garden that surrounded a great cathedral (Temple of Time) which strangely enough seemed to be made of either brilliantly polished white stone or brown stone that looked as though it had been through a bombing, depending on where you looked at it from. The door to the cathedral was sealed from the inside while the garden outside was a combination of blooming plant life and very very dead flora. Four stones stood around a small pool at the entrance each carved with an eye that seemed to stare into a person's soul. The water in the pool was gone, boiled off years ago leaving only small puddles at the bottom.

The sides streets were not as damaged as the main area, the buildings were all standing though some looked severely damaged as though they were a good punch away from collapsing while others were like much of the town in pristine condition. For any who cared to look there was the body of a dead guard collapsed in a heap in one of the back alleys.

The strangest thing about this town however was the light. It was inconstantly, while near the pristine parts of the square there was brilliant sunlight which made the destruction in the area seem almost inconsequential as a magnificent castle looked down on everything from the distance. However when you stepped on the destroyed patches the light turned dark and sinister, the air became heavy and humid and a purple smog seemed to hover over everything. The castle in the distance shifted to a cruel tower suited only for a tyrant.

Scattered throughout the place were what looked to be serious burn victims scattered about, their skin was charred brown so they were indistinguishable from one another. In the daylight they looked strangely like ordinary pedestrians, though there physical appearance did not change while in the dark they looked like sinister monsters. These Redeads lumbered around the square but would not go near any part of the Market that wasn't in shambles.

HYRULE FIELDS: Hildibrand Manderville!

@propro@prince of seraphs@scarifar

Feeling the touch of the beautiful mint haired lady pull him back, Hildibrand turned, the smile on the gentleman never once leaving his esteemed visage, accepting her pull, he stopped moving, listening to her words. Hildibrand beamed brightly at the power of her deduction, and held a finger up, as if a lightbulb had just shun in his head!

"Indeed! Why, you have the mind of an Agent of Inquiry, my dear! That is most certainly a great idea! Why, you remind me of Briardien! It is quite peculiar! With no people in sight, and with us the only ones here, aside from those dapper gentleman... Why it is a mystery and a half! Oh! That also reminds me! I never once asked for you name, my lady? May I ask what it would be, if it is no inconvenience to yourself?"

Hildibrand bowed to her with the utmost respect, before raising his head up high to smile to Gaige, who had begun to look... confused, even nauseous, in Hildibrands eyes, half almost about to ask her if she wished for a bucket, though she seemed to strike some form of mental cord, coming up with all manners of different ideas and theories. It was then she came to the thought of... a different reality! Hildibrands voice boomed loudly, his goofy smile only stretching!

"Of course! Why that makes perfect sense! Our views of reality are completely different from each other, and we each call home a different name! Why, I bet none of you know what a Primal is! Or who Greg is for that matter! If that is the case, then it might not be so far fetch to assume we have all been brought together from other timelines! Why, the treaty blade has shot me to another dimension! How peculiar!"

Being added to Gaige's "echo" device, as a party member, Hildibrand could only flex and bow with gentlemanly thanks before approaching the location of the horses by following her, still holding Terra's hand, as the gentleman walked along with her, politely by his side, as if walking a woman down the wedding aisle! Though when Gaige asked for any communication equipment, Hildibrand nodded his head.

"Ah, perhaps this would work!"

From his pocket, Hildibrand used a freehand to remove a small piece of Imperial Garlean Technology, a small peculiar metal device.

"This is a Magitek Transceiver! It has the ability to communicate long distances, but will explode if it is a certain distance away from me! I had a friend make it for me! Perhaps it can be used to communicate with you?"

Scout - Hyrule Fields

@Happy Go Lucky@ProPro@Prince of Seraphs

Scout wanted to leave right away, but he wasn't about to leave behind two girls without scoring some extra points with them first. They were still talking about the weird topics of Sirens and magic, but Scout could live with that.

"Hey, I didn't believe in magic, either," Scout said to Gaige. "Then this crazy wizard Merasmus decides that he wants to kill me and my team every Halloween. Of course, I drove him back every Halloween. The others on my team helped too, sure, but I was definitely the star of every battle." The last part was completely untrue, but it wasn't like they needed to know that.

Then Gaige explained her theories as to what was going on, few of which made any sense to Scout, but the last one stuck. "Another world?" Scout asked incredulously. As he thought about it, though, he realized it was very much possible. With magic thrown into the mix, pretty much anything was possible. Scout had certainly been thrown around in other worlds a few times himself, so it wasn't like he was a stranger to the phenomenon. In every event, though, it always involved Merasmus, and Scout certainly didn't remember seeing Merasmus around this time. Heck, it wasn't even Halloween yet.

In any case, just standing around wasn't going to solve anything. Fortunately, it seemed like Terra was already on the case, explaining the idea of horses for the job. "Oh hell yeah, horses!" Scout cheered. "That'll work, for sure." Admittedly, Scout had never ridden a horse before, but how hard could it be?

On the subject of devices and communication, Scout said, "I already got a headset here, so I'm set," tapping the device covering his left ear.

Spy - Gourd Lake

@Royzooka@Lugubrious@Lmpkio@Kafka Komedy

As Spy watched the group enter the shack nearby, Spy uncloaked and walked over to the entrance of the shack, leaning against the wall and peering over his shoulder as he listened in further. Judging from his brief observation of them, Spy doubted that they would be immediately hostile. At the very least, not to himself. Doomguy, however, would be a different story. Considering his appearance, it would be hard for just about anyone to not consider the super soldier as someone to be wary of.

With that in mind, Spy positioned himself in front of the entrance and knocked on the wall. The group inside the shack would most likely hear it. As Spy did so, he looked over at Doomguy and gestured for him to come over. Now, all Spy could do was wait for a response.

Henry

While still waiting for Denys to reply, and starting to get a little bummed out that the Kaiser might have started ignoring him out of the blue, Henry became aware of a knock at the door to the little shack he'd only just now entered with his new acquaintances. Naturally, he leaped at the chance—both figuratively and literally. He hopped to it, producing another tome from his robe as he did so. Compared to the first tome he'd shown off, which glowed softly like a lit brazier thanks to the destructive fire spell it housed, this one seemed far more ominous. Its very presence out in the open came across as unnerving, as if it contained a nasty sorcery that should never see the light of day.

With this in hand the dark mage strode to the ajar door and pushed it open wider, revealing a man in a red suit and mask side by side with a strange knight. The armor of the warrior, rounded and tight rather than plated, seemed to Henry evocative of the distinctive gear of the Dread Fighter. Though this set him on edge slightly, his smile did not waver, and with open arms he declared, ”More misfits come to join the party, huh? Come on in!” His lack of concern for the possibility that these newcomers might be hostile was a telling hint about his nature. Of course, the malevolent-aired book in his left hand, and the hair-raising pressure it exuded, helped convey this.

Birdie

(@lmpkio, @kafka komedy)

Red did not, unfortunately, temper her words so that Birdie couldn't possibly hear. An angry sneer crossed over his face. Leaning forward somewhat with his hands jammed in his vest pockets, he sauntered toward the two women. Though one rivaled him in height and obviously held several guns close at hand, the other wielded a large sword. At the moment, though, Birdie was too pissed and embarrassed from earlier to back down again. ”Ey!” he called in his distinctive gruff, accented tone. ”Wot's yer problem, then? I ain't done nothin' to ya. If you birds wanna be all 'igh and mighty, you go right ahead. I'm not stayin' in this field fer one more minute. Don't say I didn't warn ya 'bout the bloody psychos with guns at the ranch.”

Heedless of whatever Red and Bayonetta thought their personal bubbles might be, Birdie strode forward until he stood on the edge of the moat. He stood there for a moment, staring at the upraised drawbridge, and came to the decision that the best option would be to pull it down with his chains. Brashly he estimated this feet to be doable with his strength, but after whirling his chains and snagging those of the drawbridge, he discovered very quickly that the thing would not be budged. Whether the problem was the drawbridge's weight or some sort of lock on its chains, Birdie honestly couldn't say, but he grimaced to think that he could spend all night tugging and still not move it an inch. He snuck an annoyed glance at the women, trying to make sure they weren't making fun of him.

Another idea struck him a few seconds later, though one decidedly less good. Taking a deep breath, the ex-Shadaloo tested his chains' grip before leaping off the precipice to dangle precariously in midair. While the force might have pulled the arms off of a lesser man, Birdie's thick, muscular arms bore the stress, and with an upper body strength only describable as startling he hauled himself up foot by foot until he could clamber onto the ramparts. There he sat, wheezing badly, for a few minutes, but not before he called down to Bayonetta and Red, ”Wotcha think o' that, then? I'm the 'igh one now.”

Doomguy - Gourd Lake

Usually Doomguy would go about his own business at this point. Even with the Spy being around him and doing most of the work for him, he isn't the type to usually stand around. However, he still sticks around, in fact he slowly goes towards the shack, just as the other three decided to enter it as well. He tightened his grip on his shotgun, getting a little angry that they managed to get in there first. If there's a weapon inside that has a use to him, he will get it. Or at least some ammo, because he's running quite low on them after his battle with the Spider Mastermind.

Regardless, it seems that the Spy happens to knock on the door and begins gesturing him to come over. Looks like Doomguy didn't have a choice, but on the bright side he may still be able to enter the shack and find some supplies. Even if it were coming down to a fight, Doomguy seems to be one of, if not THE, most powerful figure in this location. He has taken the forces of Hell, so killing these guys, if push comes to shove, will be too easy.

As the door opens to reveal a white haired figure at the door, greeting them with open arms, Doomguy wastes no time in shoving him out of the way, giving no shits whatsoever, in one fair swoop and begins inspecting any nook and cranny for some weapon or ammunition, even if there were two other guys inside. But he didn't care, and he didn't bother on paying much attention to him. There's gotta be some ammo in here right?

@Kafka Komedy@Lugubrious
Bayonetta - Hyrule Fields

As the two neared the castle, they both soon realize that it was closed, with the drawbridge up and preventing them from getting across.

"Well," Bayonetta says with an annoyed sigh, "Looks like we didn't get the royal invitation."

"Damn. We'll have to find a way in." Commented Mr. Nobody.

As they try to find a way in, they see a rather fat man, looking much like a punk, with bright yellow hair, chains, and a large tattoo on his bare chest. Bayonetta wasn't intimidated by him, but regardless he wasn't their top priority.

Blu seemed almost baffled, before saying "Maybe if we just ignore him, he'll leave. Cereza, any ideas on how to get into that castle?"

As soon as she finished though, the big man from earlier was to get to the top of the castle rampants via his chains that were able to pulls him up. It kinda reminded her of a popular show some people were talking about, Attack on Something-something, with these humans using some gear and wires to fly about towns and walls and whatnot. He might've gotten the memo, but was rather perverted in the way he executed it.

There he sat, wheezing badly, for a few minutes, but not before he called down to Bayonetta and Red, ”Wotcha think o' that, then? I'm the 'igh one now.”

While Bayonetta can easily jump to the wall no problem thanks to her super strength and agility, she has to remember that she has a partner with her. And unless your name happened to be a little "Cereza" or a boy named "Loki", it would be a little difficult to do so. Besides, Bayo is already figuring out that most of her powers were unavailable anyways. But then she thought of something.

"I got an idea," she says, looking at Red, "But you guys aren't going to like it that much."

With that, she looks up to see the fat man from above.

"Hey hoss!" she calls out from below, "Can you be a gentleman and give these two lovely ladies a hand here?"

Red and Nobody will definitely not like this plan, but it's the only one available.

Caretaker's Shack - Gourd Lake

As the Doom Marine began to search the small room he disturbed the red parrot in the corner. The bird fixed him with a stare that seemed strangely intelligent before it let out a squawk and shouted "Don't forget DL-6!". It cocked its head to the side but its appeared as though its neck started to spasm as a its head jerked back and forth between slightly cocked and upright. Then it froze mid movement, gave another loud squawk and shouted out "The world is wrong! The world is wrong!"

Kaiser Oblivion - Gourd Lake

The Kaiser laughed a tiny bit at Henry's joke, but didn't miss the meaning of the sentence. Wherever he lived, the continent was probably in infancy, and was fighting said war for land. Though this helped discern that Henry was most likely from the past, Denys was not certain. Henry didn't seem to know or care what year it was. Miss Cane, on the other hand, responded that she was from 2006, more than 300 years before Denys had been born. As the three walked towards some sort of shack, Henry probed Denys about his abilities. It was only fair, Henry had displayed his proficiency for spells.

But the Kaiser ran into an issue in how to describe it. His abilities were quite out there, to say the least. Many would regard them as useless and needlessly complex, but Denys knew how to use them well. He rubbed his hand over the asterisk badge he had pilfered so many years ago, still with him now even after all this, after he had mastered the job and it became part of him. The sentimentality of the moment was enhanced as the futuristic woman played a few notes on her lute. He barely even noticed he and the group had entered the shack, but once the door was knocked on, he snapped back into reality. It was unlike him to get so emotional, it was best if he put it away for now and tried to explain to Henry what he did.

As Henry greeted the two new men, one seemingly a diplomat in an odd suit, and the other an obvious knight, though the design of his suit was quite innovative. The interlocking pieces were curved, allowing blows to glance off more easily, and a thick glass was inserted where most knights simply allowed nothing. Though the Kaiser was quite taken by the man's(?) armor, he was not taken by his behavior. The knight roughly shoved Henry out of the way, and began searching the cabin for something. Denys hated, more than anything in this world, others being trotted on. He quickly drew his Claymore, and commanded the knight. "You will apologize to my acquaintance." He demanded, before an odd squawk sounded. It was by a bird, rambling on about something. Though the phrase "The world is wrong" did catch his attention, the Kaiser did not back down. It seemed Henry would get to see his abilities in action, rather than having them explained.

Gourd Lake:

Candy Cane kept herself distracted for a bit as she kept playing a few chords, the guitar itself was in its standard tuning. Her fingers moved over the E, A, D, G, B, E strings as she made a few chords though they were spaced out from one another as if she was trying to figure something out. This guitar seemed to be the only thing that made any sense to her, but at least the people she was with were not dickish or they would have to deal with the bad girl/bitch side of Candy Cane. The word bastard was used a lot know that she thought about it, that or she would yell something to state she was mad. It was rather easy to do as she remembered getting mad in the last three fights before fighting her teach and coming to this world.

Her thoughts were soon interrupted as she heard a knock making her turn to the doorway where she watched some armoured guy push Henry out of the way. She did not pay much attention to Henry or Denys at this point as she watched the armoured figure look around for something. She did not say anything as she watched hm search the place top to bottom, her eyes looked over the armour they were wearing. She had never seen something like that before unless one watched a movie or played a video game. The punk soon lost interest though the weapons they had looked rather dangerous. Even though they forced their way in they had no hostile actions that followed for now. What could the redhead punk even do if trouble had turned up, her guitar against his armour would do nothing and trying to wrestle him would be far too difficult due to his protection.

Denys did not seem to happy with what happened as he demanded the armoured figure to apologise to Henry. Candy Cane could not see the mysterious figure doing, he seemed like a badass and she liked the do whatever I want attitude. The punk soon left the room and went outside where she saw another figure. She just gave him a look, nothing that gave any impressions. Just one that had a somewhat surprise on her face. He looked like a robber or a mugger though both were the same. She was not sure what the masked guys intentions were as she soon spoke up. "So, doing some daylight robbing are we Mr thief?" She said to the man in the mask. Her eyes did not leave the figure, she was not sure if he was hostile or not?

She would be wary of the masked man until some form of action or understanding happened. Today had been one of those strange days where nothing made sense. However, her attention soon turned elsewhere when she heard "Don't forget DL-6!" and "The world is wrong! The world is wrong!" She knew the world was wrong since each person she had seen were completely different to each other in style and in talents. Her attention soon went back to the masked robber guy who was actually a spy but she did not know that yet. "So your friend in there, is he your bodyguard, friend or something?" the punk asked.
